Dollar Tree

It’s not the store so much as the area. Well that’s not entirely true. It gets annoying to have 10 people in a line with one cashier while three other workers are sitting (literally). I have had to ask them to bring up a cashier three times. They should have enough sense to look at the line and call for back up. Also, their customer service is just… Odd. They say the right things but it’s so lack-​luster that it’s ridiculous. I’d rather have them say nothing if they aren’t going to be genuine. The guy with dreadlocks is always really cool and helpful and sweet. They rest are just… There. The area is frankly dangerous. I never go here with out some sort of protection. Today a man was blocking my car. I asked him politely to move five times and he started yelling at me that he was going to kill me. They allow numbs and such to loiter so when you walk in you are greeted with people asking you for money or wash your windows and when you politely decline you are mother effed and then you get to deal with all the crazies inside from cutting in line to yelling across the store to beating on their kids. I watched a man walk in with an exposed bug ass knife and he was clearly off his nut. When I informed the employees they chuckled and shrugged and walked away. Ummmmm… Are you kidding me? All in all, save your self some drama and hand sanitizer and go to walgreens.

I’m a big Dollar Tree fan, I love love love dollar tree. But this place, not so much. It’s the closest one to me so it’s my main Dollar tree that I go to and right away, it’s pretty rough on the outside with all the mean homeless people. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against homeless people but the ones who hang around this Dollar Tree are always really aggressive. But I do like walking in and having the guy greet me at the door with a basket. They have some good stuff here. Most of my holiday decorations come from Dollar Tree lol. It would just be nice if maybe they cleaned it up a bit and got some security.

This is definitely the most eclectic of the… Maybe 6 Dollar Tree stores i’ve been to here in Fresno.
It definitely has the best party supply of the bunch. Lots of themes to choose from and its always stocked. Other Dollar Trees, the party supplies go quick! Especially the one on Tulare Ave & 1^st! Best craft stuff too in my opinion. That stuff gets sold fastish. Its a pretty good size store… This Dollar Tree also has a fridge section. I like to get a cold ruby kist grapefruit juice everytime I stop in. The worker bees are friendly. Except for on Fridays. Thats the day worker bees get to start restocking all the new merchandise. FYI I’ve been told many times that all the good stuff (food mostly) is gone by Monday. Put that in your back pocket.
Also just like Tower Market next door, no bags allowed. Once again the thieving homeless hipsters. Theres a rack to put your belongings and about 90% of the time there is a guy working the door. So as long as you make eye contact while you put your shit down. Everything will be ok. At least thats what I tell myself. lol

Im not a huge fan of Dollar Tree stores mainly because they are cluttered and such. However, I can not hate them either because when I am in need of cheap wrapping paper or any other small item I only want to spend a dollar on this is the place i go… It is really close to where I live too so that is always a good thing. Checkers re kind of slow though.

Truly one of the cleanest, most organized Dollar Tree of them all! Great selection and a helpful staff!

I love this dollar tree! Everything is a dollar!
I especially love the strangely large and continuous stock of bizarre chotchkies.
… like busts of giraffe and rhino heads and mini porcelain plates painted with antelope and hippo portraits; mini display stand included! (they make fun office gifts).
Their party favor section is pretty special too. The sheer variety makes you want to plan a party!
The dollar tree has inspired me to throw a puppy themed party soon because they have these adorably tacky puppy party hats, noise makers, stickers, table cloths, paper cups and plates, and more!
They also have a great variety of basic household items.
Savemart tries to sell the same dollar tree mops and brooms for $ 3!

This is one of the bigger Dollar Tree locations in Fresno, and the staff are usually pretty friendly. The store is usually a little messy, but not too bad. Four stars!

I love the Dollar Store, always can pick up a hair accessory or make up or a kitchen item. Large store.
Shares the same parking lot as the Chicken Pie Shop.
