I recently saw Dr. Monteleone for a back injury I sustained lifting weights. His diagnosis was practical without suggesting expensive alternatives. I wanted an MRI but Dr. Monteleone felt it unnessary suggested recovery physical therapy that I could perform on my own and a follow up appointment in two weeks. The results were great and at a minimal cost. I will continue to see Dr. Monteleone.

I’ve never had a problem with Dr. Monteleone. He listens to what I have to say and doesn’t talk down to me, like some doctors do. If I have an urgent problem, his office staff are always pleasant, and get me in to see him in a timely manner. I’ve already recommended him to several of my friends and family who are looking for a family practice doctor. If I had anything negative at all to say, it would be that sometimes he’s a little rushed, but I think that’s normal for general practitioners; they have to see a lot of patients each day.

Without divulging too much personal information about the patient at hand, which is someone closely related to me. Dr. Monteleone was negligent with the handling of the«patient» at hand. His office staff are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and completely inept to handle situations with truth and integrity. I wish I could say more, but the bottom line is that Dr. Monteleone was a family practice physician and the mere fact that he changed the direction of his business to sports medicine clearly signifies that his own personal motives, reasons, etc. DID not have the patients best interest at heart. At the end of the day he chose to focus his medical practice towards becoming a sports medical doctor and the patient who relied on him as a family practice physician was left in the cold. I wish I could say more… Im protecting the person at hand.
