After charging $ 1,200 for the each of the three Viewguard security screen doors, Eddie had installed one of the screen doors incorrectly. The door only opened half way. When my aunt called him regarding the installation of the door, he told her as long as she didn’t gain any weight she would be able to use the door, and blamed it on the slope of the porch. Perhaps that was an attempt at a bad joke, however when she told him she wanted it fixed, he said he had been working 7 days a week and didn’t know when he would be able to get back to her to fix it. She told him that was not acceptable and that she wanted it fixed. He told her he would come between Friday and Sunday to repair the job. To his credit, he did show up today, which is Saturday and repaired the door. However when he showed up we were standing outside and he said, «We are here, we’ll fix it, we don’t need an audience.» He was unprofessional and rude and did not offer any apologies for the lack of workmanship he showed the first time he was there. After charging as much as he did for the doors you would have thought the quality would have been his first priority. The doors did look nice, although I do not know how secure they would be, as it looks as though one good kick would knock the inner screen off of the frame. The only reason I gave him two stars instead of one star is because he did show up when he said he was going to and he fixed the door, however he was rude and I would not recommend him.

The BEST at solar screen installation! No games, no gimmicks – just a hard-​working team that delivers as promised. No «Oh you have to pay me ½ now» stuff, either! I paid in full once the job was done – not a dime before. Eddie is fair, reliable and the solar screens look GREAT on the house. They help to keep the hot summer/​early Fall sun at bay, which saves on cooling costs. He works around the customer’s schedule, too. I was very pleased and highly recommend him! There is a reason he is rated so high on Unilocal – because he is exactly the «kind» of contractor you’d want to use!

Eddie was professional and courteous. He completed the job (installation of solar screens on our west-​facing second-​story windows) in a timely manner and communicated clearly and carefully throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Eddie does top notch work! He built and installed sun screens for the west facing windows of our house. I have had sun screens at a previous house and was expecting a similar design where you would need to keep the original window screen on to keep out critters. NOPE, Eddie’s design is boxed aluminum that seals tightly against the window frame. I am finally able to watch TV during the daytime without glare or the heat.
Eddie is a fast paced busy guy who may seem a little abrasive but after speaking with him several times and finally in person I realized that is just his personality and he is a good guy.
His pricing is right on par with the quality craftsmanship and professional installation.
I am looking forward to using him again for a security/​screen door and patio awning in the near future.

Eddie did a fantastic job! My kid’s rooms were hot boxes and Eddie came HIGHLY referred as he has done many of the houses in the Candy Cane Lane area by Buchanan High School. Eddie is a man of his word. He did a fantastic job and these screens made a huge difference in cooling down our house! He did great work, and he was prompt. He is saving us a HUGE amount of money in A/​C savings. I would recommend Eddie to anyone.

Eddie installed screens for friends of ours in the Porterville area. The new screens look great and the job was done quite efficiently. My friends were quite pleased with the cost also. I’m sorry he doesn’t work in the LA area.
