El Pollo Loco

Great service! The manager was very involved from the ordering to the delivery of food. She took the time to straighten up the dining area while her employees worked the register and cooked. She double checked our food, too!

so i love pollo loco and when i came into town from idaho today i couldn’t wait to eat here because there arent any in idaho… never had any issues the whole time i lived in fresno but tonight i got a chicken and avocado salad and the avocados were just nasty!, i cant even figure why they’d serve them to me…

I was in this place on 9÷14÷15. As I was having lunch, a man came in begging people for money while they were trying to eat. I went to that counter and asked for help. They did NOTHING. The man hassled the entire place, every single person there was confronted.
I made the mistake of returning again on 9÷17÷15 and the exact same thing happened again, only different homeless man. I went to the counter, asked for help again. Of course, once again. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He hit up every person in the store. I finally asked for my money back and told them I would NOT return. They are catering to the wrong clientele there. Worst most ghetto experience I have had. Stay FAR AWAY

Came to this location one hour before close and the employee stated they had ran out of chicken for the night.. maybe they should change their name to el burrito loco since thats what they only seem to have.

This Pollo Loco is okay. They got my order wrong once or twice but made it up to me. The food is mainly fresh. I mean it’s a fast food chain so it’s a hit and miss depending on the staff. Most fast food chains are inconsistent so it’s no suprise to me when they mess up. The place is clean. If I had to complain it would be about the turn into the drive thru off of Ashlan and blackstone. It comes pretty fast and the parking sucks now cuz of the Walmart so if it’s busy then you might get stuck having to go around once more before you can pull in. So yeah, parking sucks.

worst carne asada burrito ever. terrible and very little meat. worst burrito i have ever had and paid twice as much as any other burrito. only thing halfway decent was the chips.

2 stars because the food is good (it is the same at all locations) and because it didn’t make me sick.
So that’s the chain taken care of. Now this place. filthy. disgusting, badly managed, with incompetent and careless staff.
No salsa cups at the bar. I asked for them to be replenished. The girl came and did that, great job. But whilst there why not notice there are about 4 lids left and fill that up too. Easier not to right; let the customer go and ask again.
The bar itself and the floor underneath it were so gross I almost walked out. The black stains will need scraping off with a knife blade. The counter where the serving takes place clearly hadn’t seen a wipe down that day (or week, or month?)
Despite my revulsion I went in twice and almost 3 times. not for the atmosphere and service I hasten to add. That’s because the «knives forks and plates» I asked for with my meal were not handed over. So off I went, leaving my warm food behind sitting on the table to return and get them. This time I dealt with the manager; the lynch pin of the whole place, and the reason for the shambles becomes clear. I left with forks and spoons, no knives, despite asking for «knives and forks» about 4 times. I never mentioned the word spoon once. I despair.
The El Pollo loco chain need to give this outlet, the manager and her manager, a big kick up the butt because they let the whole company down badly.

First time ever eating here. I ordered chicken nachos. They were so bland and nasty !! Not good at all. The nacho cheese tasted like nothing. My bf ordered a taco salad and it was good. Should have got that instead of nachos!

I absolutely love «The Crazy Chicken»! Service is must faster at this location than the one on north Blackstone.
Decided to try the new Fluffy Tacos (Chicken &Avocado) and turned out to be a great choice!
Very flavorful, tortillas soft and fluffy as well as fresh avocado. Highly recommended :)

Went back a second time just to see if the first time was a fluke… and it was just as good as the first time!!! I cant believe how good this place is for a fast food joint. Had the shrimp taco this time. Taco had 5 large shrimp with a fresh mango salsa! Very good… The cust serv rep was a little to talkative for me, but she was friendly. She even came by my table a few minutes after we were eating and filled my soda for me!!! And its suppose to be self serve!!! Great service!!!

El Pollo is always good for a quick and easy healthy lunch or dinner option. Most fast food restaurants serve fat and carbohydrate laden food full of preservatives. Most healthy food is served at sit down restaurants where you have to wait long periods of time for your food to be served. If you’re in a rush, but want fresh healthy food that doesn’t sacrifice taste, El Pollo may be just what the doctor ordered.
El Pollo Loco is known for its flame grilled chicken which you can order with sides ranging from the healthy (beans, steamed veggies, and salad) to the naughty (french fries or mac & cheese). Premium sides like flame grilled corn, barbeque black beans, or sweet potato fries provide a welcome change from the usual. For those who are watching their weight, I highly recommend the skinless chicken breast meal which comes with grilled veggies (no butter unless you add it yourself) and a salad.
They also serve a variety of burritos, bowls, and salads. Their tortilla soup is amazingly good for a fast food place! My new favorite order is the Avocado Bacon Tostada which will only be available for a limited time.

There is a new manager at this location, and you can clearly see the difference. Excellent service, and cleaned up! We appreciate the difference!

Reason why I’m giving them three stars is for the fast service, I got at the drive-​through. The chicken is dry, as I had already expected, but the salsa was good. The cashier took the time to ask me if i wanted salsa, instead of me forgetting about it and being cross at myself for not having salsa on my chicken. The churro is crunchy and can overly sweet, but I love it anyway.

This location is good. The food is consistent and the service has always been fast and friendly.
They have started selling steak burritos and tacos. They are okay, nothing special. The quality of meat isn’t very good. A little on the tough side.
The chicken guacamole sandwiches are good. Just your basic grilled chicken breast, with guacamole, lettuce and pico de gallo. Nothing to fancy. It’s El Pollo Loco, not so fancy place.
