So I stumbled on El Ranchito by accident actually today ½/​16 and MAN… What a find!!! I walked up and it smells like a old Mexican lady’s house who’s been cooking for like 85 years!!! So as the smell of pure goodness had me hooked without even trying anything the line was out the door (great sign, very excited at this point) I headed toward the pán area, to my white Unilocalers that means bread :) so much pán all over, the bread guy was loading as fast as people were taking it. They got lengua, and tripas! I’m sold and I’ll sooooo be back like soooo soon! 4 stars all the way :):):):):)

The girl with the blonde hair was rude! She didn’t even hand me my reciept but just gave me an attitude telling me it was right there. I feel like I was overcharged because the guy in front of me paid less and we had the same amount! Parking sucks, will not be back!

If you look like you have money, they will charge you $$$$ bread shouldn’t cost a dollar each. And the wait for a burn breakfast burrito is ridic. Thanks for not cleaning the stove and giving me burnt pieces of food.

Disgusting! I’d give them no stars if it were an option. I unfortunately ate here twice. The first time I thought it was amazing & was excited to go back again only to be extremely let down. The tacos were awful, almost every piece of meat had fat on it & then I decided to try some of their pan again because again, I had enjoyed it the first time. Well, I was eating a cookie earlier & bit into a HUGE STAPLE inside of it that scraped the inside of my mouth… I’m still sick to my stomach just thinking about what else could have been in the other stuff I actually did eat!

So I decided to order chorizo burrito 4 orders and we ate it and we ended up having food poisoning from it! Tasted funny and why was it pink?! I went there super early thinking everything was going to be fresh and good but I guess 6AM isn’t good enough cause they are serving old from from the night before!!! Smh food inspector need to check in this place ASAP!

I’m from Bakersfield but come to Fresno to visit family all the time. My brother showed me this place last year and it is the bomb every thing is fresh, they even butcher their own meat! Anyway the carne asada torta is huge with the bread made in house and the meat is tender and delicious only bad part is that its a little too salty but still so good. I can’t wait til I visit again because el ranchito is one of my first stops.

I had the nachos here and opted for carne asada meat. It is soooooo good. Literally one of the best nachos I’ve ever had! They make it right there, fresh, and just how you like it. And the portions are crazy big! Great price too! I will def be going back!

Love the carne asada here… always tender, flavorful, and juicy. The tacos and burritos here are addicting. You can’t beat it, great food at a great price. The pan here are always fresh and the variety is huge. I’m a big fan of jalapeño bread and its not always easy to find. They have it here and its always fresh and loaded with cream cheese and jalapeños.

Great bread and Cakes, good food, fresh meats, they do it all. It’s comfort food at its best. Tamales made every day, and champorado every winter, plus good coffee and milk a juice. A real hidden Gem to be discovered in Fresno.

The food is good…
The customer service is bad…
This is the place I turn to when I’m in need of a tasty burrito or you can purchase meat by the pound for your own meal at home. They are always busy and don’t take over the phone orders unless they are slow which is almost never.
Summed up: If you are a person that expects the overall experience this is not the place for you, if you can really care less about the customer service and have a few minutes to spare in line waiting for really reasonable and yummy order than stop on by they are there to serve you.
Suggestion: Do not dine in, every time I go into this place and see people sitting and eating I can’t help but wonder what he heck is wrong with them. Dining there is almost similar to eating in a busy grocery store just imagine the tables right next to the lines.

Not only were they kind enough to let me practicar my white girl espanol, but the pan is soft and fresh (and they have the jalapeño cream cheese rolls that all the other panaderias run out of early in the day), the adobada we bought from the meat counter was muy delicioso, tambien! Friendly service and great product. I’ll definitely be back.

I went into this place because it caught my eye before I went into a nearby establishment. I did not know that it was a bakery, as well as a place that sells food. Since I am always on the search for a yummy carne asada burrito, I had to try one. The bakery items were calling me, but I suppressed that urge. But, I will be back to try the bakery items. The customer service at the food area was okay. Since it was my first time there, I just followed those ahead of me since no one told me that I had to take the receipt to the bakery side and pay for it there, then return the receipt to where one orders food in order to get the ordered food items. The clerk at the register was nice, but not helpful. She did not seem at all interested in helping me while I was looking at their bakery items. The burrito was not to my liking. It was way too salty for my taste.

This place is so badass! First off, it’s a bakery with lots of yummy pan dulces and panes mexicanos (my all time favorites are the jalapeño with cream cheese, the pound cake with nuts and the pi de queso (mexican cheese cake) They’re all yummy! They also have great cakes and desserts, and seriously have THE BEST Tres Leches cake I’ve ever had! It’s honestly the best and isn’t all dry like other places, and their flan is yummy! They also sell chocolate covered strawberries :)
Secondly, it is also a restaurant. And it is POPPIN’ during lunch time ’cause yeah, it’s hella good. I’ve tried their tacos (delicious!), their burritos (HUGE and delicious!) and their tortas… are HUGE! Made with freshly baked bread (what do you expect, it’s located in a BAKERY) with avocado, and meat, etc all the fixings! OhmaiGod ya tengo hambre!
This place is great and I totally recommend! :)
