Over priced and no flavor. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and was highly disappointed. Will not be going back

Amazing authentic tasting Italian pizza! My wife found this place and now it’s on my list of best pizza places in Fresno. It’s a short list.

Best pizza ever! I’ve been going here with my grandparents since I was a little girl. «Mama» makes the best food! If you haven’t had a Tony’s pizza, you are definitely missing out. Now I take my little girl to Tony’s Pizza. #3generations #bestpizzahandsdown

From the moment I walked in and smelled the place… I knew I made the right choice. I had to restrain myself from eating it on the way home. I knew it deserved better. That half pepperoni and half cheese pizza was arguably the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life.

We love Tony’s Pizzeria! It is family owned and although it can be a long wait it is worth it. The pizza is so fresh and tasty. Been going here over 15 years and still do even though its about 20 min from my house. CASH only. It is pretty pricy which is why we only get it occasionally but we love it.

One of the better pizza places in Fresno, I have been eating here since I was a kid. Everything is authentic.

Great calzone! They don’t take credit cards and don’t have much done in seating(3 tables for 2) or I’d go 5 stars. Would be 5 stars for take out only. Bring cash.

The pizzeria is family owned and operated. You can walk in place an order wait while it is being all made. Everything is made fresh daily. Tony’s has the Best Sauce in Fresno. In addition to finest calzones I have known and have been known for years about the pizza. They make everything in front of you not behind a wall as some places. Trust me, you will be a lifetime fan. I do know by some of reviews the food snobs will turn up their nose at the strip mall location, since it is not fancy, and the limited amount of seating. These types of places are hard to find. They do not pump dollars into advertising. Their business in based on good old customer satisfaction and word of mouth. This is truly my favorite Italian food in Fresno.

Way over-priced with absolutely no flavor in crust, sauce or toppings. As a Chicago native I’ve had to lower my expectations when it comes to pizza in Fresno. But this was such a disappointment I can’t even tell you. $ 24 for a large take out pizza? You gotta be kidding me. I would have been better off with frozen.

This is more of a take out place. There are three or four small two chair tables as you enter. The décor is «mom and pop» all the way. We needed to eat in as we were on our way to see Christmas Tree Lane. But it was a pleasant experience. We ordered a medium /3 item pizza which took about 20 minutes to cook. They were doing a decent take out business with repeat customers known by name. The pizza was very good. The crust was the star, but the rest was good too. Along with water and a soda we spent about $ 16 for dinner. The pizza was so much better than any of the chains. We definitely will keep it on our list of places to get a good pizza when in the area.

Last time I picked up a pie at this place was about 4 years ago. It was very delicious then. I revisited this place a few days ago and I was a bit disappointed. There was very little cheese and tasted different maybe imitation cheese. Don’t think I’ll go back

This is hands down BESTOFTHEBEST! If you want homemade, fresh, high quality Real Deal Italian food that tastes like your own Italian grandma made especially for you… then this is home. Granted, true quality takes a little bit of time, but not only is it worth the wait, you taste the in every delicious bite! If you’re looking for a cheap & easy, keep your complaints to yourself and go get your cardbox pizza somewhere else. You get what you pay for, this place is for home cooked meals to go. You can always call your order in ahead of time if you’re the impatient type. Highly recommend the calzonies and lasagna as well! There’s something for everyone, even the picky eaters. There’s a reason the same owner has been in business for over 40 years!!!

I really wanted to like this whole in the wall pizza joint but I just didn’t. Maybe I’ll give it a second chance someday. I called an order in and was told it’d be ready in 20 minutes. I took my time on the drive there, kinda got lost, but eventually showed up about 25 – 30 minutes after I’d placed the order. Figured it would really be done by then. Anyway, I give the lady my name. She told me it’d be about 10 more minutes. I didn’t really like that extra wait, but whatever. The reviews seemed pretty positive so I don’t mind waiting for quality. I didn’t really see why there was a wait since the place was empty and it didn’t appear as though they weren’t making other orders. The woman’s daughter called me up not quite 10 minutes later. I payed my $ 18 for my large, 2-topping pizza and left. On my way to the car, I felt that the bottom of box wasn’t necessarily hot like other pizzas have been. I peeked inside the box to see if it looked(?) hot– it just looked pretty greasy so I thought, okay the cheese must be hot if it’s that greasy! I’m just trippin about this box in this cool 90 degree heat. But 10ish minutes later, when we dug in… The pizza was cool in temperature and sort of a struggle to pull a slice apart from the rest of the pie. And super greasy. I wasn’t too impressed with the taste for the price and maybe it’s just because I had high hopes from the fellow Unilocalers, but I found it lacked flavor. My blind bf liked it enough and that’s why I gave it another star– but I also think he has extra sensory skills since he’s blind and maybe that’s why it tasted fine to him. The ladies seemed nice but I can’t fathom why my pizza was cold if I was sitting there waiting for it to be ready. The bf is telling me he was very happy with it but I did notice he had to wash off the grease his hands and mouth afterwards because the napkin wasn’t cutting it. I hadn’t seen him do THAT before. Also, he just loves food and will eat just about anything. But I digress– okay pizza, nice ladies, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here. So my second visit will have to wait a little longer.

I cant believe I have never been here before! I have been missing out on a delicious authentic pie! Crust was flavorful and evenly baked… not a floppy greasy soggy pizza in the middle like most. The sauce was fresh and homemade by the Sicilian woman who owns Tonys. They were very friendly and made us feel like we have been customers for many years. I will DEFINITELY be back to try other pizzas as well as the other authentic hand made Italian food!!!

Delicious! If you’re looking to step outside of the standard subpar pizza chain, this is your place! The pizza is fresh and just tastes authentic. The calzones are probably the best I’ve had in Fresno, and you gotta get the sauce on the side! I can’t wait to try their pastas I hear it’s fabulous! Just remember cash only. –enjoy :)

Best pizza in the Fresno area! They make the crust to order, so you can get it as thin or thick as you’d like. My recommendation is thin crust. Bring cash because they don’t accept checks nor credit or debit cards.
