First Family Dental

My daughter is 3 years old and normally she is afraid of, well, everything. I thought for sure she was going to have a tough time. I gave her a long pep talk before we got there and we prayed. She still seemed kind of nervous. We checked in 10 mins before appointment time and I was expecting to wait at least 30 minutes before she was seen. I was wrong! They called her name within 5 minutes. I got kind of nervous when they told me I couldn’t stay with her for x-​rays but the nurse was nice, the office was clean and I could see my baby from the waiting room so it was fine. She did great and when it was time for her cleaning I got to be with her. The assistant who did her cleaning was patient and she explained everything to us because it was delcia’s first visit ever. She was also very gentle. The doctor was also very kind and the appointment was fast. I would recommend this place.

Cleaning is good. Best dental hygienist is in this office.

Horrible! Don’t go here. I went here for a couple years and for cleanings it’s okay. Nice staff too. The problem I have is I had a crown he put on. I kept complaining it had a weird taste, like it was infected. The tooth also hurt for months. They would take xrays and found nothing for a year. When he put it on he never cleaned my tooth so im sure bacteria got in there when he out the crown on. The dr said he could remove the crown but there was a chance my tooth could break. Well it did! I ended up having to get the real tooth pulled, bone graphes, a fake tooth with a metal screw and all, paid for another crown, etc. (all which he referred me out). A year before that, I had a crown put on another tooth and it came off 2 times in a year. I had to get it glued back on each time. I should have left after that first incident. I stopped going and my husband still went there so I told him not to. Well after a messed up crown on him too, he left. So now he has to pay for another crown too. This office sounds like they only know how to do cleanings. I would never recommend this place to anybody!

I made an appointment for my fiancé to get a broken tooth pulled. Over the phone the lady told me they could handle extractions and I was happy that they could see him same day since he was in such pain. Waste of time. When he gets there they take X-​rays and tell him they don’t do extraction there and give him a referral. His insurance only covers the first consultation so now we have to pay out of pocket for another consultation with an office that can actually help us. And he has to be in pain longer.
