Hot Dog on a Stick

Food is excellent;however I had made the employee remake my fries since they were laying out and undercooked.

It is always between Hot Dog on a Stick and Panda Express when I’m at the Fashion Fair food court, but most recently I chose Hot Dog on a Stick. The employees are all very friendly and have a great attitude, which I imagine is hard with their uniforms. The corn dogs are all made to order and are served piping hot. They also have cheese on a stick and funnel cakes and regular/​frozen lemonade in a variety of flavors. I do think it is a bit overpriced, but the experience I receive every time makes it a little more bearable to spend more. If you prefer steak fries over the shoestring fries they have, get a corn dog and frozen lemonade here and get your fries at Tommie’s next to it.

Can anyone say ‘overpriced’? I paid almost six bucks for a corn dog, tiny drink and tiny fries. Ridiculous.

Good customer service; the girl was nice and helpful. They have all-​beef and all-​turkey hotdogs available.
I’ve gotten the Combo that has 1 corndog, 1 fries, and 1 large lemonade. They have a few choices of lemonade. I think there was a sugar-​free lemonade also.
The corndog is pretty large for price ($ 2.85). Fresh potato fries.
I could make a few jokes, but I think I’ll just play it straight.
This is located in Fashion Fair Mall in the food court area.

While their food is good… some of the best «corndogs» around. the snotty little girl that works there needs to be taught a lesson in customer service as does the corporate office. A while back I went to the Hot Dog on a Stick in the Fashion Fair mall and I came in a few minutes before they opened (I obviously didn’t realize they weren’t open yet) and walked up to the cash register. She was standing there with her back to me basically waiting for me to walk away… when I didn’t she turned around and before I could say anything said something like, «Umm we are not open till 11»…it was literally like 10:57. So I said oh, okay I’m sorry… she gave me a dirty look and turned around again. RUDE! I e-​mailed the company and told them that I was offended by their employee and I received no reply! They obviously don’t care about their customers and we will not be coming back to this one. The teenager working there obviously needs to a manager babysitting her because she is badly representing this company. And even more so, their corporate needs to realize they are badly representing themselves when they ignore guests e-​mails!

I love getting hot dog on a stick at the mall with their delicious cherry lemonade. I like the way the batter taste on the hot dog. To even top it off, add some ketchup to it and you are good to go.
A worker once told me that they are not allowed to say «corn dog», instead they have to say «hot dog on a stick». Hence, the name of their store.
