What a great family-owned Mexican bakery! The bread is as fresh as it gets and the prices are very fair. Easy to splurge on cravings for pan dulce here! I’ve had their carne asada tacos and they’re up to par with the authentic street tacos. This place is a gem and the interior is impressive and very modern. What I’ve noticed is that the churros are filled with custard and the cannolis are a must-try.

I don’t care what anyone says about this place personally I love it. The bread is always fresh and tastes better than vallarta bread. This is not a retail store so I don’t care for acknowledgements just ring me up. Best tamales ever the are really huge I don’t care if it’s a lot of masa they are fenomenal. The breakfast burrito are so good. The prices are super cheap. I was amazed at how low their prices are and food and everything overall good quality. The fresh juices are my favorite.

Well, I’ve been here several times. I’m Mexican, so I’ve had Mexican sweet bread from so many places in town. We’ve been coming here since I was a child, back when they were at their smaller location next door. Their quality has definitely declined since then. Their bread is stale about 80% of the time. Their bolillos are usually pretty good though. But I’m not a fan of their cakes either. I’d rather get my bread at Vallarta. I think that says a lot. I’m only giving it two stars instead of one because of my childhood memories coming here with my parents.

Ordered my sons bday cake. Looked great but once we cut into it, the cake was hard. We all couldn’t believe how hard and stale the cake was. My Spanish speaking sister took the cake back. They were denying that the cake was old. They asked another customer, who was in line to order a cake, to taste it and the customer confirmed that it was very hard. After all this hassle they gave us another cake. Very disappointed. I read a Unilocal review claiming the same thing about their cake but didn’t believe it because I have tasted cakes from la Estrella at other parties and they were great. I’ll stick to costco cakes from now on. Half the price and always soft, moist, and delicious.

I love love estrella bakery… their tres leche cakes very good. We ordered my daughters baptism cake from Here and everyone from all cultures who never had it just loved it. I love their soft tacos… their apple turnovers are best in town, I think. .if you warm up it in oven… it flaky and perfect… Most of all, I just love how they are family owned and my Hispanic colleagues tell me this business has been around forever! And the people who work there are so nice to me… I wish there more places like this around. …

I have been very impressed by this Mexican Bakery. They have«it all» under one roof: A very large selection of a variety of baked pastries, cakes, breads A Coffee Bar featuring your favorite types of expresso drinks A Hot Tamale bar A Taqueria You can sit inside and enjoy your specialty coffee with the desert of your choice. I found it very inexpensive and I do believe that this is the largest Panaderia in the Fresno area. Everything that I have purchased from this business have been very good which keeps me coming back.

Good… 1. Service 2. Price 3. Value 4. Quality 5. Selection Good customer service the bakery is fully stocked most of the time. Excellent price of baked goods, not expensive at all. For the price you pay you get exquisite pastries priced much higher at other places. Besides the obvious of quality baked bread you have excellent taste. Extensive selection of food items along with the stables in baked goods.

I came in today to buy some carne asada and carnitas by the pound needed 5 pounds each, instead of giving the asada that was in the tray the guy behind the counter, his name is Javier real cool cat but any ways he went to work got all fresh meat and thru it on the grill and added his seasoning and onions! It don’t get any fresher than that! So before coming here I hit 4 other places and nothing even looked like what Javier was cooking up! Great job Javier and Mari !!! I will defiantly be back!

Been picking up pan dulce from La Estrella for years. Back when they were in the small building next door to the new building where they currently reside in. Good variety with plenty to choose from and the bread doesn’t sit long which means everything is fresh and amazing. Every time I go, I feel like a kid in a candy store. It’s truly some of the best pan you’ll find in Fresno.

For my 400th review, I wanted to make it special. La Estrella definitely hits the special place. The location is odd. It’s not exactly the prettiest place in Fresno, but this gem truly stands out on the street! The décor is absolutely adorable. It has an older Spanish feel inside and it showcases the sweet bread beautifully. However, I ordered the mini strawberry cream chocolate pie. OHMY!!! It is amazing! The whipped cream taste like it has been kissed with vanilla beans and the graham cracker pie crust is the perfect size. Thick enough to hold the layer of chocolate and luscious strawberries, but not SO big that it takes over the pie. SOSTINKINYUMMY!!! Definitely check out this place in Fresno!
