Me ‘n Ed’s Pizza

I don’t know where to begin. First off I have done business with the Blackstone location for years, they are always so nice and courteous. I just recently bought a loft downtown and called them they don’t deliver this far which is understandable. I was sad but ok. So I called the location on Wishon (Tower district) the girl that answered the phone put me on hold for close to ten minutes then told me after taking my order it could be cash only! No debit/​credit cards I explained that I am a regular customer of the Blackstone location she told me «no cash only». So I said thank you and hung up the phone. I remembered there is a Diccio’s down here as well so I called them to see if they had the same policy, I first asked the woman that picked up if they accept credit cards from new customers, she said yes no problem, I placed my order gave her my card number and was done. I then called back Me And Eds asked for the manager and told her «I just ordered from Diccio’s and was treated like a human being, I will never order from you again.» She told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone.

I would give no stars but I couldn’t! We had to wait an hour and fifteen mins first off. Then we ended up canceling the order because the driver didn’t deliver the order, after 2 hours.

Pizza is burnt. Should have checked it before I left. Unfortunately I live too far away to return it. Thankfully I can drown it in ranch to cover it up.

Love Me & Eds but this location is seriously the worst. I will never order pizza from here again. Their store is gross inside and they take forever to get your food to you. Delivery is even worse– it took them well over an hour and my pizza was COLD and burned both times I ordered. I wish they would get their s*** together and maybe we’d give it another try.

If there was anyway I could give this me n eds zero stars I would. Time and time again I have tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt but in recent months it has done nothing but fail my expectations, wallet and stomach. Me n eds used to be my favorite pizza spot but this location alone has changed that all so much for me. The pizza has not been fresh once since moving recently to the tower about 5 or so months ago, I obviously go to this location because of convenience but after tonight never again will I give this spot a chance. At least a handful of times we have gotten delivered the most disgusting pizza, granted they have accommodated out complaints before. We thought we learned our lesson by instead of getting it delivered to get it by pick up in hopes to get something more fresh as well as quicker but definitely not. Tonight we decided to call in for pick up and it was an absolute mad house in there, we went within the 20 mins they said it would be ready but still waiting an extra ten mins or even more just to watch them cut our pizza and finally give it to us. but just because we saw it cut did not mean it was fresh it most definitely had been sitting there for awhile… the pizza was not hot and it was burnt. I guess long story short. the pizza at this location is NEVER fresh, and by never I mean 6 out of the last 6 times we have tried to go here it has not been fresh and disgusting cardboard like burnt pizza is honestly the worst. If you want a fresh pizza do not go to this location, and definitely don’t go on a Saturday night, but like I said we have gone on several different occasions even not at peak hours and the pizza has been crap. This location gives me n eds an absolutely horrible name! Sorry I’m not sorry.

Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it not so great. It’s the closet me n eds to us and I don’t love that or hate it. Coming to dine here is tricky. It’s usually busy and tables that have no people will usually have some dirty beer cups and trash. They move pretty quickly when ordering for pickup. It takes about 25 minutes. I love that they offer Alfredo sauce as a different option and that for mushrooms they have both fresh and canned. Their large 3 topping is always a go to for about $ 12. I love that for events in tower, they will put out a table and do pizza by the slice.

To be completely blunt; here’s what went wrong:
–Ordered, was hung up on before finalizing, giving me a total, or completing the order
— I called back, was put on hold for quite awhile
— Delivery was estimated for nearly TWO HOURS
— Picked up order before the expected 25 minutes, pizza was completely cold and did not seem fresh
— Hospitality was terrible
— Overcharged, to end it all off
$ 30 for 2 cold pizza and subpar service at 2pm on a Monday. Next time, I know to take my business else where.

It’s taken over 2 and a half hours to get a pizza and calzone delivered. I called 20 minutes after the stated time and I was told by a very rude «manager» that the delivery driver is already on the road. I don’t believe that it takes anyone an hour to drive 2.5 miles. When I called to complain after two hours I was left on hold by the manager for twelve minutes. I realized that they had no intention of resolving this situation to my satisfaction. I never got the pizza and calzone I ordered and I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. I usually have a good experience when we don’t order delivery. I assume the delivery driver must have enjoyed my order. This experience has completely ruined my idea of Me n Ed’s. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Pizza is great as always. Crispy crust is worth the trip to tower. Usually takes a little longer than other places but so worth it.

I’m the biggest fan of me-​n-​eds its the only pizza I like but the pizza here is gross it’s way to burnt and has no flavor. Also there’s a security guard that is basically just sitting down inside and not doing anything so what the point of having a security guard. very disappointed

Me n Eds is a pizza place that at some point in my life said its ‘the best pizza in the valley’. It is a great pizza, unfortunately this location doesn’t do it justice.
My first slice was actually at this location many moons ago, and I can tell it’s changed. Over the years I have either sat in or have done take out.
I’m giving it 2 stars because I still have hope that they’ll fix things at this location.
In a few words, the service is decent, location isn’t always clean, and quality of ingredients is a bit sketchy.
The last time I ordered, I had the artichoke, chicken, and onion. Along with a side of cheesy garlic bread. Something was off, I’d say it was the freshness of the ingredients along with the fact that some employees were not using gloves. I don’t know.
I want to visit this location again, but I will be visiting another one until something changes.

Disgusting environment. There are about 6 people on duty and none of them feel the need to clean the eating area. Amongst tower getting more trashed, so is this me m eds. Horrible service. Horrible and dirty eating place.

Ordered online while they were still open. Saw a driver come an hour later, before leaving after a few minutes. I call me and eds and after once hanging up before I say anything, the second time I call she said «we are closed bye bye» and hung up.
They still charged my card 40 dollars.

No problems. Came here and ordered an oven baked sandwich because kitchen at Strummers was closed. People giving this place bad reviews are trippin. Not an amazing, memorable experience service wise, but it’s a clean interior and the food is good. I’ll be back!

Just had a crummy experience here. We were with a large group after a concert. (This is our usual «hang.») We were talking, eating… then one of the staff cranked the music to 11. No more yakking. Asked if they could turn it down some… they did, then the manager turned it back up to 11. We’ve been coming here for a long time. Guess it’s time to find s new post-​concert spot. I hope the manager’s manager sees this.

Rude rude rude service. Manager blasted music over our conversations and was super stingy with the plates for our DINE IN group. And the pizza wasn’t even that great.

I’ve come here many times for events bc ed’s accommodates large groups.
I’m not happy with today’s service my group received.
The music got really loud suddenly. After observing the staff we realized the manager was cramming up the tunes.
I asked an employ to turn it down, which she barely did, but then the manager turned it back up.
No wonder this location has a bad rating. This site is unfriendly, and the manager need another job.
Do not come here.

First of all lets talk about the pizza itself. I ordered a Sausage and Mushroom with extra cheese to go and the pizza was OK. No complaints about the product itself.
Now the pizza joint itself is a different story. First of all, walking into the place, you see a security guard policing the place at the entrance. I’ve seen a lot of shit in and outside pizza joints, but a security guard? Somebody gonna rob the place and make off with all the anchovies. Ordering was an experience too. Little dimwit in front of the cash register had trouble with English so with much pointing, sign language and pidgin Spanish, I got across the fact I wanted a medium cheese and sausage pizza. Bad part is that when I went over to the beer bar, they told me I had to go back to the cash register and pay for beer there… no thanks, I’ll do without.
Then it was time to use the facilities. First you need a key to get into the men’s room. What is this? A gas station? Didn’t matter because the door wouldn’t close properly. I washed my hands but no paper towels, I guess the customers must have used it for ass wipe.
Restaurant itself was filthy, the patrons were loud and obnoxious. This place was really ghetto.
Good pie but bad restaurant. If I were to order a Me and Ed’s again, it would be from a different location.

I’m reviewing this restaurant but it needs no introduction. By my lack of stars, you could ascertain that this was not one of my best experiences. If I could give them a negative five stars I would! I have done some reviews for places that have given me terrible service, but this place takes first place in worst service ever!
First of all I came with my friend and our kids to eat in the restaurant. Upon trying to use the restroom, we found out that there was no toilet paper. When we brought this up to the attention of the wait staff, they informed us that all we could do was use paper towel. What? I was then prompted to speak to someone else in the restaurant who corrected that employee and said that they did not know and they would go to the store and buy some toilet paper. Her name was Sammy and she was the only one that provided us with excellent customer service you were out this treacherous visit.
After the toilet paper debacle, we ordered our pizza. The restaurant was hideous and look like it hadn’t been swept or mop in at least two weeks. We found the cleanest area we could and called it our dinner table. When the food was done, I went to pick up r pizza. After making it blatantly clear that we were eating in the restaurant, the manager still put r pizza in a box to go. Needless to say I was feeling a certain type of way — angry. He told me that they had no more clean pizza platters and it was 10 minutes to closing.
I would not suggest you go to dine in at this me and Ed’s pizza. The pizza itself was excellent and deserve more than one star. But the overall quality of service a lack of attention to anything other than the time that they got off of work was clearly apparent.

Ordered a pizza at 11:15 today. Along with a soda, wings, and garlic bread. The pizza was delivered at 12:45 which an hour and a half for delivery that was only two miles away. Plus, the pizza was soggy from sitting in the box for such a long time. The wings were nasty and tasteless and the garlic bread was missing completely. What happened to the Me N Eds that tasted great? That had great service and delivered in a reasonable time? No more me n eds for this household. The price does not match the quality.
The above section was an old review that I never posted. Today it took nearly 45 minutes to get a personal pizza that was supposed to be in thin crust with no bell peppers. I got it extra thick crust with extra bell peppers. Iam DONE with me-​n-​eds. Get your heads out of your asses and pay attention damnit.
