We came because the lines to John’s Incredible were ridiculous. 1. Our cashier was some chick names Mandeep and they have a lunch special this before 4 you pretty much get the soda and chips for free, well we got here 4:03 and I asked if she could just charge us the lunch price and she said no cuz it’s way past 4. Like really? By 3 minutes you couldn’t just do a lunch special? 2. We’ve been waiting 1 hour for our food and it’s still NOT here. 3. Since we got here a group of people left when we got here and they STILLHAVE yet to clean the table they left it’s been an hour already. Only one working seems to be the young man making the pizzas. The girls are just walking around looking lost.

I wanted to like this place. It’s a local pizza joint close to home. But the experience from beginning to end was frustrating. First of all if you go during dinner time, expect to fight for a parking spot, if you can find one at all. There are several restaurants in the plaza and the lot isn’t big enough to accommodate all the patrons at once. I went on a Thursday night and circled several times before nabbing a spot. I walked into the place and it’s got one family occupying a booth while they wait for their food and one guy at the«bar» with a pitcher in front of him. It’s not a promising sign to have an almost empty restaurant at prime dinner time. You’d think with so few people in the place they’d at least keep their tables clean but a close look at the tables show they haven’t been wiped down lately(the one we ended up sitting in while we waited was sticky). We end up ordering one of their specialty pizzas(and paid extra for the thick crust) and AFTER we paid, they tell us it’ll be about a 25 minute wait. That seems like a long time to wait for a pizza when there’s no one in the place. After 35 minutes, we finally get our pizza. It looks unappetizing. We take it home and hope for the best. Unfortunately, the pizza is bland, the ingredients don’t complement each other and the crust taste a little like cardboard. If you have a specialty pizza, it should be one of your bests. If that was one of their bests, I’d hate to try anything else. Overall, a disappointing experience. The pizza was overpriced and tasteless. The restaurant itself was dirty and the wait was too long. I won’t be back.

Service needs some improvement. Last 2 orders the pizza arrived late and cold. Worst location.

I walk in at 3:30 on a Tuesday, and the place is dead, save for one family eating closest to the register. Glancing around the place, I see it’s drab, somewhat dark, and there are two abandoned tables left by a big group need to be cleaned. I order and go to find a seat. Most of the tables and benches are dirty with cornmeal, used napkins, pieces of crust, and straw wrappers. A couple of tables are covered in shredded cheese and crust. They call my number and I go up to get my eat-in meal, which is boxed to go. The pizza is great; savory and spicy from all the meats, mushrooms, and peppers; loads of toppings cover the pizza, and a sprinkling of shredded cheese on top. As I’m eating the delicious Tuscan Harvest pizza, the manager comes and chats and a kitchen worker starts wiping down the restaurant. She missed one bench and a table, and the floor is filthy. The manager is really friendly, and I learned from her that Me –N-Ed’s owns Piazza Del Pane restaurants as well as all their different Grills, Slices, and Blasts. She wanted to know what I thought of their new gluten-free crust; it is seasoned nicely and is crispy, and probably comes from the same company as BJ’s in Fashion Fair. The wings are mere chicken with a slight spice and baked in the oven. If you order BBQ wings, they toss said wings in a bottled BBQ sauce; there is no Buffalo sauce(Most Me-N-Ed’s, save the Grills, follow this practice with wings). Five stars for manager, five stars for pizza, four for wings, one for décor, two for an attempt at cleanliness. Seventeen divided by five is three and change.

This is the 2nd time I have had a horrible experience here and it pretty much is the last straw, I will be going to the willow and nees location after my order today. I called to order my pizza tonight(Saturday) a little after 5pm, I was told it would be ready in 20 – 25 minutes. Knowing it’s a Saturday night and would most likely be busy I left my house right at the 25 minute mark(I only live about 2 minutes away). I walk in and am instantly encountered with a semi full store but it sounded way worse due to all of the children screaming and running around(not the restaurants fault but still), I walk up to pay for my order and then I am given my card back and no receipt, then the cashier walks away without telling me if my pizza is almost done or checking to see if it’s done and waiting for me. So I sit down and wait for my order assuming that it isn’t ready yet, 10,15, 20 minutes go by and I’m still waiting. I notice there is a pizza sitting on their warmer above the oven that has been there almost as long as I had, so I wait a few more minutes while the cashier is helping another customer and then I go up to inquire about my pizza, telling him that I had ordered it an hour ago and had been waiting almost 30 minutes in the store at this point he asks my name and checks the pizza on the warmer and it was MINE! No one called for me or anything, it may have even been there when I got there since I never actually saw them put a pizza in a box and set it on the warmer. The cashier then tries to give me just my pizza when I ordered a 2 liter and extra ranch. He then gives me my items with no apology or anything and just walks away before I can ask how long my pizza had been ready and no one was coming anywhere near me so I could ask for a manager. By this time I had been in the restaurant for 30 minutes and decided just to go home before my pizza got any colder than it already was(which was very cold I might add) I will not be returning here anytime soon and I will be giving my business to willow and nees. I plan on calling the store tomorrow to see if I can at least get my money back for my cold pizza.

The pizza earns more than two stars, but the restaurant itself is a disaster. Dated furniture, light fixtures, arcade games and ceiling fans. Speaking of the fans, when did they clean these last? I was glad we were getting takeout because I wouldn’t want any of that inch thick crud plopping into my food. The floor is filthy and sticky. The staff is nice enough and I’ve never been disappointed with their pizzas. So five stars for the pizza and staff, but clean it up people!

Stopped by to grab a pizza for my mom. Saturday night, 8 pm. Not one person in the place. I could see why. No upgrades since it opened twenty years ago. Dingy, decaying & destroyed. Cieling fans nasty and wobbly. Small flat screen tv uncentered. Brass poles around bar area, filthy. Pizza and staff were fine but Am Pm mini mart has better dining conditions.

This Me & Eds pizza location is horrible! They are dirty inside and the pizza comes with extra toppings(as in hair) Choose somewhere else to eat. So many other options. Oh if you choose to eat here when you call to report a issue be prepared to speak with employees that don’t care and do not have concern for your problems. Because they WILL make it your problem. It makes me sad because I grew up playing soccer in this community and we have eaten Me & Eds my whole life.

I called… they asked if they could put me on hold… on there for a couple of minutes… I hung up and called Pizza Factory on First & Nees. They answered on first ring, took my order, and my pizza will be ready in 20 minutes for pick up. My family probably orders/eats out 4 – 5 times per week for dinner… this restaurant will be last on our list for awhile.

Officially done with this location. Two straight deliveries with pizza that I wouldn’t feed my dog. It’s a shame that the Cedar and Herndon location can’t deliver with the quality that other Me and Eds locations do.

I live in apartments right near the Cedar & Herndon location. So I’ll usually order & just pick it up. One Sunday early afternoon I decided I would just have them deliver because I had a few friends over & we were drinking. It took at least five minutes for the guy to put my phone number in. Then it took at least another five minutes for him to get my order. Then came the time for me to give my address. For some reason they had my sister’s address in the computer for my phone number. I gave him my address & he repeated it a couple times. I thought we were all good to go from there. He told me it would be about 45 minutes. An hour came & I decided to give them a call. They told me it was on the way. Another hour later & I called again. Then after another hour I was getting ready to call & my sister called. They had showed up at her apartment. The delivery person had my address but showed up at her place. She sent them on their merry way & I called backed complained & canceled my ordered. I will not be ordering from this location anymore. I’ll stick to the Willow & Nees location.

Me-N-Ed’s 4072 E. Ventura Fresno, CA93702 255‑1604 I love Me-N-Ed’s Pizza. The service here was poor. When we called to order our pizza we were put on hold five times. I got my pizza, after a moment of searching by the staff, then I asked for some ranch and plates. The lady hands me a bag and points to the paper plates… I guess I didn’t pay enough for them to get me plates. I get a bag with one serving of ranch, jalapenos, parmesan chesse and red peppers for a large pizza? What sense does that make? Am I going to eat the whole thing? I asked for plates didn’t I? So I politely asked for more cups of ranch to which she replies only one ranch per pizza, no matter the size. The only thing that kept this rating from be a 1 star is that the pizza was good. I would rather drive to another Me-N-Ed’s than pay them for lousy service.

Both of my fans know how much Evil loves pizza. I do. Both of my fans also know that Evil does not love Me-N-Eds. I know. You’re saying, «But Evil, Me-N-Eds is a Fresno institution! How can you not support the local guys? Me-N-Eds is great! You’re stupid if you don’t like it.» Minions, Evil will acknowledge a good thing about Me-N-Eds. The thin crust is crispy and pretty tasty. But that’s where it ends. I was forced(FORCED!) to eat Me-N-Eds last night and I finally figured out what is wrong with their pizza. It’s the sauce… or lack thereof. Frankly, I’m not sure they even put sauce on their pizza. How can you make a good pizza when you skimp on the sauce? You can’t.

Okay so Saturday night we are recovering from our Friday night drunk so we hang low at home(Well Cousin Steve’s Home). We decide that Pizza is cool for Dinner since we don’t have to go get it… they Deliver… And the reason for the 1 star. They tell us 45 minutes, for a Saturday night at 8pm that’s cool, I will have a snack. Hour 1 — we call Me — N — Ed’s and ask Where is the pizza… Some excuse about a new guy, deleting the order… Well make it and rush it right out… plus 50% off Hour 2 — we call again… Talk to the manager who tells us that the delivery person is «JUSTABOUTTOLEAVE» 45 minutes later… Pizza arrives… not the delivery guys fault so we tip him… The pizza sauce for the Bread sticks is cold almost frozen. The pizza is luke warm at best, flat and hard… Obviously just sat for the past 2.45 hours. The biggest irritation about it all is they tell Cousin Steve to make sure he see’s the 22.00 credit since they ALREADY Charged him for the total order… Whatever Dude we are smarter than that!

This review pertains to the Me_N_Ed’s Pizzeria on Maple and Behymer in Northeast Fresno. Ordered a large salami on thin crust and when it arrived the pie looked the size of a medium. We actually measured the diameter at just under 13 inches. I called the manager and he said to «hold the pizza for inspection» and and would not send a replacement because he wanted to see for himself if it was really smaller! I told him too late my teen boys had already begun to eat and he said«I can’t help you then». LOL! I paid $ 15. with tip for a medium sized pizza! Uh uh, life is getting too expensive. Gas is pinching here and the buck needs to be stretched. Sorry Me-N-Ed’s, it’s been a nice ride for the last few years. Hello Davinci’s, welcome back to the family!

Me-N-Ed’s is simply one of the best treasures of Central California. Most people who eat Me-N-Ed’s tend to agree that it is by far one of the most delicious pizza’s they’ve had. Me-N-Ed’s pizzas are typically a thinner, crispy crust(However, their New York Style is QUITE delicious as well) that has a terrific blend of cheeses(I believe its something like 4 – 7 different cheeses) and a zesty sauce underneath. All of it is very well balanced and toppings tend to be plentiful. When moving away from Central California, this is one of the things you’ll truly miss. Do not miss it when you’re in town.

Me-N-Ed’s makes some of the most expensive pizza in Fresno, but it’s far and away the tastiest, especially if you’re a fan of thin crust. I don’t think there’s any one secret that makes this pizza so wonderful; all the elements simply work well together: thick, well-seasoned sauce, loads of toppings, and a cormeal-dusted crust, all fired to perfection in brick ovens. I’m a big fan of their vegetarian, but you’d probably do well with anything on the menu. I have yet to meet a Me-N-Ed’s pie that I didn’t love… and then completely devour.
