I had the Hummus salad. Food was fresh and had good flavor. The Fresh orange juice was exceptionally yummy! This was my first time eating at this establishment and I will be a returning customer!

Vegans beware you may get addicted!!! Fantastic spicy black bean Sammi, with a pita that was very fresh and delicious. Quiet place set up like any other deli. I had really great service from a nice young man. If you haven’t been here before you need to give it a try.

Bottom line is this. They are scheduled to be open until 9:00pm, myself and my girlfriend came in at 8:30. Chairs were up and the dude working made us feel guilty for wanting to order food. I don’t write this for the consumer, but rather the owner. Change your employees. 10⁄20 was the date.

This was our first time here and we will be back. The food was awesome! I just loved their hummus so much. I also loved the way the pita was grilled so that it was crispy. My only complaint was that the extra charges for certain ingredients are not clearly marked and since this was my first time there I was kind of confused but the food made up for it. I also love that they have one of those amazing soda machines with tons of choices! My fav is hi c grape!

I found my new spot! I am a Chipotle girl myself but this place is delicious. I was in a rush so I ordered the turkey bacon avocado quickly but I’m glad I did. Very delicious. A tad messy but I was so hungry I didn’t even care. Guys who work here are super cool too, I will def be back!

Had a Groupon and tried them for the first time today… so yummy! The pitas are so good and really filling. And i also had a plain pita with hummus for dipping. Pita might be lightly toasted? I don’t know but it was delicious. Definitely going back.

unfortunately, i had the worst service ever, placed my order and i had to wait for almost half an hour plus, there was only one employer at the time serving bunch of people. i rated the 2nd star just for the food quality and for the only one employer who worked hard by himself.

Two stars for the food. I’ve been coming to Pita Pit for a while. The first night I came for dinner was on March 17. The service was terrible! I asked for the vegetables(onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms) to be grilled with my chicken. The guy refused to do it. Not only that but he was rushing us out the door. Talking so fast you can barely understand him. I wouldn’t consider myself a regular but I probably come 1 – 2 times per month and I know you get your veggies grilled with your meat. I will be driving to other other location from now on unless I get bad service over there. Then unfortunately it will be time to stop coming all together.

My husband has an allergy to unsaturated oil. It is not common so we have to check ingredients to everything he eats especially when we eat out. We initially thought this could be a good option for him if the pita bread didn’t have oil. We came in with one question, «do you have an ingredients list for the pita bread?» The person working the counter gave us a blank stare and said the«nutrition facts are and the wall, and they aren’t gluten free.» When I informed her the ingredients list and nutrition facts are not the same thing she gave me the blunt response, «well I just have no idea.» Really?! How hard is it to look up the ingredients on the staple item of the restaurant. Her low ability to problem solve was extremely discouraging and sent us out of there STAT. Not to mention she was presumptuous and very rude. Too bad Pita Pit lost our service because had the pita not had oil(which we never found out) then we would be there all the time. Our poor service was received on Monday, 8−11−14 at 6:40pm.

I must say, I have been going to this location for a number of years and tonight, Sunday July 27th, 2014, my wife and I decided to go there for a late dinner. The store hours on the door say it is open until 9:00 pm on Sundays. We walked in at 8:42 pm and the guy behind the counter informed us they were closed. Keep in mind, the front door was unlocked, the lights were on and it was a full 18 minutes before the posted close time. The food is always excellent there, but with such poor service, I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the other location and actually be served during operating hours.

This is out new favorite place to eat. So many options to choose from, you’ll never get bored. I usually have the wheat Gyro pita with hummus, spinach, bean sprouts, fresh mushrooms, and feta cheese. The hubby has the Ceaser pita with bacon. It’s all yummy so try an mix it up ! Now let’s get to the employes, can you say fantastic!! every employee we have ever encountered here has been really great. Reasons why I gave them a 5 star rating. You won’t be disappointed :)

The crew has always been kind and courteous. I love how they accommodate my special orders, mustard as salad dressing, hello? So many veggie choices and grilled pineapple is the best. Making the pita a salad is the way to go too.

Have only been here once, but I really liked what I had. It escapes me now… maybe Italian Stallion? I loved it and ate it all… my only negative comment is that they need to pay a little more attention to portion control. The three other people in my group got pita wraps about twice the size of mine. I shined mine off no problem, and could have eaten more, had it been the size of everyone elses. Couldn’t help but feel a little shorted. Definitely a place to try out.

It’s a hit and miss. I like my turkey cold and depending in the worker I can either get it cold or I can’t. Even when I tell them«I’ve gotten it cold before» they proceed to say«oh I don’t know about that» just give it to me cold! But it’s always good in the end either way.

The Pita Pit at Riverpark, consistently has fresh, amazing pita sandwiches. Our favorite«The Works» with double meat is AWESOME! Noël and the other servers are always friendly and welcoming!

The food here is tasty. The customer service is awful and the majority of the employees don’t know how to spread sauces. The system they have to make the pitas is so inefficient! It takes forever to get your order.

Decided to try this place for the first time while visiting my mom. I’m so glad I did! They offer fantastic and fully customizable pita sandwiches and smoothies with several meaty and meatless options for vegetarians/vegans! Their smoothies are also worth trying. Although they typically contain yogurt, they are available dairy-free, which are just as good. The downside here is that they use styrofoam cups. The staff at this location are friendly, and helpful. Do yourself a favor, and try this place!

The Pita Pit LOOKS like a fast food place but it ain’t. Kinda tasty but not super authentic. And crazy slow. To say they have a ‘system’ is a misuse of the word system! More than a couple customers seems to overwhelm them, and they seem to just do the easy shorter orders first. So one person in the party gets their order, then someone else in the place, then maybe you get yours… weird. Doesn’t seem to bother them, no sense of urgency, and If I had a beer I’d be ok too(they don’t serve beer).

Lived in Fresno for many years and this is the first time I’ve been here. Had a Living Social voucher so I had to give it a try. I’m glad I did. Great alternative to Subway/your standard sub shop. Don’t forget the Feta cheese, it’s what really makes it a Pita. Will definitely be going back, even without a voucher. Worth the full price, in my opinion.
