Awesome place that has been here forever with large variety of cold cuts and deli foods. Service is awesome. Definitely a great place to checkout if you’re in the mood for a sandwich.

I love this place. Every part of it. If I had more time I’d purchase groceries here as well. I spend time looking them over as I’m waiting for my sandwich. I am a sandwich guy. Always loved them. This is hands down my favorite place to get a good sandwich. No gimmicks no weird sauce, drizzle, powder etc. Just fresh ingredients and meats prepared to perfection. I wish they were open Sundays but I understand it’s a great thing to let everyone off. Oh and the people their are always awesome. Grab a coffee next door and you’re solid.

One of the best deli sandwiches that I have ever had! I ordered their veggie and cheese sandwich and it came loaded with veggies including marinated green olives and mushrooms! Yum! They have the best selection of cheese to choose from as well as Boarshead meat which is top notch in my book and pretty hard to find. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh including the bread! They also have a variety of specialty salads, chips and other snacks that you can purchase! I just wish I lived closer to this place, I would eat there all of the time!

The best sandwiches ever! I usually go around 1:50−2pm to avoid the crowds. I always get the turkey bacon avocado on sourdough with a side of red potato salad. I always tell my coworkers to come here too, even if it’s out of your way, you won’t regret it!

Best deli in Fresno! Not even close. The portions are huge and the sandwiches are crazy good. I like the French dip. I think it is Thursdays when they do trip tip sandwiches. Which are amazing. Line out the door! They are always busy. Don’t go in. Hurry. Go there to experience great food.

Have heard so much about this place and thought I would give it a try. They were right! Got there early and was probably the first customer. Staff was very busy since they were putting the salad bar together and had a delivery truck to unload, but not to busy to help me with their menu. Had the pastrami sandwich to go and when I got home wished I would have ordered two! It was great with all the freshest ingredients. Want to the french dip next! Soooo Good!

If you are a foodie(like me) then you must make this a place that you MUST try. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw in the sandwich. Let me just say, it was sooooo good that it changed my life. I no longer, hate Mondays, avoid my mothers calls, and most of all I am full. The coleslaw(a dish that I usually think is… men) was awesome. It had apples, pineapples and was kissed by angels. It paired perfectly with the pulled pork. The bun was also toasted nicely. I am now in heaven. I would give this place 4 thumbs up… if I was some mutant freak with extra appendages. Oh did I forget to mention, they have beer!!!

Everything here is excellent. Today I have the pastrami and it was scrumptious. My brother and nephew had the barbecue beef sandwich, and a submarine sandwich. Both of them are also excellent. You can get anything you want on them including pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion etc. Everything is always fresh and vibrant. The bread is delicious it’s so fresh and tasty. also have the potato salad which came second only to my mothers. Now that’s high praise indeed! Highly recommended.

Deli in the sunny side part of clovis. It’s a good size for lunch, we got there just before the lunch rush which seemed to fill up quite fast. There was a lot of left over room in there fridges I was expecting more pasta and home made goodies. About normal size for sandwich menu. I liked everything on them expect the bread. It was overwhelming for me and next time I will try the rye bread. The submarine was definitely the sandwich to try!

I live in the Sunnyside area and have heard all the ruckus about this place, but it’s only open for lunch! I finally was able to try it out today. I ordered the works, less the tomatoes and onions in wheat bread. Hands down, this was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. They pack the sandwich with so much meat! The veggies are crisp and fresh. The bread was soft and moist. Overall, very impressed! At first I thought $ 12 for a sandwich, drink and chips… Pricey? NA! Not for the quality and the amount of meat placed in their creations! Thanks for the great lunch!

The club sandwich is Great!!! So is the beef dip! The beef dip outta this place for me challenges beef dips ive had from restaurants. Always friendly staff. And although the line may be long, it goes by really fast! Kudos to the staff for being fast, friendly, and efficient during rush hour!

The best sandwiche, always so fresh, always clean nice atmosphere. I love the hot pastrami, really good. Italian pasta is also great. Workers are awesome and very helpful, tell them Boston Bob sent you and they will hook it up. Extra toppings, for sure. Peace be with you.

I went in this morning for my first time ever & it was completely packed. The line had at least 10 or more people in it. However, the service was very quick & they still managed to be friendly & polite. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado, which was absolutely perfect. I got my to go order as soon as I was at the cash register & the guy was so nice & kept a smile on his face the whole time, despite how busy it was. I decided to splurge & grab some cookies to go as well & they were simple yet so good. Everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend stopping by here! — girl w/the sun & moon tattoo

Waiting for my pastrami… when I got it I was wowed. Tender, very little fat. Bread was fresh and just right. Why do I only go a few times a year? Oh yeah, it is way far from my neck of the woods. Still worth the road trip.

YOUHAVETOTRYTHISPLACE!!! The environment itself is amazing. Fast service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices for DELICIOUS food. I personally get the Turkey Bacon Avocado on the French Roll with a side of seafood salad and it NEVER disappoints. Wide selection with daily specials that are always a steal. If you live in Fresno or Clovis you have to try this place at least once.

So far, best sandwich place in Fresno! The bread and ingredients used are always fresh. Great customer service. I have tried the Turkey avocado, deli club, French dip, and tri tip sandwich. ALL were amazing!!! I used to be an avid fan of deli d. But not anymore since having Sunnyside deli!

GREATSANDWICHES. I either get the TBA, yummy; or pastrami, can’t go wrong; or on Thursday their tri-tip special that comes with rice pilaf & a side of salad(the wait is worth it, expect a line); or if I’m feeling fishy their seafood salad, delish! Prices are descent but the seafood salad is a bit pricy and not so much seafood . Sides are good too. their bacon potato salad, yummy & clam chowder(ok).

Got the Hot Italian Sub and rice pilaf, they only serve rice on Thursday’s but it’s the best I’ve ever eaten in my life!

I have been eating here since forever and a day. Sunnyside delicatessen is really one of my favorite places to get a sandwich in Fresno. Everything I have ordered on the menu so far has been delicious. The ingredients are always fresh and the customer service is always friendly. It may be the time of day that I usually decide to eat but I never run into huge crowds which amazes me because the food is great so I would think that this place would be packed all day. However, my friends that go here for their lunch breaks tell me the lunch lines can be pretty intense. When I go I usually get the turkey bacon avocado or regular old turkey. While this may not seem to exciting because any typical sandwich serves this stuff, the fresh ingredients really set Sunnyside delicatessen apart. If your planning on stopping by for a great sandwich just know that it is located in a rather odd place. You have to make sure that you are paying close attention because you will pass it up. Look out for a sign that says Philips avenue and a big blue and white sign that says Sunnyside pharmacy.
