This is excellent pizza, better than Me N Ed’s. It’s brick oven made, and the toppings are full. The cheese bread is always cheesy and garlic flavor. Downside, is the runny ranch and long delivery times. But the pizza is so good that the delivery times are worth it. Inside is cool. Lots of games and draft beer. It could use some updating, but still a great place to dine.

What you get here is pizza at a great value. They are very generous with their toppings and the pizzas are cheap. They cook their pizzas in a brick oven pizza which creates a nice, crispy crust. Ranch and jalapenos are free! I came here on a whim and was happy to discover this place. A lot of people compare the pizzas here to a Me-n-Ed’s pizza, so accordingly I will make some comparisons of my own. This is used to be a Me-n-Ed’s so the pizzas are cooked in the brick oven that Me-n-Ed’s left behind. The end result is a pizza that has a similar crust to a Me-n-Ed’s pizza. Brick ovens create the crispy crust that Me-n-Ed’s is known for and that’s where I think most of the comparisons come from. It’s also where I think the comparisons stop. If you’re looking for a good pizza at a good price then this is the place. They are winning in terms of quantity as they hook up their pizzas with a good amount of toppings and it’s only a dollar extra for each additional topping. Where they are lacking is in quality as the quality of their toppings is a notch below Me-n-eds. There’s something that bothers me about their pizza but I can’t put my finger on it but I am pretty sure it’s the salt factor. Their crust and cheese are on the salty side. Considering pizzas are salty anyway, this can become a bit much, at least in my opinion, and this comes from a guy who doesn’t mind salty food(for the most part). Therefore, in terms of quantity vs quality, they make up in quantity for what they are lacking in quality. They also offer ranch dressing, jalapenos, parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes at no extra charge. I think that’s awesome but I have to add that their ranch is on the watery side and is not the ranch you have come to love from other places. Good ranch always makes a pizza better and that didn’t really happen here for me. Service is good but on the slow side. The restaurant is dated and not much different from when it was a Me-n-Ed’s in the 80s. Overall, it’s a good place that offers a good pizza at a good price. It’s not the best pizza in Fresno but it’s a good deal that is hard to pass up.

Sunnyside pizza has been our family’s favorite pizza place for the past 8 years. It has become a nostalgic taste for my children. We started coming here for my son’s soccer party’s when he was in elementary school, he is now a junior In HS. This says a lot for this family owned business ! The friendly atmosphere and The delicious pizza is what keeps Us coming back. My favorite is the Mexican pizza you have to try it ! Beans, chorizo bacon jalapeños and cheese mmmmm. It’s not on the menu just ask for it. A small feeds 2 people. It’s great paired with an icy cold 32 oz tap beer for only 5 bucks ! They have games and prizes for children lots of seating for small and large party’s. You will love the pizza and the environment and of course the BEER!

2 star for delivery service and 3 and half star for pizza because this one tasted like the pizza was reheated and they typically don’t taste this way. I ordered a pizza for delivery and they said it will take close to one hour, so the pizza finally arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes later. Disappointed! It’s only a 5 minute drive and yes they still got a tip.

The pizza here is pretty good and worth the money you pay. The crust are similar to Me n Eds and they are pretty generous with their topping. The price is pretty decent. You get jalapeños and ranch for free so that’s a plus. The owners/employees were super friendly and nice. I’ll definitely be back. Like a typical self serve place you pretty much sit wherever you like. The only downfall was that I went when there was a birthday party going. The party kinda scatter all over the place with kids running around. It’s not the business fault but they should limit a side to the party. While waiting for my order I notice a group having a difficulty finding a place to sit. Even though no one was sitting at some of the tables it was full of nakins and empty water pitchers.

I ordered delivery and was promised 1hr20mins for delivery due to how busy they were(I’m only about 1.5 miles away). Pizza arrived at about 1hr35mins but came with ranch and jalapenos and a bunch of parmesan/chili packets. The pizza was loaded with toppings and cheese and had good flavor. I’m happy to support to the independent joints. This one is good, but needs to be ordered in advance. I plan on eating at the location next time.

Some of the best pizza in Fresno, great choices for toppings. Really good wings if your looking to try something else. I will be going back.

I ordered a large combination pizza from Sunnyside Pizza. Calling in the order takes a few minutes, and understandably since they are usually busy. My order was read back with efficiency and courtesy. The delivery of the pizza took about an hour to arrive, but that is expected. And on a side note, there is no delivery charge. My pizza was loaded with toppings and was piping hot. Sides of jalapenos and ranch are paired without asking. Absolutely worth the wait.

The food was ok, pizza was a little like me n eds, the service was horrible, waited an hour to get my pizza which was cold, the wings were cold avg we got our garlic bread after we were done eating!

I have been coming here for years. What I love is the loads of cheese they put on the pizza. The pizza is inexpensive and the family size is very large and can easily feed a family of 5. Many birthday parties and get together’s have happened here!

Co-worker and I stopped in this place because the Me-N-Eds across the street has been up and down lately. What a great decision. Its definitely a no frills place but the pizza was delicious. Most of the establishments around this part of town aren’t well kept and tend to be dirty. This little pizza place is spotless and you can tell they want it that way. I was amazed by the attention they seem to give the cleaning. Even the restroom was spotless. The game room was dark but I suspect they would turn it on if you had some kids come in, but I don’t know. They even have a little ticket redemption area for the games. This place is much better than any other pizza in the area and I will definitely be back.

Pizza’s was above average in taste and is inexpensive, however I can’t say the pizza’s here is the best or the most unique in the Fresno and Clovis area, because their toppings although fresh was on the stingy side in comparison to other pizza place in town(more than pizza, spata’s), while the crust appears to be too thin for an american style pizza, I do enjoy thin style from the classic Italian brick oven, but this crust is nothing like the classic, the crust is somewhat similar to «me and ed’s» in taste. The pizza’s here also takes a minimum of 30 minutes to prepare on a non-busy day if you order to take-out or dine in– that’s a real long wait more than the average, most other pizza places will deliver in that time frame to your home, so calling ahead for your order would be important if your picking up your order. Don’t expect much from the interior or the service its nothing impressive, its filled with tacky tables and chair, and looks somewhat like a cheap pizza place with its florescent lighting, however they do have a mini arcade inside for the kids to play. This is a self service place, so that means you order your own pizzas at the counter, and it will be delivered to your table, you are also responsible for cleaning your table up and taking your own drinks here. The Large Combination Pizza $ 15, was good, but it did not impress my taste buds because it lacked the addictive flavor that makes you take one more slice after the first slice, firstly this is maybe because the crust was too thin and lacks a yummy savory taste even with all that topping of pepperoni, olives, capsicum, mushrooms and beefy bits, the sauce was not too bad however– it was slightly sour and sweet yet not too tart, while the toppings for the combination is your typical run on the mills pizza place with its generic topping for a combo pizza, nothing that stands out or makes this place unique. The topping’s as i mentioned was also on the stingy side, so I was disappointed there too, but overall the pizza was good and edible, it just did not make me want to have another slice. I would probably be back to this pizza place if I was in the sunny side area and dreaming of pizzas, I certainly wouldn’t go out of the way to come here for pizza’s because there was nothing unique about it.

The pizza was okay. I don’t thinks it’s the best pizza in Fresno. Bcs pizza in Clovis I believe the pizza in town.

Me and my daughter I love this pizza! Crisp, not too soucy, fresh ingredients, free ranch and jalapeños. How much better can it get. It’s way better then it’s nearest competitors.

This pizza is pretty good! I have not tried any other toppings besides combination and pepperoni. The peperoni was delicious and the combination was good but i didnt care for the sausage on it. Im not a fan of «me n eds pizza» so i choose sunnyside pizza instead. Their garlic cheese bread is soo good too. All of the people that have helped me are very nice. There prices are very reasonable and taxes are already included. The only thing about this place is it is very busy so be ready to wait about 30min for ur pizza on a busy night for dine in. Not sure how long it takes for delivery since ive never had it delivered.

First of all it took 2 hours and 30 mins to get my food delivered. They said hour to hour and 20 mins. I called back at an hour and 40 mins they were clueless and said it’s out for delivery be there in 10 – 15 mins. Finally when I was about to drive down there and just get the damn pizza the driver shows up. He tells me the ticket showed it was only ordered an hour and a half ago. To top it off the box is smashed and pizza is stuck to the top of it. They just lost our business.

Sunnyside Pizza has got to be one of the top pizza places in fresno. I was first introduced to Sunnyside Pizza when I was attending Sunnyside High School. Like some of the other reviewers I am not a fan of their wings but I am in love with their crisp pizza crust and well their pizza in general. I remember before trying this place I was not a fan of Hawaiian and now Hawaiian pizza is one of the first things that I order when going for pizza. The prices are rather inexpensive when compared to other places and for about $ 25 you can get enough food to feed an entire family. Sunnyside pizza is a very popular business in Fresno and stays packed with good reason, they have great food!!! You can tell walking in to this establishment that they are a family establishment and with that being said its a great place to bring and treat the kiddos. Thumbs up Sunnyside Pizza!!!

Loud, packed and pizza loaded with toppings. On a lovely Friday evening in Clovis I decided with the family of course for some Sunnyside pizza with the help of Unilocal of course with a rating 4 ½ ratings and this time the reviews were on point. Everything was phenomenal pizza, games(for kids of course) and draft beer. The only thing that kinda bothered me was service but who can blame them when it was really packed and the building wasn’t that big, looked like an animal house. The pizza was delicious and did I mention packed with toppings also? So good I couldn’t even taste bread and ladies or gentlemen that’s how it should be here the American way, where we play hard, work hard and get fat. There’s nothing more to say but will return but not in a Friday maybe in the weekdays, four stars for food and one star for service but that doesn’t matter when there is cheese and meat in my tummy.
