Went there on Friday (03 Oct) morning and it was closed. Disappointed that the old Dr office is gone.

Nice atmosphere and the location is right next to the ferry. However the place smelled of hay (petting zoo?) when we walked in and the oatmeal was loaded full of berries to the point it didn’t really look like oatmeal. If that’s your thing you may like it but I’ve had better loaded oatmeal before. White mocha was decent and the baristas were nice.

Im from nyc and Far North’s Americano is on point. La Marzocco espresso machine which is world class. The Egg sandwhich wrap was very little egg and a whole lot of cheese. Good but guilty good. Ask for more egg and easy on the chz. Great little place to enjoy coffee and bfast on Friday Harbor.

My wife and I sat here and enjoyed some iced tea while waiting for the ferry. The tea was delicious and the barista was present. Great view, give it a try!

I was making my way back from Orcas Island and awaiting the ferry to Canada when hunger struck! What’s a soul to do?
I happened to see that The Far North Café was right near the line up and better yet, had a «to go» window. Clever!
I ordered the breakfast burrito and some coffee. While ordering I learned that the guy at the register moved up to Friday Harbor by way of the Bay area. Excellent!
And for that matter, excellent was the food! It came out in reasonable time (Didn’t miss my ferry), portions were good, service with conviviality and hunger was appeased!
Next time I’m in Friday Harbor The Far North Café will be a must stop!

Great iced decaf latte. Cookie was fair, but view from outside seating made up for it. The barista even re-​ground my beans for the latte because they were not to her liking! Class act!!! A clean, well-​lit place!

Great coffee Great view and WIFI!!! Very friendly staff and owner. Front porch is awesome great location right on the Main Street and ferry landing.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich while waiting for the ferry and they have a nice little to go window out back. The sandwich was big enough to split. The only complaint is I wanted ham but they were out so I opted for the sausage which was good just not my first choice. Other than that nice, speedy service.
