We stayed at Tucker House, Jeannie House, and loved every minute. From the helpful staff to the daily cookies, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If you’re thinking of coming to San Juan this should be at the top of your list of hotels.

There is nothing positive to say about our stay thus far at Tucker House Inn, and we are still guests here for another day! From the beginning we have had an awful experience, and would not recommend this spot for anyone. Problem #1: We called ahead to be sure of 3 things; that staying on New Years Day would not prevent us from finding activities and restaurants, that we would not have the standard bottle of champagne in the room(against our religion) and instead the offered cheese plate, and that we would be able to have food that met our dietary restrictions(no pork or gluten). We arrived at checkin time to find a bottle of champagne in our room… The cheese plate was not there, but eventually ordered, to the obvious chagrin of Beth — but it was delivered as we were leaving to go to their coho restaurant for dinner… We were served bacon and bread at dinner… We discovered that all 8 of the free bicycles were out of service(missing chains, no brakes, etc). We discovered that the 3 free kayaks were too heavy to carry to the water, and that we needed to pay $ 40 for a taxi with kayak bars to transport it to the water… Problem #2: Hair, and not our own, was everywhere. Everywhere. Bathroom
