Used to love coming here, and to other Menchie’s as well. And then the locations starting removing the hot fudge and just leaving chocolate syrup in its place (yuck). I’ve been to this location a couple times recently and it doesn’t look like they have any intention of bringing hot fudge back. That’s really a bummer. I think until they do, the family and I will try the ice cream place down the street.

I usually like this place but so not the case today. Don’t take your kids here! Apparently this location has a problem with children who are loud after having FroYo! The employee took it upon herself to tell my 2yr old to quiet down. Even though I was seated 4ft away from her. I didn’t know Menchies tunred into a library. If you take a kid bring a muzzle.

My favorite FroYo dress-​up shop so far. Had my first experience with a shop in Dallas. When they started showing up everywhere here in Houston, I got excited. Wish it weren’t so pricey for a family of 6, but it’s a fun treat when we can afford to splurge.
I like Menchies most because the yogurt has a great flavor and texture. The flavors they offer are more desired and the candy dispensing idea is brilliant! I feel better about getting toppings since they’ve not been fondled by germy kid fingers. :-D Hint, Hint. I put that in there for those parents that need to watch their kids more closely at the ‘pail-​n-​shovel style topping’ froyo shops. ;) Thank you.
The staff at this Menchie’s are really nice and helpful, too!

Coming from Dallas where there is literally a yogurt or «fro yo» place on every block, I decided to come here and see what the deal was. There aren’t that many flavors but then again they don’t have that much competition so oh well. The yogurt was alright but some of mine was a little watery and needed to be slightly thicker.
All in all the place was just a-​ok. I wouldn’t come back unless I had a guest with me who really wanted yogurt. Quality was average. Toppings average. Service was nice — the employees were friendly and helpful. Environment — geared towards children.

They have the best tasting Fro-​Yo. Different flavors which you can sample. All the toppings that you could ever want. Customer service is great.

I don’t eat much ice cream and frozen yogurt and this was ok. The girls that work there are really sweet and the yogurt was good. I got a waffle cone bowl but it was extremely stale and not even slightly crisp. I tasted the samples and they were really crisp but the one I got must have been there a while.
Also, I was going to throw caution to the wind and throw some Reeses on top of my yogurt since I can afford that caloric-​ally (haha) but there were some little hands in front of me digging around in the Reeses and that didn’t seem as appealing to me anymore for some reason. :(
Probably the food and candy should be out of the reach of tiny hands who can’t resist them. I left with my sweet tooth satisfied for a little while so that was good.

I. Love. Menchie’s. By far the best frozen yogurt chain out there! Peanut butter, red velvet and cake batter are my favorite flavors. I don’t know how they do it, but their product is so much better an any other fro yo place I have tried.

I like the self-​serve concept of this place. When I came in the employees asked if it was our first time time in the store. I said it was my first time but my son and daughter had been before. They proceeded in telling me about the variety of yogurts and toppings and encouraged us to try the different yogurts. The flavors were great especially the peanut butter. There is an option to get a swirl of the yogurts that are side by side. You get a cup and select your yogurt and toppings. I stayed with my usual chocolate and vanilla. The toppings i choose were coconut, pecans, fresh strawberries, pineapple, chocolate sauce and if you can believe — peanut butter sauce!!! WOW, this is a winner. The employees were friendly. There is a patio outside. They are open late on Friday and Sat — until 11:00pm.

Great place for kids. Adults, too ;) Staff is very helpful, friendly, and sweet to kids. Great yogurt flavors and so many toppings! Try the popping boba!

I have visited menchies 3 times now since it has opened. First of all, their location represents the ultimate in convenience. I shop at HEB often, so I can take the kids (2 and 12) before or after a shopping trip and keep them happy.
As far as flavors of yogurt, I prefer standard vanilla and chocolate with a variety of toppings. But thanks to their encouragement to sample them all, I have found others I like as well.
The fruit is fresh and tasty and makes me not feel completely bad about overstuffing myself with as much frozen yogurt as will fit in my cup.
Having said all that, I haven’t even reached the best aspect of this place: the staff. Every single time I walk in there, they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They even gave my 2 year old daughter high fives and stickers because she successully used their potty after eating her yogurt.
We’ll keep going back. Thanks, Menchies!

Menchie’s offers self service frozen yogurt with a wide variety of toppings including cereal and fresh fruit. The interior is very colorful and brightly lit. The ambiance is cheerful. The employees are cheerful and helpful. Sampling is encouraged. My daughter loves it. She says, «Awesome place! So many flavors and toppings!»
