Today was our third time here. This is a Summit County favorite for us, especially for happy hour. Tonight, we had salad, soup, truffle fries, pizza and tiramisu. The truffle fries were the best and everything else was pretty decent. Of note, the Cesar Salad wasn’t made with Hearts of Romaine, but rather some other kind of lettuce. Not sure you can call that a «Cesar». Regardless, the location is great for people watching the service is always friendly, if a bit slow at times. A great value for Frisco. We will keep coming back!

Just go here! Don’t ask why, just do it. I’ve been here twice on recent trips to Frisco and we love this place. Both times were on our girls’ weekend,(I’m sensing a trend) and we have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. On our first visit, we sat at a table that was near a window that faced Main Street and we enjoyed looking out on the town while dining in the middle of winter. This time, we were up in the summer time, during the Arts Festival and at 6 pm, this place was packed with a wait list. While waiting, we bellied up to the bar to order wine. The bar tender told us he could serve the whole menu at the bar and we decided, «Why wait?» Our bartender got busy and wasn’t always able to give us his complete attention and things were a little slow, but honestly, the food was so good, it didn’t even matter. They have an extensive wine list with Happy Hour specials which extend to the weekend. An Italian food menu with many appetizing selections. I’m pretty sure I had a pizza the first time and had apps this time and amongst the four of us, we all shared and tasted each others meals. Along with the flowing wine, it was quite the fun time and wonderful restaurant.

First be prepared to pay high prices for average quality entrees. Anticipate having a long wait and poor service. Closely check your bill for overcharges. Don’t complain to the manger or owner it won’t do any good. In fact you will only get insulted! On a Thursday night, my family(4 adults, a child and toddler) were quickly seated as were numerous other similarly sized parties. We watch for over an hour while those patrons ate their dinners and left. When we asked for an explanation our server called the manger to our table. He made no apologies; but instead arrogantly blamed us for ordering too many pizzas for the kitchen to handle. Really five personal pizzas were too much for their highly hyped chef’s staff to handle! He also blamed the server for not telling us the size of our order would cause a long wait. Wow, I’ve never been in a restaurant that asked me to limit my selections because of an inefficient kitchen. When our dinner arrived I was surprised to see my «artisan pizza» was piled high with uncooked spinach. Instead of enduring another long wait, I ate my tasteless«spinach salad» before eating a mediocre crust lightly covered with gorgonzola and bacon. When I asked for our check I also asked to speak with the owner. I listened to her apologies instead of reviewing the check. Big mistake. The next day I reviewed it only to find we were charged for an entire bottle instead of my wife’s glass of wine. When I called the owner to complain about the overcharging, poor service and arrogant manager she apologized again; but, never offered any compensation for a $ 130+ pizza dinner we rushed to eat and didn’t enjoy. Later the manager called not to apologize but to make worthless excuses for what happened. He ended the phone call by shouting«go f*** yourself» before hanging up. There are many fine restaurants in Frisco. You’d be smart to avoid Bagalis.

I would totally give this place 5 stars(or more!) for the food! In fact, we left a tip with the owner for the kitchen. However, our server, Mario, had the personality of a wet rag, barely speaking to and and even avoiding eye contact during his introduction; and he provided what was quite possibly the least attentive service we’ve ever experienced. The table next to us was also complaining to each other about him never being around. Back to the outstanding food: my husband had the duck 3 ways and I had the beef short rib. Both were amazing! We finished with the trio of crème brûlée and the nutella pie — WOW! Rarely can you find a restaurant where the desserts hold their own against the rest of the menu. This place is exceptional! We’ll be back with the caveat that, if Mario is still employed there, we will specify our desire for any other server but him.

Savory food, from bread to appetizer to main course. We unfortunately were too stuffed for dessert. Service was excellent. The ambiance was perfect for date night.

By far one of our favorite go to places in Summit! Truffle fries and short rib for appetizer is a must, butternut squash lasagna is beyond delicious, and pretty much anything for dessert(tiramisu being my all time fave!) We come here at least once a month, whether it is to celebrate a special occasion, to dine with friends, or just because! 5 stars all around!

Outstanding. Risotto with scrimp was beautiful. Chicken over brick was superb. Also tasted the fettuccine with sausage. Spicy! Cheesecake was unique and wonderful.

Amazing! Shocked to see so many low reviews. We come here all the time, and the food is delicious, wait staff fantastic, and ambiance is wonderful. Love it. Sorry haters.

Food and service here is great, there is a relatively wide variety of dishes to choose from as well. We had the PEI mussels, the arugula w tri-colored beat salad, and the Berkshire pork loin rack, delicious. Also topped the dinner off with the Mango bread pudding and vanilla ice cream streusel and it was amazing.

Had a Thanksgiving Dinner here. All the usual flavors, decently prepared. Portions were extremely stingy although price was not. In spite of reservations we were told we had to sit at a community table, even though the restaurant was mostly empty for the duration of our stay. Service was lacking, requiring us to ask for basics… Bread, pepper, even flatware, all with much delay even after food was served. Disappointing at best.

Exclellent and high-standard in every way — warm greeting, great ambiance and the happy hour is to live for. Great wine with the cheese and meat platters — also the pizzas could not have been tastier or more up-scale chef prepared and plated plates. The Olathe corn soup is 10 stars. In the Rockies for a week we will certainly take the Breck bus to Frisco for more yums.

Driving from the water rafting fields of the Arkansas River back to Denver, my buddies and I stumbled across Frisco and this place, Bagalis. It looked like an expensive version of Olive Garden, which I don’t care much more. But whatever, it was 3PM and some restaurant we tried was closed so we ended up here, a bit more expensive than what we would want to spend for a post-lunch /pre-dinner meal… BUT it was totally worth it – I’m cheap like a poorer version of Scrouge McDuck. We ordered the: 1. Truffle fries: Dayum. So good. It reminds me of Houston’s fries(an upscale chained restaurant). Shoe string fries(beast!) with shredded cheese on top and«truffles.» I don’t know understand the truffle thing but it was still epic. 2. PEI Mussels — pretty good. I’m not a mussel fan but my buddy who is a seafood guru thought they were pretty legit so bam, good. 3&4: I can’t remember if we ordered a pizza and/or beef/duck — it’s been two months and I’m trying to recall to no avail. Doesn’t matter. They were pretty awesome, lol. I am not one to give a Five-star and it’s hard to judge based on ONE experience, but for the experience, I shall give it a FIVE. Just get ready to pay $ 15 – 20 per plate in the afternoon.

Limited selection of menu. However with the food selection they do have, it was a good selection. Great food and ambiance. Ordered mountain rocky trout with a Pinot. Waitress was pleasant and sweet. Sour dough bread served warm and fresh. overall great experience.

Yum! Seriously Bagalis is awesome. I was wandering around Frisco with my fiancé, his mother, and his very picky younger sister around lunch time on Monday. We all agreed it was time for lunch and found ourselves at Bagalis. The décor is super cute and very welcoming. Service is impeccible. The food? OMG! Seriously drool worthy! I got the trout with cherry sauce, asparagus, and herbed gnocchi. The trout was cooked perfectly as were the gnocchi. I wish there were more of these little gems as I could have eaten a plate of them by themselves. The asparagus was a little tough for my liking. Prices are up there(4 of us for lunch came to $ 60 before tip). I definitely can’t afford to come here every time I am in Frisco, but I will definitely try to come back.

We are vegetarians and there were very few items on the menu we could eat. Split the margarita pizza and corsara fettuccini. Arugula salad was really good. I also had the chocolate mousse for dessert and that was delicious. Couldn’t finish it!

This was our first visit for Happy Hour which was daily(closed on Tuesdays) from 4:30−6pm. They were located on the corner of 3rd Ave/E Main Street in Frisco, CO. They had ½ price appetizers, pizza, well drinks, and beer at the bar. My husband started with the Celery Root Soup and I ordered the Caesar Salad. The soup was warm, not piping hot. It was a cheese stock with apples. The salad had orange segments, which was unusual for a Caesar. The romaine was crisp and it wasn’t overdressed. We then shared the Prosciutto di Parma Pizza(Tomato, Mozzarella, Garlic, Prosciutto, Arugula). The server grated fresh parmesan on top and gave us a shaker of red pepper flakes. The crust was crispy and chewy, just the way I like it. The server said the pizza was about an 8″ personal size, but with the soup and salad it was plenty of food. They also offer gluten-free pizzas. This was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, maybe even better than Adriano’s Bistro in Dillon(and the Bestia Pizza there was over the top). We also ordered the Truffle Fries. They were shoestring cut fries sprinkled with finely shredded Grana Padano cheese served with Chimayo Mayo. The fries were crisp on the ouside and tender on the inside. It was a very large portion served in a bowl, but we finished everything. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour!
