Firehouse Subs

Excellent subs. Had an Italian on wheat and it was perfect! Wife had a meatball added jalapeños and was delicious as well! Kids subs are perfect size for up to about 10 year olds. Probably my new favorite sub place!

Went there after the movies as we have had a few times and it’s not worth the price. The sandwiches seem to get less and less for the price. My daughter’s kid meal had more meat on it then my wife, s and mine sub. She had the steamer and I had the smokehouse beef and cheddar and both were all bread. If they continue with this, I will not have my family go there again. Too much money for bread. This use to be a good place but this time and the time a few weeks ago was terrible.

Friendly staff. Great sandwiches. Short wait times. I usually phone in my order. Take out there once a week for dinner.

This has to be one of the dirtiest sandwich shops I’ve ever been to. Everything from the drink machines to the sauce table was covered in grease and finger prints. I showed up 15 minutes before close and was treated like I was a burden. I would not recommend this Firehouse and I hope the management spends an entire day to clean the restaurant.

Pains me to give them 1 star. The subs that I ordered were awesome. BUT, the speed and service were awful. They were very rude and when I ordered they told me it would «be a while». There were only 3 people ahead of me. I know that there are to go orders as well that they have to make, but during the 25 minutes it took to make my 2 subs I ordered, there were only 5 other subs made. The other 3 people ahead of me were getting pretty mad as well. The 3 guys were just joking around the entire time. I mean, we can see what you are doing since we can see you prepare the subs. Be a bit more professional. I will go to another location and Definitely won’t be back to this one.

You can’t go wrong with a Hook and Ladder sub. In the summer, they do a pulled pork sandwich that is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I always enjoy coming here. I only wish the one in Little Elm was still open. It was closer to my house.

Nice place for a good, healthy lunch. The staff was nice and the place was okay. But, The table was unclean. The sub came in a bit later Bcoz of the crowd. I couldn’t finish it. But, they gave me a to-​go box for it so I wouldn’t waste it.

They have good subs. I like the atmosphere. Customer service is great.

Firehouse Subs is one of my favorite sub places. The bread is always so soft and the ingredients are always so fresh. I normally stick to building my own turkey sandwich on wheat, and I’ve always been extremely pleased. I hope there are plans to expand this restaurant to more locations in Dallas. It seems that North Dallas is the only place I can seem to find one of these to enjoy.

I can’t go to a event at Toyota Stadium without going across the street to Firehouse and getting a great sub with great service.

Pretty good! We had our first visit here about 2 weeks ago, went on a Monday during the lunch hour. It was a little crowded, but they were quick. The gentleman at the front counter was very friendly and offered suggestions after we told him it was our first visit. He even suggested we get the large and split it after we told him we’d be ordering the same sandwich. Saved us about $ 4! Awesome. We had the brisket sandwich on wheat. It was served in 2 separate baskets, which was nice. But the weird thing. it wasn’t cut in half! One half was maybe 3 inches long, and the other side was 9. lol. No biggie, just strange. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. I tried the cherry limeade, I recommend not getting that! It was pure syrup, no carbonation. The good thing is they have one of those fancy coke machines where you can customize your drink. We will be back!

My wife and I went there for dinner this evening and the food was great. I have the Pulled Pork and Slaw Sandwich and it was excellent. My wife was a little disappointed because they would not put her sandwich on a bed of lettuce instead of bread. We go to several sub shops and they all do this. Not very accommodating if you ask me for something that is so easy to do. Even if they charge extra for it that is fine but to just refuse was unacceptable.

A family favorite! Great sandwiches, friendly and courteous staff and my son loves anything related to fire trucks. Only drawback is the parking when there’s an event at the stadium. Would love a dedicated parking spot for to go orders!

The meatball sub is phenomenal. Got it on wheat bread, couldn’t be happier. Ordered online, and they had it ready for me when I showed up. In and out fast. Good stuff.

Love this place. Very clean and the staff are always super friendly. Steve at this location has to be the friendliest person I’ve ever encountered. We will be back

First time there today. Great service. Great Food. I love their bacon turkey hot sub. Chipotle sauce with crispy bacon, a thick stack of smoked turkey meat and fresh lettuce. It is much fresher than Subway. No flies flying around and no foul mop water smell in the firehouse. I love their soda machine where you can pick from different varieties of coke products. Excellent investment! I was brave enough to try some of their hot sauce on the counter. I forgot what I got but they were both unique and spicy.
My kids love that place too. They got their kids combo and the meatball sandwich was hot and delicious. Thank you for the great service. I will definitely go back to try different sub next time.

I often walk over to this location to grab a sandwich during a busy work day. I love a turkey sandwich and they make a pretty good one! The staff at this location are always friendly, greet me usually by name when I come in and are quick to make my sandwich. The owner of this location is usually in the restaurant as well and he is always very welcoming and wants to make sure everyone is happy with their meal and service. I always order the turkey with provolone, chips, and a drink and it is always good. The only negative I would say is the sandwich is sometimes too big!

If you do not eat your sub there, you aren’t experiencing Firehouse at its best. As soon as they give it to you, its quality begins to diminish. Trust me. I’ve had far too many of their subs to go, due to lack of time. This review will cover every sub I’ve had, just to give guidance on your next adventure to sandwich town. (*I’ve already copy-​written the name Sandwich Town for my future deli, so don’t even think about it.)
(++) The STEAK & CHEESE was my original go-​to sub. Very good. Fairly simple and straight forward. A cheese-​steak w/​o the wiz. I’ve recently been hooked on the FIREHOUSE HERO. Awesome versatile sandwich that I find myself changing every time. «Cheddar» «No mayo or mustard, add BBQ sauce.»
(+) I’ve also tried the CLUB ON A SUB and the KING’S HAWAIIN PORK & SLAW SANDWICH.
(-) Both the CLUB ON A SUB and the KING’S HAWAIIN PORK & SLAW sandwiches were too salty. The bacon on the club is limp (advertised to be crispy) and the pulled pork on the pork & slaw is that of a spiral ham. Its not the pulled pork you’re use to.

Having worked in a sub-​shop before I’m very critical of other places. I have a few friends that like Fire House Subs so I thought I’d check it out.
I ordered online, don’t judge me. So I went to pickup my food. The place was well decorated. I was greeted twice and found that to be pleasant.
I ordered the Firehouse Hero, it has what I like! As a sandwich that cost me almost $ 6, it was small. NOT thrilled with that. The flavor was good, but it was simple and all ingredients I can get at any sub shop. It was good though.
Would I proclaim this to be the greatest, hell no. Is it terrible? Hell no, I’ll likely go back and get something else.
