Was in desperate need of a trim, my regular hairstylist at another location was not available so I scheduled an appointment with Hair Color Studios online. Showed up for my appointment 15 mins early and the doors were locked, lights off. Waited 20 – 25 mins and called after the scheduled appointment time, no one showed up no one answered. Crappy way to run a business!

Just stopped by at 4:50 p.m. to see if I could sit in for a quick trim. The salon doesn’t close until 6 p.m. and was told that they haven’t had a single person in all day. The receptionist lady had to call the hairstylist who was out of the building, to see if she could be back in time to trim my hair and she said that she couldn’t make it back in time. They did not have a single person walk in all day and I had $ 100 cash to spend and was turned away. Bad service. no wonder this place is always dead. Won’t be back.

I went today and had my hair done by Jessica. I went for a bold new red and a different style. She was awesome and I love my new do. I’ve gotten lots of compliments and feel great. She was also very sweet and I feel like the price was just right for what I got done. It was a great experience overall!

This had to be the worst hair experience ever. I have waited 6 months to post this review in the hopes that they would make this better. I took my 16 year old daughter in for a partial highlight to break up the root area. I specifically told Michael it was just for the roots and that I preferred a beige-​champagne tone. I left and when I had not heard from them in 3 hours I returned to find my daughter in tears and her entire head dyed some Barbie platinum color with orange-​pink roots and a couple of brown (?) spots. I called the owner that night and left a message. She called the next day and apologized and asked me to send pictures. I did (including the time stamp) and Michael denied he did it, even though he was in the pics. He said we had gone home and done the color ourselves to get a refund. She accidentally included me in on their text convo in which they were laughing about the results. She promised a full refund and a basket of hair products to help reduce the damage. Nope. Called 5 times and each time she neither returned my call or said she was on vacation. It took me 3 trips to another salon to fix this problem to a tune of over $ 800. Beware. I have never posted a negative review, but this was awful!!! A pic is on my profile of the roots.

I go to Hair Color Studios for my color. They use Yogurt based color that covers my grey completely. My hair is softer and shinier than is has ever been. If you like amazing color that is gentile and natural go there!

Bought a groupon coupon for a shampoo, cut, style, and Moroccan oil hair treatment for $ 29 and it was worth every penny, even more! Booking was very easy and Angela is amazing! I showed her a photo of what I wanted. I didn’t want it as short as the photo, so she worked with me throughout every step of the process to get as close to what I wanted as possible. I absolutely love the outcome! Not sure why people are complainting about the price; It’s way cheaper than most high-​end places, but isn’t a cheap, you-​get-​what-​you-​pay-​for salon in a Wal-​Mart. Everyone is super friendly and the studio is very nice inside. I recommend Angela for anyone looking for an attentive, experienced hair stylist! Will definitely be back! Couldn’t be happier!

I was very satisfied with my experience here. I used a $ 75 Groupon that allotted for: wash, color, full highlights, and a Moroccan Oil treatment. My stylist Steph was very nice and paid attention to my needs. I was served a glass of wine during my treatment and didn’t feel pressured or hassled into conversation, which sometimes happens during hair appointments.
My highlights were done in a timely manner, soon followed by the shampoo and conditioning treatment. I have to say — the experience of laying in that chair with my head in the basin was the most comfortable experience I have ever had in a salon. Usually my neck hurts during that experience but here I was totally comfortable.
My haircut was the last step in the process, and I’m thrilled with the results. Steph gave me exactly the haircut I wanted and then styled it perfectly. I will definitely be back. :)

I hate writing reviews but seeing these other bad reviews I am going to defend these girls. I have been using Lindsay for it feels like forever now. She is amazing, I have been dying my hair forever and always changing it. She is creative and helps me figure out what I want and makes it come true. I am going to see her tomorrow to get my hair done again. I have never had a rude encounter with the owner or anyone in there. I see tons of people in there getting their hair done who leave this place more than satisfied. I know people will want to come on here and say that I work for these people or am a best friend, I am not I stated coming to this place because a flyer was left on my car, and did not know any of these girls. I can’t say everyone is great because they haven’t all done my hair but I will continue to see Lindsay

I had booked this salon for wash and style and updo. Seemed like a nice place. They offered a free consult prior to appointment.
Well, the time came for the stylists to do their magic. Guess what, there is no magic in their skills. I had made 4 appointments. They took over 1.5hrs and no one was happy with what style they got. Since, they were visiting from out of town, nobody said anything except the one who asked for updo and all she got was a few strands pinned up and nothing else. Everyone came home and redid their hair and looked a lot better than when they came from the salon!!!
Needless to say, if they can’t style — then how can they be credible enough to cut hair!!!
The only reason I gave one star even was b/​c my family said they were atleast friendly. But their work is useless!
Even when I called to let them know of this and that they never honored the discount we were supposed to get, the lady just defended the salon and wasn’t willing to listen or give the credit back. Sad that they charged for services that were never done right!
Don’t go here!!! They say they have skills, but I wouldn’t risk it!!!

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Not only was the price over the top, but my hair came out dark and orange when I requested to be an icy blonde. I had a rebuttle come back from the hair stylist saying that money must be the issue on why I was dissatisfied. Honestly, money has never been the issue with me when I get my hair done, but when it doesn’t come out to the end result like it was discussed in the consultation, of course for $ 220 for highlights is going to be a crazy price.
Do your research first unlike me. I ended up going back to my normal stylist and spent the money for him to fix it (I must not be that strapped for cash).
