Just go to target or Walmart, I mean come on this place only and I mean ONLY have clothes seriously I mean at least sell stuff that is helpful and the music here is terrible.

I love this Kohl’s! Jack, manager, is super nice and wants the customer to be happy. JJ, on the other hand don’t really give a poop. If he doesn’t know the answer to your question or can’t figure the computer out, you lose. He will just blow you off. I had a $ 10 coupon and he couldn’t figure out why the computer wouldn’t accept it so he said it was only for online. I was supposed to get a $ 10 Kohl’s cash and since he couldn’t find the paper that slides into the printer he just blew it off and sent me away, saying he couldn’t find the paper! I told Jack about it one day, not knowing he was in management and he told me that the registers had been having trouble with that coupon all day and that JJ should have honored it.

I went in knowing that I would be shopping the clearance racks. I was not disappointed by my finds. However, when I got to the register, 4 out of the 5 items rung up incorrectly. I didn’t notice the error until I got in the car. I immediately went back into the store and was directed to the customer service desk. Carrie at the desk went out of her way to help me. She was able to simply void the original transaction and re-ring everything at the corrected prices. She was very pleasant and helpful. Her type of customer service was exemplary and I was very pleased by the time we were finished. My bill went from $ 109 down to $ 81!

Oh gosh, this place just doesn’t do it for me. Poor customer service. Prices are marked down in the closeout rack, then they get marked back up at the cash register, then they add the(30 percent off) coupon. Very sly number shifting going on. I had to argue the fact the price marked down is lower than the price they rang up at the register after applying my coupon. Slap me in the head for continuing to come back here.

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE ! Disrespected a customer right in front of me. I did speak with the manager of the store and he said he will talk to them. Just won’t go to this location anymore.

Not quite as nice as the one on McDermott Rd in my opinion, and driving on Preston can be a drag during the holidays. Like any other Kohl’s, being able to see through the mark up/mark down nonsense is necessary. Also, knowing how to «ask» the associates for discounts is part of the game. They seem to have this stash of coupons at the register that come out depending on how nice you are to them. Mostly, the 60−70% discount racks are nice to look through.

Review of checkout process only: Slooooow checkout. They offer everyone at checkout a Kohl’s charge card. If you say Yes, they take your application while everyone waits. I’m typing this as the person in front of us is holding up the line. It’s been 7 minutes. Tons of employees in the store milling around, but only one person checking people out. This occurs not just at this store, it is a problem at many Kohl’s stores I’ve been to.

Slooooooow checkout. However, that’s the design of the store, not the employees’ fault. The guy who did my checkout, JJ, was a fun person to talk to, and found me a coupon to give me a 20% discount. What a nice guy!

I love me some Kohl’s.but for some reason this location misses the mark. They recently renovated it, so it looks awesome… updated fitting rooms, restrooms, etc. but the selection isn’t there. I went the other day to look for some new work out shoes, and found a nice pair on display. I looked for my size, found it and opened up the box. no shoes! I figured they must be nearby or in the back. so I summoned an employee. She looked everywhere and said they must have been stolen. Umm, okay. So, I find another pair that looked decent, I find my size and grab the box and can already tell it’s empty. I tell her again, and she’s dumbfounded and suggests they were stolen as well. Yeah. I doubt these shoes decked out in security tags were stolen, it may have been more of a lazy department issue. Or if they were stolen, had to have been an employee. Weird experience. I never had a twilight zone experience such as this at the Plano McDermott location.

I love going to Kohl’s because I am guaranteed to find a good deal. There are ALWAYS sales on things, and on top of that almost always a coupon available on top of that. This location is usually pretty clean, which I appreciate when I am in a rush and need to find something quick. I went in just the other night and got two name brand sweaters, a dress, a pair of work slacks, a pair of shoes, and a tank top for about $ 175… I’ve paid more for the dress and a pair of shoes alone! The one and only complaint I have ever had about this location is the fact that the cashiers are usually kind of slow, and there is one older gentlemen who could use some serious lessons in the manners/friendliness department!

Decent department store and you can almost always get a deal. I don’t have Kohls card but it seems as though you can get an even better deal if you have one.(read: 20% off almost always!). This store is smaller than some other ones I have been in and it feels clean and mostly organized. Returns are easy even if you don’t have a receipt, just get store credit. Great spot to get kitchen and home stuff!

I went here shopping for my 11 year old daughter and here’s the scoop! The cloths for«Tweens» is spot on age appropriate and not too crazy in price. They had plenty of clothes in every size and actually had tidy racks and dressing rooms!(OMG say WHAT?!) My purchase was 45.00 so I was only 5 bucks away from qualifying for Kohls cash and you know what… they gave it to me anyways :) LOVEIT :)

I know I’m insane, but I decided to venture out for the Black Friday shopping madness to see if I could snag a few(or several) great deals. After all, I adopted a Salvation Army Angel this year so my dollar needs to stretch further. When I walked in, all I could hear and see was chaos. The alarm sensors were going off, the check-out line was almost a mile long, kids were tearing through the store unattended(or poorly attended), and all the goods seemed to be in disarray. Granted, it was Black Friday. I managed to shimmy my way through the juniors section and found some clothes for my angel, I tried to find a good winter coat but I didn’t have any luck with that item, I picked my way through the socks and undies to find the right sizes… and it took a lot of searching. Finally, when I was ready to check out, my cashier was off in her own little world. She looked like she had just come off a double shift at a hospital with no sleep in over 36 hours, she talked like a zombie and she left the sensor tag on the jeans I purchased. I understand that it was Black Friday, so I’ll excuse the behavior and disheveled store appearance. A lady I work with told me that the best time to hit up Kohl’s and find the best deals is after their advertised sales. Good to know!
