Updating my review from their opening about a year ago. The food and service are still very good, but prices seem to be higher. A chicken club sandwich with a side and a small fountain drink now is just under $ 10.00. On a Tuesday night at 6 pm the dining room is nearly empty. A few going through the drive-in. Somehow this concept may be a solution seeking a problem. Have prices put them in a tough spot?

Very clean and staff is friendly. Chicken nuggets an dipping sauces are awesome! If your looking for something better then Chick Fa la this is it and with out the ridiculously long thru line during lunch. They even have staff that check in on you during your meal which is uncommon for fast food. I also notic umbrellas by he door so they must help you to your car when it rains A+ idea. The fries are excellent and the chicken is excellent! Located off Preston not to far from 121 or the Mall

After finding this place in Murphy, TX last night, I decided to see if their was a closer one to take the whole family too. Frisch was it and it was just as good as the previous night. The same review applies: The nuggets are probably the best nuggets I’ve ever had. The fries were very flavorful. Try it after 7 pm and they have a $ 5 basket deal. You won’t be disappointed. As for my wife on this trip: She loved the Cali Club sandwich and fries. She also had to try the blueberry slaw and thought it was tasty. She wasn’t blown away by the chocolate malt(wasn’t worth the calories to her). Verdict: she would be happy to go back. Kids: They loved it and really enjoyed getting Yoo-Hoo with their meal as an added treat.

We have a problem Chick-fil-a… My family and I love this place! We’ve had the salad, tenders, and nuggets; all are delicious, fresh, and not greasy. The fries aren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they’re pretty good. The chicken on the salads is served warm, which makes it so much better. The sauces are delicious and I love that they’re homemade. I prefer the creamy garlic, sweet sriracha, or honey mustard… can’t go wrong with any, none seem to be too overbearing. I also dip my fries in the creamy garlic, which is yummy! PDQ’s «take» on kids meals is fantastic! They’re only $ 3.99 and they leave out the junk toys and bags that are usually much more trouble than they’re worth. Our kiddos are perfectly fine with nuggets, apples, and a drink without all the extra stuff. The lemonade is delicious… not too sweet. I would definitely recommend PDQ if you’re in the area and we’ll definitely be back often.

Came here due to the hype about their chicken nuggets, well I didn’t taste anything special about it. Place was packed but will not come back. At least I can say we have tried it.

Dropped by here for a late afternoon lunch via the drive-thru. It’s a fairly simple menu, revolving mostly around chicken tenders. I selected the spicy buffalo tenders sandwich and fries. The sandwich features two decently sized tenders on a brioche bun, with a nice buffalo/bleu cheese sauce and lettuce. Bun was good quality, and held up to the contents nicely. Chicken was crispy and fresh, although I could have used a little more zing in the sauce. Fries were somewhat small cut(but not shoestring) and served in a cup. They had a moderate crisp, rating probably above average for take out fries overall. The serving size is fairly generous as well. The meal was good on taste and value, definitely worth a try.

I have to go with 3.5 stars. Needed takeout for the hotel room. We both got the new Cali club which was good, but pretty bland till I added the sweet sirrachi sauce. Now we’re talking. Lots of sauce choices including new pepper gravy which I got for my fries. Have you ever got the end of a batch of fries? Lots of little pieces instead of big hearty delicious fries. That’s what I got. Oh well, somebody’s gonna get it, might as well be me. The place is very clean and the employees were great. Good fast food so we will be back.

First time trying it and it wasn’t bad. They got my order wrong when we were two of four people in the entire place, but whatever. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and my wife got the nuggets. Can someone please explain to me what the deal is with this phenomenon of the glazed fake looking buns? Is it supposed to be appetizing? It wasn’t bad. I personally prefer Raising Cane’s, but they were closed.

Wow. The chicken here is brilliantly breaded and spiced for a fast food chain. The chicken is high quality and juicy. It is not stringy or dry which is the big reason why a lot of people avoid fast food chicken places like this. PDQ delivers in taste, quality and I don’t feel guilty giving my kids this. My kids love this place so much that I use this place as a bargaining chip for them to behave or do chores. hah. Had the Buffalo Chicken Tender Sandwich which was a bit small but magnificent. One of the best or the best buffalo chicken sandwich I have had.

Pretty awesome Chicken Fingers. They feel much healthier than most tenders; however the taste doesn’t beat my love for Raising Canes, and I believe the prices are higher for the quantity. However, they do have a variety of sauces which is unique. We knocked a star off for service though. Our group came here near the end of prime lunch hour. After ordering, we waited for about 10 minutes before checking on our food. The employee informed us they ran out of cooked food and had to make a fresh batch for us ensuring we’d get fresh tenders and fries. Our fault for not checking as we grabbed our food and left, but we definitely did not get fresh food…

Yum, yum, yum! I’m honestly not a chicken tender kind of gal, but PDQ makes theirs so fresh and tasty, and you can feel confident you’re eating actual chicken. The breading is just right; crispy and flavored nicely without overwhelming the meat or tasting too greasy. They offer a variety of sauces. I love the creamy sriracha one(forget what they call it on their menu). It also goes amazingly with the fries. Drive thru is relatively quick and a good option for those of us with small children who are not in the right mood to eat a meal in public.

I’ve been here twice and I can’t say it’s all too great. As far as the chicken itself, I can tell it is much less greasy and less salty than it’s competitors but the flavor is lacking. And they gave me teeny tiny strips and loaded up my basket with more fries than I even needed. My husband got a sriracha sandwich and didn’t like it at all. He said it just had a bad flavor, but he did like the fries. All 7 pounds of them. My daughter loved it, but what kid doesn’t like chicken strips and fries. The pricing is pretty reasonable for the portion sizes. We also got milkshakes on our next visit and enjoyed those, very yummy. Overall, I don’t know that I’ll be back. def not one of my faves.

I enjoyed my visit! Nicely done fried chicken that’s not super greasy with some delicious fries. My favorite is the caramel apple with their house made cream, hmmm!

My second time trying their food in a couple weeks! And I definitely believe their chicken tenders are better than just about most other joints. I think if I had to choose between here and cane’s, I’d probably pick PDQ’s. Anyways! We were here for a Unilocal event so we got to try a little of everything: 1) started with a salad, pretty tasty, I’m not a fan of salad when I’m eating fried chicken but it wasn’t bad. 2) grilled chicken Sammy w bacon and avocado, very nice and flavorful. Everything is better with bacon. 3) fried chicken Sammy, maybe since there was pickle in there, it threw me off. Because I don’t typically like pickles. It’s not as good as chick fil a, but it’s not bad. 4) chicken tenders, aren’t as greasy as other places, but what makes it is that they have about 5 or 6 different dipping options, maybe more. Ketchup, garlic, buffalo, honey mustard, BBQ, siricha 5) fries — nothing special, not super crispy. Maybe my least favorite thing on the menu. 6) green apples w toffy– delicious 7) Oreo shake, really good, good value at around $ 3.50 Check this place out in Frisco!

This would be my second time I get to try PDQ food. The first time was at the Unilocal’s summer event. There’s not a lot of PDQ around. I’m glad they are building one a couple miles away from where I live. We get to try their grilled chicken salad with blueberry– ginger vinaigrette, Crispy Chicken(or was it Turkey?) sandwich, Cali Club Chicken sandwich, fresh cut fries, fresh blueberry coleslaw, fresh apple slices with toffee dip, their freshly squeezed lemonade and of course all their sauces. Oh boy! everything was amazing, freshly made and pipping hot(chicken tenders). You really can taste the quality and freshness of the food. My nieces loved everything and that’s saying a lot for a 12 and 5 years old.

I first tried PDQ at Unilocal’s Summer Solstice event, and it was SO good. I loved the crispy chicken tenders and the choice of sauces. So we finally made it over to the restaurant itself to have another go. I smelled a really lovely fruity scent when we first entered, and I eventually figured out it’s from the fresh squeezed lemonade! I realized this after seeing an employee take a full box of juiced lemons to the back. I had to get a glass, because how often do you find fresh squeezed and in a fast-food like place? The lemonade is to die for. I’m not joking, if you need a refreshing drink, head to PDQ –right-now-! I ordered 6 chicken tenders and the bf got the 12 honey nuggets. The tenders were good and the buffalo bleu sauce was spicy and creamy just as I remembered it. We took our food to go, and the tenders weren’t as hot as they might have been, so keep that in mind. The nuggets were good but he did not think they tasted as if they’d been marinated in honey BBQ sauce as stated. Bleu cheese sauce was watery and not very good. The creamy garlic sauce wasn’t as flavorful as I remembered it either. All in all, I like these chicken tenders better than Raising Cane’s, but will probably only come when we’re already over in Frisco, rather than make a special trip.

The name alone is underwhelming. Prior to my visit I was imagining all the things PDQ stood for– Pretty Darn Quick? Please Don’t Quit?.. It really stands for People Dedicated to Quality. Snore. I really should knock off another star just for the banal name. Anyways, its mostly chicken fingers and fries kinda place. You stand in line, order at the counter, find a place to sit, and they call you when your food is ready. Chicken was pretty good, fries were pretty good. They have one of those fancy Coke machines that allow you to mix 2 million things together into one drink. I should also knock off another star because they don’t have gravy. I really CANNOT eat chicken fingers without gravy. This is TEXAS, we eat chicken with gravy(… or anything with gravy). They should change their name to People Serving You Chicken Without Gravy.

I would have to say this is like the«In-N-Out» of chicken. Simple, limited menu. Friendly service. You get your food fast. They have chicken (grilled or crispy aka fried) tenders, salad, and sandwiches – along with cookies, shakes, and homemade dipping sauces. Oh yeah, they have those fancy Coca-Cola machines with many choices of soda flavors. My fiancé got the chicken tenders combo. Although it was ok, he did say Chickfila was the«king of chicken.» I decided to order their crispy(fried) turkey sandwich. Tasted like chicken. Fries are soggy, but I like soggy fries so it didn’t bother me. Most hated it. Wished they gave us more options on sauces(as in put sauce pumps out instead of giving 1 small container of 1 sauce of your choice). Their shakes(we got a heath one) had very little chunks of heath in it. It was good, but not the best. I’m not a fried chicken fan or a chicken tenders fan. I rarely go to Chickfila or Canes so PDQ wouldn’t be the exception. If you love chicken, at least give this place a try.

This popped up on Unilocal as a suggestion when I was looking for sandwich places in the area. I pulled in through the drive thru and ordered a thanksgiving on a bun. It’s basically turkey, cranberry, and mayo on a ciabatta bun. The flavor of the patty was good and the toppings complemented the overall sandwich. They give you a lot of fries, but they do not survive a 10 minute back to work trip very well. They become this sort of soggy stale potato string. I would say proceed with caution on this one, I think maybe the dining in option may be better.

I’ve passed this establishment several times, so being the foodie that I am, I decided to visit PDQ. I was greeted by a nice girl, who assisted me with my order. They thank me for visiting and I’m out the door. I rush home because I am so hungry and ready to eat. HEREISMYPERSONALOPINIONOFTHEFOOD: I WASN’T IMPRESSEDATALL. The chicken tenders were just bland; no flavor whatsoever. The fries were even worse. They were very unappealing and cold. They also had ZERO flavor. When placing my order, they asked me which dipping sauce I would like; I opted for the sweet heat sauce, but once again, being the foodie that I am, it pretty much tasted like ranch dressing and hot sauce mixed together(possibly). I still ate the 4pc chicken tenders, but I actually had to go to my fridge and get some honey mustard out just so that the honey mustard would possibly add some flavor to them. Spent $ 8 bucks on this crap and half of it was thrown in the garbage. I should have followed my first mind and visited Chick-Fil-A instead. Sorry PDQ, but I will not be returning. EVER.
