Great fast service. On our vacation to Colorado, we came here two days straight for a quick morning breakfast before heading out to the slopes. Excellent value, no frills, quick service. I ordered the breakfast veggie burrito and small coffee for $ 7 flat. It was perfect! Others in my group ordered the chorizo burrito, bacon burrito, and ham bagel. Everyone was pleasantly satisfied!

Great coffee, superb service! Reminiscent of local coffee shops back home where you feel welcome from the time you walk in the door. Definitely a go-to place in my book!

My mom and I popped in here while walking around Frisco. The guy at the counter was super nice, and patient with us as we decided what to order. Our vanilla americanos we delicious. Smooth and not too sweet, like some syrups can be. The barista was also really nice and did a great job. I’d definitely make a stop in Frisco just to hit up this coffee shop, and if I lived there I think it would be my favorite hang out spot.

Grabbed a cup of coffee here upon getting into town. I stayed for a bit to sip on my coffee and then soon scooted out to check into my accommodations. The coffee though is meh. Not so great. It’s not great tasting and makes me question the quality. On the other hand, the space here is large and enough for a lot of people to hang out. It seems pretty comfy. Not wild about it, but if you’re conveniently close by and in need of caffeine it should fit the bill.

After walking past this place several times, I stopped in to get an iced coffee here one afternoon before a short road trip. It’s a cute, funky space with tables inside and out(and a cool water feature). I ordered my usual iced almond milk latte but with a bit of raspberry syrup in it(why not?). It was just under $ 5; pricy, but not really. A girl with fantastic, rainbow-colored dreadlocks took my order and handed it to me. But… they were out of straws… and made no effort to find me one. It was more like«oh well, here.» I found that odd. But I suppose if they’re out, they’re out. … So I went to a hot dog place a few doors down and picked up a straw from their dispenser. Happy to have a straw, I sipped my drink as I drove on to my next destination. It was good, but not amazing. But hey, iced coffee is iced coffee… Right?

Small local coffee shop in Frisco. Pretty much a simple place that offers coffee, tea, and some sandwiches. I had a soy hot chocolate. The first few sips were grainy, but once it settled down and cooled it was quite delicious. My SO had the Carmel macchiato and said it was good. The espresso didn’t taste burnt like Starbucks and it wasn’t as sweet. Give this place a try if you’re in the area.

Yeah this is me being nice. 3 stars because they are fast, coffee is good, and location. I drink coffee with whole milk. Yesterday they had King Super whole milk. Today no whole milk. Okay you ran out I can deal. So they allow unleashed dogs. Hey I get it– but I’m afraid when two dogs start barking at each other and go to bite. This landed me in the kitchen by my «flight» reaction. Oops sorry– the lady screamed at me and told me «that’s what dogs do!- now get out» Yeah lady that’s rude. Coffee I like– the people I will pass on.

When I rate a food service entity, it isn’t necessarily the food quality that enchants. Of course food quality matters; it’s a given it must pass muster. Often though I care more about one’s overall experience with the place, from the first step in the door — the smell, the sight, the sound, the feel, its placement of things, the vibe, smiling and friendly faces, the attitude, the grit, and the overall energy of the place. Rocky Mountain Coffee Roaster exudes cultural flavor of what Frisco and Breck are quintessentially about. Gotta love it.

Cute local place with good coffee and nice sitting area. The outdoor patio is super tiny but there isn’t much space which isn’t their fault. Overall yummy treats and good prices considering it is comparable to Charbucks and twice as delicious.

Great staff. Always a line here. Got a bagel breakfast sandwich that didn’t blow my mind, but I approve of the overall service/quality. Typical little coffee shop, nothing extravagant, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. Cool people also loitering around that were also friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this spot if you want to enjoy a warm drink on a cold morning in Frisco!

What a awesome coffee shop located right in the heart of main street Frisco… The owner and staff are super friendly and not only offer great coffee, but also are always willing to pass of tips and ideas to visitors… They offer great coffee with lots of daily specials and blends. If you want a special cup of coffee outside of the ordinary cup of joe make it a point to stop in here and get you some fresh brew you won’t be disappointed…

As I’m drinking a french press with beans I bought at Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters, I thought I might as well write a Unilocal review! While I was vacationing out in the mountains, my old roommate(who currently lives there) made me french presses every morning during my vacation. I blown away by the flavor in the roast and how tasty it was. Finally, on my last day of vacation, we visited the actual store. At the store they have a wall that has all of their roasts. I ended up buying a mix of snicker doodle beans and the Frisco medium roast. I’ve rationed out my supply and only allow 1 cup/day until my next visit. I wish I bought more! If you also visit the store, you need to order a flavored latte. They have so many different flavors. I tried their salted caramel and it was really fabulous. Not too sweet, but still had flavor!

This place was fab! After a truly disappointing time at The Log Cabin Café(blech), I walked a couple doors down to this place. There was a quiet guy playing guitar and singing outside(soothing) and the friendliest staff inside! My breakfast sandwich was sooooo good and my espresso was far above average. Definitely coming back!

Wow! This is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Their espresso is amazingly smooth as well. It seems like a real local hangout. They have rice, almond and coconut milk. Certainly the best coffee in Frisco. BTW: if you order it extra hot, watch out! Hottest damn cup I’ve ever had. Just the way I like it :)

5 stars when they have Bhakti Chai in stock(which is 20% of the time). Today they had no chai at all. Sad morning. We eat breakfast here every morning when we stay in Frisco. Bagel sandwiches or breakfast burritos — you can’t go wrong. The coffee is rated highly by my other half(I hate the stuff — all coffee). We buy their whole beans also. Snicker doodle is a treat(even I like the smell). Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff(at least in 2015 — 2014 had a really grumpy girl but I would be grumpy too if I got up early for work and my coworkers slept through their shifts).

I dunno why this place only has 3.5 stars… It’s a gem! Check out the gorgeous latte art photo on my 8 oz. whole milk latte. Atmosphere is cozy, cookies are fresh and tasty, coffee is yummy, we will be back!!!

Highly Recommended! One more polarized review! Looks like people either love this place or hate it. It’s in a tourist town so a lot of these reviews, like this one, are based on only one visit. I had excellent service from both women behind the counter. My bagel, unlike a coupla those in this list, was fresh & tasty — excellent. But what hooked me wasn’t food or service — it was the coffee. I don’t buy beans unless I’ve tried them brewed at the shop or at the roaster. That morning at Rocky Mountain they happened to have Columbian brewed and I tried it and was very pleasantly surprised. The first outstanding coffee since I moved back to Colorado. So I bought a pound of whole beans and I’m still savoring it. A quality Columbian that’s roasted perfectly. Kudos to the roaster! But yeah, how is it that the owner can’t insist on help better than that found by a lot of these Unilocalers? One local(a manager/waitress at a Breckenridge restaurant) told me that it comes with the territory. People that make themselves available to help out in places like this are in a ski town to have fun and most of them are just naturally«laid back» to a degree that isn’t conducive to being a quality employee. I’m not trying to say that it’s OK or that that is a reasonable excuse, but maybe there is some truth to it. But if you are a coffee snob and your’re in Frisco, I really recommend you try this place. They have multiple different roasts brewed for just about every taste, and you never know — you might fall in love with one, just like I did.
