Sawed Off Woodworks makes incredible cutting boards. My wife brought one home from the farmer’s market in Coppell. It was a small one. A very interesting looking checkerboard pattern. We used it for a few months for cheese and small kitchen work. I agreed, it was well crafted and it resisted stains and the finish stayed smooth and resilient to our sharp knives and strong arms. Later, she brought a big one home. And I mean, it’s big. it’s heavy. Same high quality as the first. A little more finishing touches like a drip/debri groove around the rim, some recesses to make it easy to grab with fingers, making lifting it easy, and a different pattern. Probably wouldn’t make sense to have those on the smaller one anyway. Would you believe she talked me into a 3rd? Me either, it didn’t take any convincing… goldilocks syndrome. This one’s just right, perfect size, not too large, not too small. All 3 were reasonably priced when compared to other brands. So now I have 3… and we use all 3, all the time. Such nice craftsmanship… We’ll probably have them for the rest of our lives.
