Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Needed some paint for a project I was doing, went to this location, the staff was very friendly, they ask u a out what ur doing, and what quality u want, how shiny and all, I will definitely be back …

This place is such a joke. The employees I encountered on both trips were not knowledgeable or even aware of their store setup. At bare minimum all employees need to be familiar with the place they are employed at. I would understand if someone was new and going through training but from conversations I was exposed to by the employees that was not the case for any of them.
I came in to look for wall paper and paint but the first guy that «helped» me couldn’t even find the wall paper book I was looking for. Some background, I called the previous day to ensure they had it at the store. I asked him to see if it had been checked out to which he came back to respond «it’s not shown in the computer but yea it must be checked out because it’s not here.» I’m sure that logic his supervisor would just love… I found the book on another shelf where it’s natural place was because it had its own display.
When I asked for help estimating how much wall paper and paint I needed he said he needed me to tell him. Well I wouldn’t have asked the question if I had known the answer. One of his coworkers was able to tell me and she couldn’t look up if it was in Stock while I was there. Not sure why but I was told they would call me.
They didn’t call me. I had to call and she placed the order without me even confirming I wanted it and without telling me the price. That was fine she canceled it for me without issue.
A few days later I came back to get wall paper and paint supplies. Another employee could help me with paint but when it came to wallpaper he said he didn’t know because «the wall paper guy just left.» So he proceeded to hand me a brochure and told me to buy everything listed on the supply list. –_​–
Will not be returning or purchasing from this place. Maybe another location is better and this is the terrible one to avoid. However, I’m not that naïve to assume so.

Employees are very knowledgeable, much more so than the North Frisco location. Sales are great and even when I miss the big ones they work with me on price.
