We bought in to the hype that the sleep number mattress would revolutionize our sleeping experience and solve all of our ills. Well after 4 weeks, we are sleeping worse than ever, but not to worry, they offer a 100% refund if you are not completely satisfied right? How could you go wrong with an iron clad guarantee like that right?
Well for starters, be prepared to pay much more than you would for a comparable Simmons or Serta. Then you will pay $ 169 for delivery and set up. Then when you end up not satisfied, you are then charged a $ 199 pick up fee. So let’s see, you overpay for the mattress by at least $ 500 then when you utilize your 100% refund you get what you paid less $ 169 less $ 199 so you basically pay them $ 370 to try their bed for a month. I think they have a great business model, renting bad beds at $ 370 per month, now who couldn’t make money with that model?
Anyway, unless you know… I mean completely know that their bed will work for you, don’t bother because you will spend more taking advantage of their guarantee then you would just buying another bed elsewhere.
I must say that after my wife and I sleeping poorly for the last few years I was really hoping that this would be the solution, but sadly it was less than a satisfying experience. Then add on top of that the fact that it is costing us $ 370 to get out of this mattress just leaves a bitter taste in ones mouth.
