Love it. Best Spicy Teriyaki chicken I ever had. Orange chicken taste great also. My kids eat all the vegetables! Better than Panda Exp !!

It wasn’t bad. The price is a little high; we got two kids bowls and two adults bowls(not plates) and it was $ 37. That’s really high for lunch at a fast casual. The problem is the up charge for stupid stuff; my kids got noodles, and they are identical to Panda Express yet here they are a dollar more. Cost aside, the food tasted pretty good. I got the chicken katsu and it was cooked nice. The veggies are tasty and you get a decent amount. It took awhile to get the order, and several customers complained of the wait. It was about 30 minutes from order to table. They only serve Pepsi which is a deal breaker for me. I might come back as they gave me a BoGo deal online. I’ll get it to go. I’m interested in the salmon and they have several low carb healthy options.

This was the most delicious fast food teriyaki I’ve had! If the food deliciousness was not enough, the service was outstanding. The best part is they have a very honest staff. I accidentally left my purse there while on a business trip. An hour after I had left they contacted me on Facebook to tell me that I left my purse. I got everything back untouched. To me honesty is the most important thing for a small business, and this place has it. A definite five stars!

Great service. Food is mediocre. Chicken average taste. Lots of rice. Small sides. Bit expensive for the quality.

If you’re looking for gourmet Asian cuisine, this ISNOT the place for you. I would closely describe this place as Panda Express’s twin sister — and Panda is the smarter of the two. I’m not giving this place a hard time – after all it gets four stars from me. I believe that anyone who rates this place under a 3 is confused on what Teriyaki Madness is really all about. It’s a quick Asian fix – it’s not exuberantly flavorful and it’s not top notch. I accept it as it is. If you’re a Panda Express fan, you would throughly enjoy this place. Get the groupon, totally worth it.

Tried this place a few nights ago and it was pretty good. Very nice staff. Easy to order. Lots of choices. Seems like the food took a little while to arrive but we were not disappointed when it came out. I got the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken and it was very flavorful. Maybe just a bit heavy on the salt but definitely very good! Teriyaki sauce was thicker than I usually like but it was still good! Cool atmosphere! Portions are HUGE! I got the medium bowl and finished the rest of it last night for dinner! The large bowl might feed me for a few days. Very good value! Took the kids and they liked it but did not love it. We will get them a rice dish next time and skip the noodles. Veggies were fantastic! Lots of drink choices! We will go back when on that side of town. Well done TM!!!

Tried it out for the 1st time because of a coupon. Service is great. Ordered a spicy teriyaki chicken with noodle and a teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Although the noodle is a bit greasy, the food taste good overall. I like that they have good amount of vegetable and vegetable cooks right. This is a new restaurant in Frisco area. I would come back again and hopefully the restaurant can keep it up.

Teriyaki chicken what can I say this is definitely a one of my pleasures and I love this place. Typical teriyaki chicken perfect remind me of my place back home called the Flame broiler. So any Californians that are in Frisco this place is not that bad the only thing is they don’t do are green onions here. One of the sales associates Kenny very helpful knows the menu very well. Always helpful .The the bowl is great with or without teriyaki sauce. And you have three options of rice white rice healthy brown rice and fried rice which is really pretty good. Honestly do yourself a favor give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Oh and come on people don’t forget to throw something in the kids tip jar every now then. Yes I am actually putting that in this review:)

My newest obsession. Since opening I have probably consistently ate here twice a week. It also doesn’t hurt that this is the closest non-fast food close to my house that I like. The food is always fresh and made to order. The portions are pretty big with generous amounts of protein, carbs and veggies. My go to choice is the spicy chicken teriyaki, instead of getting a side of vegetables I also do half rice and half vegetables, I just feel like they don’t have enough vegetables if you get a side and a bit too much rice for my liking. The restaurant is pretty small, so I prefer to take it to go. You don’t have to worry about your food getting cold, the boxes they use are awesome they keep your food hot for at least 15 minutes. My only complaint is that it does take a little long to get your food ready, but you cant complain when you’re getting fresh hot food. Overall, a very welcome addition to the dining option in this residential part of Frisco.

Tasty food in a fast and casual setting. They currently have a Groupon out for any 2 teriyaki bowls for $ 8. SOWORTHIT! First place your order at the counter. The menu is pretty limited but it’s got enough diversity. If you don’t like teriyaki they have other items like orange chicken, chicken katsu, or yakisoba noodles. BF and I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and teriyaki salmon bowls with the veggies and white rice. Portion is extremely generous and can easily be at least 2 meals. The spicy teriyaki was definitely spicy but the salmon proportion was way off. BF received more rice than fish, another filet would have been nice but the salmon was pretty dry that he had to add extra teriyaki sauce on it. We ordered the macaroni salad on the side which was really good! Not too much mayo and it actually had bits of chicken in it. I’m tempted to buy another Groupon!

Went to Teriyaki Madness for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. The staff was friendly and we didn’t wait to long for our food. I ordered the chicken yakisoba and it was very good… lots of veggies and chicken and the pottion size very large. Definitely enough for two. My husband ordered a beef teriyaki bowl and it was very tasty as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I checked out their menu online and thought it was a Chipotle-style restaurant model but I was wronnnnng. You build your bowl and they cook it to order in the back so expect to wait about 5 – 10 minutes for the food depending on how busy they are. You can choose to get a plate or bowl. You choose your meat: i.e.: beef, chicken, or spicy chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu and a couple of other choices. You choose your base: white or brown rice, veggies(low carb option), or yakisoba noodles. Plate, bowl, what’s the diff? Plate you get two sides. Bowl you get a side of veggies. The food was tasty and the portions were pretty good. The family liked the chicken katsu and the spicy teriyaki the best. The veggie base is what other people have been complaining about– it’s basically a bed of cabbage with some zucchini sprinkled in. All in all, not bad. It’s like Panda Express except with less options. I guess that sounds bad, but I like Panda Express and sometimes less options makes it easier. It’s next to the Starbucks so naturally there are only one or two parking spots open in the already limited parking lot. You can always park behind the building and walk those calories off.

I’ve only been to Teriyaki Madness a couple of times so far, but I’ve been pleased with it. The first time I got the combo plate with orange chicken, beef teriyaki and white rice, with a green salad and an order of potstickers. Everything I ordered was good, the beef wasn’t what I expected(the sauce wasn’t all over it like it is with chicken, but it was served on the side). Hubs had the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with an egg roll and he enjoyed it. I tried his spicy chicken teriyaki and it was tasty! My next visit I got orange chicken and chicken teriyaki with noodles and macaroni salad — with an extra green salad. This visit my salad wasn’t up to par(lettuce was soggy and clear), but they had only been open a couple days so I’ll let them slide on this, but if it happens again… I’ll update my review. The noodles were very tasty and I enjoyed the macaroni salad as well. I’ll be back soon!

I’m not quite sure what happened here but my food tasted like they used spaghetti noodles and put spaghetti sauce on it. They mixed it with teriyaki chicken and sauce. gross! Ps. I paid 10 dollars for this madness and waited 20 minutes for a To Go order.

If they don’t fix the speed, they won’t survive. I went because it was as close to a Hawaiian-style plate lunch as I can get around here.(Two scoops plain white rice, one scoop macaroni salad, and some sort of meat.) The teri beef was pretty good, but dry – and took over 20 minutes. My sons were about to go crazy, sitting there that long. They ate the orange chicken(certainly not the best thing to order at a nominally Japanese restaurant) and liked it, but they thought the fried rice(again, not something to order at a Japanese place) was terrible compared to Pei Wei. They also tried the noodles which they liked, but they think Panda’s noodles are better and you eat in Panda within 60 seconds of walking in the door. So I’ll go back alone for lunch sometime – calling ahead to order, as nobody’s got 20 minutes to sit around – to give it a second try. YMMV. Oh, and it’s a Pepsi restaurant. So BYODietCoke. UPDATE04SEP2015: Got a coupon so went back for a second try. Food same as last time(pretty good, just not good enough for the wait). But because we waited so long they surprised us by bringing us a free shrimp tempura, which tasted pretty good. Way too much breading, but crispy and the sauce was good. Still, nice of them to acknowledge the long wait. Also, we used two coupons at one time, which was technically against the printed rules, and they didn’t say anything. No objection whatsoever. That is my litmus test for marketing effectiveness – that they bend a bit during promotions intended to drive trial by new customers. Because the worst thing they could do is be jerky to somebody there for the first time brought in by a coupon they are getting heat about. So A+ for managing my coupon experience well. Now they need to work on the speed.

Came in because we had a coupon and it’s close to our house. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t very good. You know those places in the mall that hand samples? This place could fit right in, but is higher priced. I will probably not ever come back.

Oh man, get it together Teriyaki Madness! The Good: –Low carb option available(all veggies, no rice) –Brown rice option available The Bad: –Walked in and the entire staff was in the kitchen. Zero of them acknowledged me until one stepped out behind the register to give someone else a to-go bag. –Was warned AFTER ordering & paying for the chicken katsu that it *might* take 20 minutes(TM staff: it is not a «warning» if you tell the customer about the wait AFTER I’ve paid. Give me a chance to change my order if I don’t want to wait 20 minutes for fast casual). –Low carb bowl was 90% cabbage with a few sad pieces of zucchini and broccoli and a stray onion here and there. The Okay: –20 minute wait ended up being 10. But you know what? I’ve never had to wait 10 minutes at Panda Express and their food, for what this type of place is, is better. –Chicken katsu was edible. I will go back to try one of the actual teriyaki dishes, but only because I just got a BOGO coupon in the mail.

As a former Seattle resident who was completely addicted to Teriyaki, my hopes were very high for this place. This cuisine is frighteningly absent from the North Texas food landscape… until now. My teriyaki fan boy had a complete foodgasm here! The spicy chicken is near perfection! It’s not covered in a spicy sauce, the chicken is marinated and cooked in seasonings that explode with flavor fireworks in your mouth. It’s a slow burn that builds to flavortown nirvana… hey, they were from Seattle too ;). The teriyaki sauce is just the right sweetness. The chicken Katsu with the Katsu sauce is a sweet and vinegary delight. I’ve been here twice in 2 days. It’s a 20 minute drive from where I live, but the awesomeness that is Teriyaki Madness is worth the drive!

Epic, legit Teriyaki! I got one of the first bowls out of this place(I know a guy and LOVE teriyaki). See, I’m from the Northwest, the home of Teriyaki(look it up, a little place called Bento Dan’s started it all). Teriyaki Madness is the first place that’s got it right in North Texas that I’ve been to. No I’m not besties with the owner,(yet) but I probably will be after spending my paycheck here.
