$ 8 for a well drink… Moscow mule is just vodka and ginger beer and this place is ripping people off. Nvr going back. The burger was good tho. One star because I hate bars that price gauging drinks. other bars in Frisco charge $ 4 FYI

Again this restaurant was impressive! We had a small retirement party and the catering staff were outstanding. They helped me pick the right amount of food and were so patient with all my questions. Our guest of honor was very pleased with the service and the guests were «wowed» by the selection of food served.
The wait staff was excellent! She was attentive to all our needs and cheerfully responsive. Love this place!!!

Dudes, just don’t advertise being open until 2:00 am wed-​sat if you close at 12:00. It’s cool, I get it, it’s a slow night, but c’mon. Don’t do it unless you do it, you know?
As far as the review goes — place is cool. Local watering hole. Dogs allowed on the patio. Bands are fun, servers are nice and food is good. Just take the sign down. I get off at 12:00 am and will have to go elsewhere from now on – which kinda sucks.

Came here on a Friday to check out the band (live music Friday 9pm-​1am!). Decent selection of drinks, they have an all day special on Fridays for beers.
Good ambience, prompt service, place isn’t very big but nor should it be. Mid 30s-​40s crowd mostly, only had the cheese fries to munch on (good amount of cheese, not enough bacon?) but not mediocre by any means.
Would return and try the actual food!

I came in here before heading over to Toyota Stadium for Edgefest. It is great neighborhood bar. The server was friendly and helpful finding something to eat on the menu. I had the chicken nachos and they were good, but not amazing. It did the trick though, I was full before going to the concert. I will be back to try other things on the menu.

So I’ve been scouting out some hangouts for references (&$) this one the people are friendly prompt and now they are open till 2am w-​sat which is hard to find around here. I just wish all the bars works lower the shot prices (patron) $ 8 is a bit much. Only draw back is outside smoking… they need some kind of air mister something.

Live music after 9pm that does covers from then and now. Very chill vibe with specials on mixed drinks if you ask and local beers on tap. Comfortable seating and good atmosphere. Good service, good times. Definitely not a club but a neighborhood experience. Maybe more of a 30’s + crowd ;) We’ll be back!

Can’t complain about this place. Great atmosphere, service is good, just an overall friendly place… Oh, and by the way, they got them cheesy fries on lockdown! The best we ever had!

I don’t understand all of the positive reviews. I truly believe the positive reviews are people that work there or their friends. The few negative reviews are the only honest reviews about this place. Gross, Gross, Gross.

Won’t be back. Reviews were way way off. Said generous pours… Ours was week. Said they are known for their burgers? Cooked well but bland and no flavor. If I have to add salt and pepper to my meat then you’re not doing so well. Won’t be coming back. We know of other great dive bars that have great food and generous pours. The people that reviewed how great this place is must have been drunk and when you drink anything taste good. I live with a chef and maybe we have high standards in taste.

My best friend and I went out this past Thursday night to celebrate a recent event. I was not sure where I wanted to go, however, I did want to go somewhere that had cheap drinks, good food, and somewhere I have not been to yet. My friend looked on Unilocal,and saw The Frisco Bar had good reviews, so, that is where we went.
At first, I was all, what is this place, it is in a corner, and it is dark. However, when you go in, it has the sports bar feel, and is very welcoming. Our server was Dustin, and if you all go there, please ask for him. He was the best server ever. I informed him that we were there to celebrate an event, and he made sure to congratulate us and provide the best service
We went on a Thursday night, so, it was $ 5 vodka drinks. The food there was fresh and INCREDIBLE. If you want to play darts, poker, or table games, don’t worry, they have them there. Their music was on point. They even have a self-​served jukebox if you want to change the music to something you like.
If you want to go somewhere that has a great atmosphere, affordable food, and all around fun, go to The Frisco Bar.

The staff was nice. The crowd is a little older (40s+) me and my friends had 1 drink and left. (30 yrs old) good vibes and the country band was a nice touch tho

This is a great bar. It is mine and my wife’s go to place. They have everything, great food, great bands, awesome TVS for watching sports, darts, shuffle board, and not to mention texas holdem poker just about everyday. The staff is awesome, along with their service. We have made alot of friends here. Tony the owner is always there and will attend to anything you need. Thank You Frisco Bar for giving me such a great place to go to close to home! !!

Great staff.
The burgers are excellent juicy with lots of flavor — especially the Cajun burger so much seasoning!
They substituted the jalapeño with pico de gallo at my request and it was perfect hint of cilantro and fresh tomatoes not too much onion, definitely a palate pleaser.

My family have only been in Frisco for a brief time but my wife and I have visited The Frisco Bar on several occasions. If your truly looking for a laid back environment with solid bands on the weekends and a place the bartenders take the time to get to know you and your story, this is the place. Thank you Red and Josh for making us feel right at home!!!

I like coming here because the staff is always super friendly! It’s not really loud during the week, which is nice cause I like to come in just to have a drink before grocery shopping (Kroger is next door). I’ve never eaten anything here that wasn’t tasty. I mean it’s bar food, but it’s good bar food. I looooove that they will put a fried egg on your burger!!! Yummy. The atmosphere is cozy and there are lots of TVs. They have shuffleboard and darts, so I’m set :)

I’ve been coming here for years and this is definitely my favorite neighborhood bar in Frisco. The owner, Tony, is regularly there and accessible and chats with the regular customers and the staff doesn’t ever take too long to remember who you are on subsequent visits along with your name and favorite drink order.
There are daily food specials, live music on the weekends and poker on M, Tu, Th, Fr. All in all a fun spot with good service and great staff.
Ask for ‘The Kevin’ from bartender Josh. It isn’t on the menu, but my wife loves it.

This place is legit. Our friend recently started working here and kept talking about how much he loved his job. He went on and on about the quality of the food and the amazing, down-​to-​earth owners.
If someone loves their job that much, curiosity gives in and you have to check it out for yourself… which is what we did.
We ordered two purple jackies, which is the bartender’s creation and by doing so, unlocked the free appitizer from Unilocal.My hubby and I opted for the cheese fries. When the plate came out we were blown away by how much cheese and bacon were caked to the steak fries and the plate. They did not hold back. The fries were fresh, you could taste the difference. Hands down the best cheese fries I have had to date. Make sure to get a few sides of ranch!
My hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger and I ordered The Rancher. I choose sweet potato fries and he had a side of onion rings. Again, everything was fresh, even the bun for the burger.
In the end, I would rather spend a little more in order to have quality ingredients. However, at Frisco Bar and Grill, you don’t have to. The prices are already affordable.
We will be back. Frequently. So glad to find a restaurant that is doing something right.
Btw… Cody, the bartender/​manager, he is legit, too. Make sure to give him a hard time and an above average tip.
