I wanted to make a purchase with my GameStop credit card for my son’s birthday but I didn’t have the physical card, I called the GameStop credit card 1800 number and they told me no problem, just have the store call us from their phone and we would be happy to help you. The cashier Natsha Potoreiko said that she called her manager Neil Pendergast and he said they aren’t allowed to help me, that I need the physical card. The customer service agent I had on the phone for game stop credit card said that is not true, they are in fact allowed to to call and get my credit card number for me to make the purchase. I put the agent on the phone with Natatsha then she continued to argue with him about store policy. The agent said he does not understand why they would not help me but that is not store policy, they are lying or severely misinformed.
