Rick’s Auto Care & Tire Center

We discovered a nail in our tire after lunch and found Ricks on Unilocal.They repaired the tire in about 20 minutes at a reasonable cost and had a nice waiting room to boot. This is obviously a well-​run very popular family enterprise which I highly recommend.

Super friendly and helpful. Of course my flat happened on a business trip. They got me fixed up and on my way in a flash. I really appreciated it.

Dropped my car off for an oil change.
I paid for the oil change before it was done since they would be closed when I returned.
What a surprise it was to find an envelope left in the car with the receipt and over $ 5.00.
It turned out the oil change was less than what they originally charged and refunded me the difference.
They could have kept the money, I would have not known, but to be that honest to refund me the difference has to say something about this company.

Great shop and best around the north east. Tons of customers in and out daily and i will be going back for sure when i need something. Estimates was higher than job cost me and that was the first time ever a shop adjusted my bill and gave me money back. Thanks Jasper and team, keep the good work up.

I would not recommend going here. The only thing I liked about this place is that it’s a family run business. I brought my car here and they charged me an arm and a leg just to diagnose the problems (which in hindsight I should of gone to auto zone to get a free diagnosis). They charged me over $ 100 dollars to dx why my car window wasn’t working, change my oil, and weld part of my fanbelt which they told me was causing noise and I didn’t ask for). Dropped my car off in morning and took off work and 30 mins be4 they closed they told me I should get both my wheel bearings and hubs replaced in the back but I’d have to schedule another apt. This, they told me would cost $ 828 dollars and to have a window motor put in 1 window $ 327. I seeked 2 other opinions and both said only one wheel baring needed to be replaced (not two). I ended up getting the window and wheel baring fixed somewhere else (out if state unfortunately). But saved over $ 600 from what Rick’s auto was going to charge. My car’s running great now. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are a friend/​family and get a discount or you know enough about cars where you won’t get taken advantage of.

I love this company, the staff is very nice and friendly. They have a clean & comfortable waiting room, but will also give you a ride if you need to go somewhere. You can also drop you car off after hours, so they are very flexible. I also feel that they are honest and have fair rates and make sure that you understand everything. I highly recommend these guys and go to them for all my car needs. They also offer free tire rotations when you buy your tires from them.
