A Second Chance thrift store on Main Street is a good place to stop in and browse around if you are in the area anyway, but lately it’s not worth making a special trip. Children’s clothing items are often worn, there is little selection, and the adult clothing isn’t much better. Prices have come down in the past couple years as competition in the area increased(new charity thrift store on the same street, new consignment store across town) but still, $ 1.99 for a used t shirt form Kmart isn’t going to excite anyone. I have found a few household items and shoes there lately, as well as a couple books. I don’t mind browsing around if I have time to kill on Main Street waiting for my kids who are taking dance lessons or at art class. A good thing about this thrift store is that profits go to a charity that helps women in trouble, but the quality of the items still lacks.
