This restaurant is one of our all time favorites. The dinning room is beautiful with fantastic views of massive South Florida yachts. The service is always on point and the food is simply delicious.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. We had the absolute worst experience! The service is equivalent to what you would expect from a McDonalds, not a high class restaurant. Our servers name was LIONEL. If they haven’t fired him after our experience and you get him, be sure to ask for a new waiter. When one of our steaks was over cooked and we apologized but asked to send it back, he proceeded argued with us for about 5 minutes before taking it back. Then he incorrectly charged our cards and when we confronted him about the error, he actually started to yell at me. Everyone around us in the restaurant stopped and watched. His manager quickly stepped in and fixed the error. Classless and an absolute waste of hundreds of dollars.

While in Ft. Lauderdale, I was looking for a fine seafood restaurant, and this establishment was recommended to me by the B Ocean Hotel concierge. A great referral it was, exceeding even my high expectations. Situated beside the waterfront of the New River, the floor to ceiling windows of the restaurant afforded us a river review at twilight. And when we entered, this classy-looking place was still filled with diners at 8:00 p.m., so I was quite glad we had a reservation. To start I shared with Diane a Shrimp Cocktail with colossal-sized shrimp that were not sweet but very good and meaty. Zesty horseradish-based Cocktail Sauce added welcome flavor. But the best was still to come! A Special of the Night Dinner Salad with walnuts, Bleu Cheese crumbles, baby greens, pear, added Cherry Tomatoes, and a light Citrus Sherry Vinaigrette was simply delicious and sized like an entrée. Once I finally dispatched this I moved on to perhaps the best grilled butterflied Branzino resting atop Lemon Butter Sauce that I have ever had the pleasure of eating, while Diane was equally swooning over her grilled Chilean Seabass that stood very high on the plate and was adorned with Buerre Blanc upon her request, as a substitute for Mango Sauce. We split a huge dish of Potatoes au Gratin that were very nicely finished with bubbling cheese. And I topped off my meal with a large slice of excellent Key Lime Pie that had the perfect tartness for which Floridian Key Lime Pies are noted, enhanced by real Whipped Cream and both Strawberry Sauce and Lemon Sauce on the plate suitable for either conjoined or individual dunking. Our server Habib was the perfect professional waiter, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Tomatoes were added to my salad upon request at no extra charge, although I was prepared to cover this add on; and Diane’s request for a different sauce for her fish was quickly and graciously granted. Service was excellent except for the waiter’s assistant accidentally knocking over a glass of Iced Tea on our table. Things happen, and this was but a blip in an otherwise near-perfect fish-oriented dinner. When again in Ft. Lauderdale to catch a cruise ship or to simply enjoy the watery environs, we will surely return to Grill 66 to enjoy another fresh catch.

Truly exceptional. The greeter was friendly. The fish was excellent. It arrived with cous cous, sweet potato, mushrooms and asparagus. One of the best meals I have had in Florida. Excellent staff.

Went here last night to celebrate Jelena’s survival and excellence during her company’s her year-end financial reporting wrap up. We’re treated by her CFO, thank you Dan. Now to the meal. The restaurant had a beautiful ambiance overlooking the intercoastal and mega-yachts. We were seated promptly upon arrival and served drinks quickly. The menu had a wide selection range — raw bar, fish, and two and four legged beasts. I had the charcuterie appetizer while others had beef tartar. Both were excellent. Now to the main entrees. Surprisingly they ran out of tuna which is hard to do in Florida, but flounder and a variety of steaks were ordered. Everyone said they meals were excellent however my Porterhouse was overcooked making the non filet half too tough to enjoy. The potatoes au gratin, asparagus, and brussel sprouts were excellent. The deserts especially the carrot cake and key lime pie were excellent as was the service. Would definitely recommend for an impressive dining experience.

Where do I start! Was trying to find a nice place to take my in-laws and stumbled across Grille 66. One word. AMAZING! I wish I had photos but food didn’t last long to take them! Stone crabs were delicious! Scallops cooked to perfection. The Filet Carpaccio, holy —-! The Sea Bass with Macadamias, mouth watering and a huge portion! We could even get dessert in we were so full! Pricey but worth it! Service was phenomenal! Great for a romantic night, birthday anniversary dinner! I would make reservations for sure!

Old school steak and seafood place with a crowd to match. We got off to a rough start, being seated 20 minutes after our reservation time because we appeared to arrive at rush hour(730PM). Then, two great blue-cheese stuffed martini’s to warm up, a slightly weak and watery lobster cocktail to start, and a perfectly cooked and delicious rib-eye for dinner. We split a baked potato which somehow felt overcooked and undercooked at the same time(it was hard and dry and looked tired). The service was good, competent and professional. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.

This place right here! Cute, classy, fun staff, good EXPENSIVE food and wine, and right on the water. Steven Spielbergs yacht was also parked right outside which made the night pretty special :)

Very classic upscale restaurant on the yacht-laden Fort Lauderdale waterfront. I attended a rehearsal dinner here and it was really great. Service was excellent, great selection of wine(although no draft beer). The food was delicious, with generous portions and a variety of options to choose from. The ambiance was that of a classic date restaurant — it could not be more stereotypical but is also excellently done. I can’t speak to the prices but I am sure they are high. The valet was easy to use and very convenient as well.

I am giving 2 stars because the oysters, snapper and key lime pie was really good. I am giving the rest of the critique on the hostess, server and atmosphere. Unless you are dated, being 65 and older and love a stuffy pretentious atmosphere… this is your place. Terrible service from the hostess. Had a reservation at 8 and had to sit on top of the hostess to get seated at 8:30. Had great service from Johnny at the bar. Our server Doru D behaved as though he lived on a yacht docked outside. Dated, pretentious environment that is not worth the time.

Awesome. Service was impeccable, views were amazing, and the food was great. Sure, it was expensive, but it was worth it in the eternal scheme of things. We will remember this meal long after we have paid it off of our credit card … and you can’t say that about a lot of places.

What a beautiful location. First the service was excellent. We had no reservations but they took us just the same. Crab cakes & scallops were amazing as starters and I ordered the Chilean sea bass. Fantastic. Nothing less than 5 star all the way. one star for the parking meters it refuse all our one dollar bills. Take the valet. Stupid me didn’t.

I was invited to Grill 66 for a Christmas party. I must say I came away impressed. They have complimentary valet parking which you don’t see at many places of this caliber. The ambiance is very nice as well. The food was great I had the 12oz. Steak and it was very juicy and the portion was more than I could eat which is always a good thing. There was also potatoes and creamy spinach which were all superb in their own right. We drank Pinot Grigio most of the night. Now I drink wine often but this wine was potent. Lol. It made me feel like my regular wine was watered down. The service is really what left me overly impressed. The servers were all very attentive. It wasn’t like 1 main server we had I think between 3 – 5 servers for our party and they were all very focused. Never did I have to flag them down to request anything. As soon as my wine was gone it was refilled. I couldn’t reach a side dish on the other end of the table… They brought it over to me. They were very courteous as well. All in all a very nice experience. I didn’t get a chance to see the boats outside but I could see them through the windows and they looked very nice. If you haven’t been you should def go!

We found this restaurant because we didnt have 45 minutes to waste waiting for new Boatyard to serve us. This is a beautiful restaurant hidden away under the bridge and next to the Hyatt Pier 66 Hotel. Just drive thru their parking lot to find it. All of our meals(6) were excellent but a bit pricey! I was appalled that they billed me $ 10 for a side of sweet potato fries that the waiter suggested instead of reg. fries, but he could not tell me if I would be charged for the substitution. Really! $ 10! I should have protested but didnt want to raise a fuss with family visiting. I think I’ll drop off a 10 lb bag of Costco Sweet Potatoes for the chef… cost abt $ 4! Warning, we were dressed casual and got away with it, but this is a «special occasion» restaurant and the bar area is a high class pick-up happy hour place. The whole place was quite busy and crowded. We were lucky to get a table for 6 as walk-ins. PS: Also lots of very wealthy snowbirds dining here. As a native I felt a little out of place!

This is a really excellent restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The food was a little pricey but cooked perfectly and the servers were top notch. This is within walking distance of the Hyatt and it was well worth it. Also the views of the yachts was worth it.

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new for our anniversary and decided to come here. We usually head to Smith and Wollensky on South Beach but decided to give this place a try. We are extremely happy that we did ! The food was fantastic. There was nothing negative about the meal. Our meal was started with a delicious scallop and puréed corn dish. The dish was so beautiful it reminded me of something that could be made on Top Chef. I had the Shrimp and lobster fra diavolo also very good. We would definitely come back. This place is extremely expensive so be ready. The shrimp cocktail is charged per piece and its $ 6 each. Dinner for four was $ 400, with no alcohol.
