I’d really like to write a great review. This is a decent O’Charley’s, food-wise, but the service isn’t great. I go here when someone wants me to meet them for birthday dinner or something, but it isn’t my go-to. Usually pretty slow with the drinks and rolls. Three time, I’ve got my food for free for various reasons. The food is never bad, just not great. It’s almost like it takes too long to be served, and sits forever, which goes back to poor service.

Just left here. Poor service. Wasn’t many people in there. Shrimp scampi was good. Took a while to get our food and waited a long time on rolls but they were hot n fresh. My son ordered kids chicken fingers with mashed potatoes. Chicken fingers were dry and hard and I could tell by looking over cooked. The mashed potatoes had bacon in them and it did not say bacon on the kids menu. We sent the whole plate back. My son had tried the chicken and mashed potatoes and got sick and puked at the table. They brought a fresh plate out but at this point he just wanted to go home. The server was busy talking in the corner most of the time. When ready to leave I had to get my own to-go boxes and drink. Sorry service and won’t be back.

Terrible service, ordered food and 29 minutes later it is delivered to our table. Waitress promised a refill on my drink, and it took almost as long as the main course. Manger was argumentative when questioned about the delay, loooong delay in food being served. Not the first time I’ve had problems with this location.

After years of boycotting this place I decided to come back. I stopped coming years ago due to the food and service being terrible but it appears everything has changed. Me and my grandfather came here one night to change it up from our normal spots. The service was really great and the manager and I talked about sports too. I had gotten the French Dip since you really screw one of those up and I do not know what they added to it but it great and gave it an unique taste that was good. I would rate 4 stars but I want to come back a few more times to make sure it was not just a fluke.

Bad service, waited 10 minutes after being seated before anyone came to table to get drink order, then waiter came back and took drink order again. Ordered soup and it never came, offered dessert instead of soup, asked for soup to be refunded three times… bill comes and soup is on the bill, then the waiter wanted to delay our exit to get soup removed from bill. Left and will never come back! Probably last time I ever visit ocharleys

Had a late snack and drinks at O’Charleys in Fort O. last night with a friend. It was around 9PM and very empty. It has off street parking which is huge so I am sure you will always find parking. They have tables, high tops, and booths and a nice size full service bar. I counted 12 draught beer selections — just saying… I had attended the OYE event earlier that day at Taqueria Jalisco Caliente off Rossville Ave, which I will write a review on also. Since I had some great food at that place, I was not real hungry so we shared a Top Shelf Combo Appetizer which included Spicy Jack Cheese Wedges, Chicken Tenders and Potato Skins. It had 3 of each, which I thought was weird because usually it is 4 so if you have 2 or 4 people you are either fighting over the food or having to split one of the selections… also if there are two people, the one chicken tender sits there until one of use says I am fully go ahead and eat the last one LOL… I had a Sam Adams and my guest had a margarita and Overloaded Potato Soup, which includes cheddar cheese, bacon, hand-cut potatoes. She loved it but it did not look overloaded to me. I always like the food at O’Charleys and it is a typical chain restaurant and if you eat at one, they are the same everywhere. We were in the bar area and the waitress was the bar tender, who was very friendly and helpful. I give it a three because it was clean and food was good… oh and they have draught beer.

Havn’t been here in a while and remember he reason. The service is terrible. You have to wait when the restaurant is half full and their reasoning is «we’re waiting on servers to get here.» Only thing good was the appetizers. It took 10 minutes for them to clean the table from the previous guests. Will not be returning.

I’m a three strike type of person before I say anything most of the time. The food here is great but the service has been worse than a fast food joint. 20 minutes to get my salad, 25 minutes to get silverware, and 30 minutes to get rolls. I could understand if it was busy but that’s not the case, and this is the third time at this location for a bad experience. We are not likely to dine at this location anymore.

Saturday afternoon at 1:00 with a partially full restaurant and it felt like a crazy busy Saturday night. The food took forever and was cooked wrong. We sent it back, it still came out wrong. The server never refilled drinks. What a bad experience, will never be back!

I live not too far from this O’Charley’s and have eaten there with friends and alone from time to time. The reviews posted are mixed and I can understand the mix of impressions since in the past I have felt the same way, which can be summed up as inconsistent. However, this O’Charleys seems to have made a dynamic effort to get better each month. The last several times I have eaten there seems different in both food and service. Usually I stop in for a late lunch, rarely in the evenings. I have found the service greatly improved. The hot rolls have been served promptly along with drinks. The salads are crisp and fresh. The soups are hot but not scalding. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Currently, Wednesday is «free pie» day, a nice bonus. I have tried most of their entrees and sides. Most are medium priced and served attractively. I commend this O’Charley’s for its effort to serve well and to treat its patrons with courtesy and respect. I would classify this restaurant as one of the best in the Fort Oglethorpe area at this time… I am posting this in June, 2015 and will update if anything changes. I hope they continue their«please our customers» attitude!

Not the best, not the worst. New management could take this place far. The kitchen does not take pride in the food they turnout. An easy fix for a good manager. Our food was cold, all of it but the funniest was our potato couldn’t even melt the butter it was ice cold. The manager apologized but we still payed full price for a terribly cold meal that we didn’t even eat. Thanks manager, but never again.

I have been in several Charlie’s through the years and this is the worst. They messed up on our waiters and we sat for 10 minutes just to get our water. It took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer. I never got my salad. After complaining to another waiter, the manager came over and apologized. He ended up coming to our table twice to apologize and made things right.

While the food good and the waitress was pretty nice — the experience at this location will keep us from ever going there again. I’ve been to another O’Charley’s that was far more busy and received faster more reliable service. We got the rolls at the same time as our sandwiches. It wasn’t very clean and for some strange reason the dining area we were seated in smelled slightly of body odor. I don’t know if it was the guy that seated us or the people in the booth next to us, but it was pretty unpleasant. lol

I haven’t eaten at O Charley’s many times. Usually a good meal at an exceptional price. My wife and I had dinner at this location and decided to never go back. My wife’s steak was as dry as a bone, and very bland. My chicken was terrible as well. And it makes us sick that we spent so much money on a meal we could’ve made twice and good at home. Just not worth the money.

Wow, where to begin. On 4÷24÷2014 my wife and I decided to go and have the Prime Rib special that they advertise. I knew it was good because when I was traveling all the time(2000 – 2007) I would stop and get it — so it was a no brainer for me. And we also usually eat here on Sunday mornings for the brunch. I would like to add that this is my wife’s choice to go to this one because it is the closest. We got there at 7 or so and I was trying to figure out at the time why it was such a long wait(turns out no wait staff) the parking lot was not full nor was the restaurant either — but we still had to wait. The wait time was 20 minutes but we were seated in 18min — I usually time people. We were seated and a young girl took our orders(we both had the Prime Rib special Med Rare) mango tea and water, spinach dip was the appetizer. My wife’s side was a salad and mine was the broccoli cheese casserole. The waitress asked what to drink so I told her and so did my wife well she brought a sierra mist which she made right. Her side salad was asked for with the meal. Rolls were brought out 15 to 20 minutes later by another staff member and that should have been my first clue. 30 to 45 minutes rolled around and wheres our waitress? Finally the same guy that brought our rolls out said we don’t have the med rare Prime rib will med work? We both said why what’s going on? It was explained to us that it was all out etc etc yadda yadda. So we both agreed to eat the med Prime Rib, ok another 30 minutes rolls around and the same guy walked out I said«where’s our food»? He said the manager will bring it out shortly(never seen our original waitress or anything during the time we were sat). Hmmm, the Manager is bringing it? Another clue. Over an hour of being told it will«be right out» and finally the Manager brings our food– my time may be off a bit, not much. She brought us a SMALL piece of dried up Prime Rib that I would never have served to anyone ever for any reason. My wife’s salad was nowhere to be found. My wife(who is normally pretty patient and accommodating) was the one who got up and said«I am done.» What should have been done is our waitress or manager come out and say they are out of it. If anyone ordered that stuff and ate it I know you’re sick by now. Honestly that type of management should not be tolerated anywhere, and the lack of customer respect is amazing. I will never ever go back I want to add this(2 weeks later) I received an unknown phone call from this restaurant. They didn’t leave a message or anything. If it was the manager I hope your fired by now. Nothing personal, but you do not know how to operate a Business.

I wish I could give lower than a one star. They were horrible. The only justice was the rolls that somewhat held off our hunger. We waited thirty minutes to even sit down. We sit down and the waiter bring us sweet tea and rolls. We ordered cajun pasta and 6oz steak. We waited 50 minutes before we got our food. I got my food first cause they said they lost my sisters. So I sat there for ten minutes waiting to eat. They brought hers so I cut into my steak and it is bleeding and purple and I asked for medium well. So they took mine back to cook it. My sister started to eat hers and it was horrible and greasy. And it was pasta so I don’t know how they could fuck that up. And then they give me mine back from cooking it longer. It’s burnt and black on the outside and I cut into it and it’s still purple and gross. The waiter asked if I wanted to eat anything else that wouldn’t take as long to cook. So I tell her to just not give me anything else. I just won’t eat. And me and my sister leave and give the waitress 7 dollars. We were there for a total of two and half hours and we didn’t even eat. We ate rolls and two bites of our meal. Never again.

This is the only O’Charley’s I’ve visited, but it’s superb. The staff is as friendly and attentive as can be and the meal was excellent. O’Charley’s is comparable to Logan’s Roadhouse but a bit quieter.

While visiting my motherinlaw, she took our family here for dinner. Never been to this chain as they don’t have any around where I live. I got a steak and it was one. Of the best that I ever had. Whenever we come back down to visit, we will be stopping in again.

I love O’Charleys but this one is usually a little bit off. Last night was no exception — service was OK but nothing special, hot food was warm.
