Place is physically no longer there. I mean the building is gone and there are building upscale apartments where it stood next to the shopping center. The drinks were great and the interior was neat. Something like you were inside an Aztec temple or something. Food was good, but not super wow. Good service and place was clean. A little pricey. Place was there for a very long time.

Closed! Out of business! Very unfortunate news! Sign says they are selling everything including their furniture, kitchen supplies, dishes, and equipment. Not really sure why this app is requiring me to write more when I have clearly communicated the current status of business at Amazon. Now the app is asking if I have anything more to add… Nope! That’s all I have to add.

I have been here once with my firends. We went for Friday lunch and it wasn‘t crowded. Brazilian BBQ was good and not expensive. Many appetizers to choose from Fried banana was soooo tasty! yum yum! There are 6 to 7 types of meat, chicken was the best! There were 8 of us and they really took good care of us! Great customer service! Definitely will be back soon!

I come to this restaurant once in a while. And it’s usually a hit or miss with the meats. Either it’s too salty, too dry, too chewy, or perfect. Usually you can’t go wrong with skirt steak. This time it was just ok. The feijoada was pretty bland. The fried bananas were soggy and gross. And the pao de queijo never made an apperance. It is still a better value than Fogo de Chao, which is mediocre at best.

Pretty much what you’d expect tons of meat and more meat and more meat till you can’t take anymore. Nothing was amazing, there was just lots of it. So if you want to try a new type of meat that you haven’t had before they most likely have it along with an alright salad bar.

Went here today with my boyfriend and his best friend. The place is huge with nice decors, a lil too dark for a buffet though. It’s 27 bucks per head for a dinner. You get unlimited carbs, soup, salad, meat… BUNCHOFMEATS! They all tasted the same though, that is my down side. 3 stars for different meats(supposedly) but they all tasted the same! Service was great, they attended to all our needs, asked us every 5 – 10 minutes how we’re doing, refilled our water frequently… I ordered blended mango margarita as well, i liked it bec it’s not all sugary :) It’s good, but not best or special either.

Good, but not great. I love to go to Brazilian BBQ places whenever I travel. I stopped here for dinner tonight(Monday night) and enjoyed the food. The décor is nice, music is hip, but being a Monday night, the place was dead. Even with only a few tables, the staff did a nice job of keeping my plate full. The buffet was definitely limited in its offerings, but who wants to fill up on that stuff anyway? The meats were generally good. Not the best Brazilian BBQ I’ve had, but certainly not the worst. Given the limited options in this area, I would come back next time I’m in town. But, if a Fogo de Chao were to open up, it would knock this place off the map. Oh… Try the Exotic Bomba for dessert. You won’t be dissapointed!

$ 25 for lunch seems really steep. I thought it was gonna be cheaper, but my friends couldn’t come up with the coupon they thought they had. As for the service… they started off cold, but they meant well, and eventually warmed up. The food itself was decent; they couldn’t really keep up with meats, so we had to resort to filling up on the carbs :-(kinda seems like a waste of money after that… I’m not opposed to eating here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I’m a Korean guy that was born and raised in Brazil for the first 12 years of my life. I don’t remember exactly how the meat tasted in Brazil, but definitely not like this place. The waiter would bring the meat, and it was always over cooked(Too well done), too salty and hard. First of all, WHOTHEHECKSERVESMEATLIKETHIS? After every 15 – 20 mins, no meat comes out of the kitchen. This gives customers time to get situated and full while waiting for the meat. This happens all the time. Its like they do it on purpose.(Been there 2 times) My second time there was my last. I thought my first time was just a bad day for the restaurant, but looks like I was right. Food was boring and they seemed to bring out cheap meat to your table 2 out of 3 times. The waiter offered the chicken to my table 3 times while the top sirloin came once. If you want cheese bread(Pao de Queijo) do not get there before 12pm. They won’t have any ready till about 1pm. By the way, no Picanha during lunch? Yeah… I wont be coming here anymore. Out of all the Brazilian BBQ’s I’ve been to, this place was probably the worst.

This was my first time to a Brazilian churrascaria and I really liked the format. It’s a salad bar and buffet for side dishes, but the meat courses are roasted fresh and brought to your table in intervals, for as long and as much as you like. Like Korean BBQ, it’s a dream scenario for Atkins dieters. Here’s the DL on this place… The Good: At $ 16.99, it’s a really good value for an AYCE place. The meat servers are prompt and never miss a beat, and for the most part, they meat is cooked properly. The salad bar is fresh, and they don’t let the food sit out too long before refreshing it. At first, I thought the atmosphere was a little cliché‘, but after the gentle bossa nova music started seeping into my brain, it all made sense. The vibe hear is pretty cool and much preferred to the crazy chaos of many other buffet style restaurants. The Bad: There really isn’t a bad, but none of the food is very impressive either. It ranges from just OK, to pretty good. I don’t expect top quality prime beef in places like this, but some of the meat dishes could’ve used some more seasoning, as did some of the side dishes. The garlic beef tenderloin and tri-tip were standouts, the top sirloin and bacon wrapped turkey kabobs, not so much. They could’ve used some more salad bar choices as well, and the drink servers were a bit slow. I can’t give the Amazon Churrascaria anything more than 3 stars because of the average food quality. However, I would recommend it to anyone that likes buffets and wants a ton of meat with a salad bar at a low price with acceptable quality. Keep your expectations reasonable and I think you will find this place to be a good value.

Always a sure bet for both lunch and dinner. Even though dinner isn’t cheap at $ 27/adult, they keep the meats coming and the buffet fully stocked with fairly decent items. Don’t forget to ask for steak sauce as they don’t have it on display anymore. Once in a while the meats come out a bit well done or over seasoned but they still satisfy. Definitely good bang for the buck.

We went here on Friday(September 13th, 2013) to celebrate our one year anniversary. I had never been here before, but am totally digging the place. I have to say, that even with their vast assortment of meats, the skirt steak was by far, THEBEST. We weren’t too fond of the peppered steak nor the beef kabob. The sirloin was nice and pink on the inside, but it was really tough and really chewy. The chicken was really good. The boyfriend(Scott) was brave and tried the frog legs, but told me they weren’t any good. I nibbled on a little piece of the quail. It was tasty, but I’m not a big fan of gamier tasting meat. He also had the bacon wrapped turkey. He noticed that the turkey meat wasn’t really like turkey meat, but more like the baloney kind of turkey, processed. Scott also had the lamb, which he said was really good. He also enjoyed the pork ribs. Oh, if you go there a week before or a week after your birthday and mention that you read on their website about a free birthday dinner, they will give you a gift certificate for a free dinner. You have to give them your driver’s license so they can record your name/info. The gift certificate is valid for a month, from the date of your visit. That’s a pretty good deal considering dinner is almost $ 30/person.

We came here on a Sunday thinking they honored their lunch price everyday — apparently Monday-Thurday, lunch runs until 3PM and costs $ 9.95 per person and Friday and Saturday lunch runs until 3PM and costs $ 15.95, but they charge dinner prices all day on Sunday. Boo! We paid $ 27 per person for our meal. Still not bad for a Brazilian steakhouse, but the quality of meat and salad bar here is not on par with other churrascarias I’ve been to.
The service was ok — definitely not served with a smile until my bf showed his passport and the server saw that he was Brazilian. This was the first time I saw the guy’s teeth. He was really nice to us AFTER that. The gaucho was not all that enjoyable to be around either. He was serving the meat and barely told us what the meat was. I guess Sundays are not a good day to come. The food here is ok. Probably on the bottom portion of my list for churrascaria/rodizio. The salad bar is the least impressive I’ve seen for a churrascaria. They had no cheese selection, and there wasn’t much to choose from. The beef tongue stew is pretty good though. Don’t come here for the salad bar; you’ll be disappointed. There are other churrascarias with a much better salad bar and for only a little more. There were two occasions that they ran out of pao de queijo, so we had to wait until they refilled that station. I’d say half the meat was super delicious and the other half was over-cooked and dry(severely well done). The garlic steak and rib eye were the best and had lots of flavor to them, and the picanha and peppered steak were the worst. Both were super dry, not tender at all, and lacking in flavor. They were out of alligator meat, so we didn’t get to try it. They have a pretty good wine selection, so we ordered two glasses of the Malbec, which was very good. This review is based on the value of the food quality and service vs. the price. Overall, everything was ok.

Expectation is a scary thing… No one can ever live up to it. Ask my parents. Brazil has promised me many things. Among them: beautiful beaches, excellent buttocks, tiny bikinis, and an all out assault to eradicate my need to consume cooked meat. So on father’s day, when my better half and the food critic in training asks what I want to do for my day, I say«I want to kills some cows!». So off we went to the closest Churrascaria. I was filled with dreams of food coma, exploding pant buckles, acid reflux… the whole nine yards. First thing we hear as we entered the restaurant is that they are out of 5 different types of meat…(not a good sign but my primal urge to eat meat has now taken over my better sense of judgement). «So does that mean you are out of meat?» I ask. «No we still have 11 more» «Sold!». And that was the the highlight of that evening. The service was so slow that I had to complain. Food was mediocre and the wine selection sucked. The promise of consuming massive amount of charred protein laid to waste. I may have been expecting way too much from a essentially a Sizzler with a spit. Anyway, I don’t think I will go back anytime soon. For the price, I rather go to an all you can eat K-BBQ or just spend little more money, drive little further and go to a proper Churrascaria. Happy eating — R

For the $ 9.99 lunch buffet, you can’t really beat the price. I’ve been here basically every day except for some occasions since they’ve had this deal. And I’ll probably be coming every day they have this sale, because something this good of a deal won’t last forever.

I came out here to treat my friend to some Brazilian BBQ, a cuisine she’s never had before. So seeing how Greenfields in Long Beach was too far, I thought this churrascaria might be a great new find close to my house. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Location: 3 stars The location for this place is both amazing and awful. The amazing part is how close it is to the freeway. It is right off Lemon Street off the 91, meaning any traffic coming off would see it. That’s some prime real estate. However, the location is awful because it’s in a shopping plaza with nothing worth visiting for. This would explain why during peak lunch hours I saw an empty parking lot and kept wondering if the restaurant was open. Lunch price/deal: 3 stars Okay, so this is a weird toss up. In one sense I get it, but in the other, it really takes away from the experience and what Brazilian BBQ is all about. So, the price for the lunch special is $ 9.95 per person. Sounds great right? But here’s the flip side of it: you only get to three helpings of meat. This means you only get meat served to you three times throughout your lunch. Although the salad bar is all you can eat, the actual meat is only thrice. If I could reverse that, this would be amazing, but here, you really do get as much as you pay. Food: 2 stars Okay, so we went over the meat portion and the scarcity of it. The meat itself wasn’t bad. The sausage was a bit on the salty side, and the beef tasted a bit underseasoned. However, the chicken was on the bone, and it helped keep the food juicy and succulent. Yet, the real disappointment was the salad bar. Now, when they say salad bar, it actually means all the other stuff besides the meats that come passing by on skewers from the servers. They had fried yucca(a staple of Brazilian food), black beans, ribs, tortillas, mashed potatoes, rice, and also actual salad. They also had a few things I wouldn’t expect like sushi. But the thing they didn’t have that was glaringly awful was the cheese bread. If you’ve never been blessed with eating Brazilian cheese bread, it is mind blowing. It is the chills down your back. Love at first sight. It’s a nice, warm texture on the outside, with a gooey, cheesy, chewy interior that is making my mouth salivate as we speak. But yeah, they didn’t have it for lunch. ETERNALSADNESS! Server: 3 stars The service was meh. Not awful, but not great either. Conclusion At the end of the meal, I left not hating myself which I guess speaks wonders of how little I ate. Not a good sign when you went to an all you can eat place. The meats were good, though seriously lacking in the«all you can eat» part. The hot food in the salad bar was cold, and they didn’t have CHEESEBREAD. What I would say for this place would be to come during dinner when you can truly have the full experience. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a lunch buffet to truly fill up on, look elsewhere.

Being the glutton that I am, I actually had Brazilian churrascaria at M Grill the night before. The difference in meat quality was like night and day, this place was mediocre at best. But then again, it’s $ 20 cheaper than your typical churrascaria, so I guess to each his own. If you’re not really looking for quality, but just to get your meat on for $ 30, this place will suffice. They have most of your standard cuts, including top sirloin, picanha, skirt steak, chicken, sausages, lamb chop, etc. They also have chicken heart. The salad bar is per usual, cheese bread was soft/chewy. Service was great, they’re very good about bringing around meats and asking for requests. They aren’t stingy with their portions either, take as much as you want. But personally, I’d rather go elsewhere and pay a little more for a better experience.

As exactly as the people/reviewers of Unilocal stated…“Meh…Ive experienced better.” Once i saw the listing on Unilocal,I knew there would be something special about this place. How is it possible for a BRAZILIANBBQ restaurant to be a 3 star? THISPLACEMUSTBEREALLYSUCK! In the end, we still went because we all wanted to try out the place. To be honest, the ONLY reason why we went was cuz of their birthday special. If you come on your birthday, you are presented with a coupon with a FREEMEAL. This part was awesome. Upon walking in, I knew something about the dinner was going to be bad. Usually… MOSTBRAZ BBQs that Ive been to have been packed houses… this place had NOONE dining there! Scared? yes. Excited there wasnt a wait. yes! After we sat down, we all then proceeded to the buffet line. The food wasnt too bad… A-OK. Some of items were warm, some of the items were pipping hot. One of the things that stoof out about this place were the soups! AWESOME! Ok…so heres my MAINREVIEW: –complaint: the cheese breads werent there! –complaint: some of the bbq meat served was raw… –complaint: they dont serve you INDIVIDUALLY… they cut off all the pieces of meat, serve them on a plate, and then YOU as CUSTOMERS have to «Take one and pass it down» –applause: awesome tasting water… very lemon-y and refreshing –applause: awesome soda –complaint: they didnt have ALLOFTHEIRDINNERMEATS available –applause: AWESOMEGRILLEDPINEAPPLE So yah. there you have it… probably wont be coming back. Maybe I came on a bad night? The reviews all speak for itself. UNTILTHEN! ^-^

Carnivore, who me? While this place may not be as pretty as Greenfields with its butterflies in Long Beach or as as Trendy with its neon as Samba in Las Vegas it equals or beats them both on price, and meat choices. Granted it does not have some of the high end meats they serve. But they got exotics like Gator & Quail. Used to have rabbit and duck too. Maybe this place gets overlooked due to its location and surroundings. Lets face it bowling alley, Lowes, and Burlington Coat Factory don’t exactly make for top notch locale. On the other hand its 1 min from the 91 freeway with ample parking. How many restaurants would love to have this accessibility? Walk in through the fake jungle deal and wait to be seated. And its a typical Churrascaria deal from then on. Carnivores delight. Green means go, red means stop and go as long as you like AYCE. Praise the meat gods! I went here again for lunch couple weeks ago with a group. Like $ 16 bucks ea… cool deal… I ate so much I didn’t even think of dinner later that night. When we finally left I looked and felt like Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke after he ate 50 eggs. The lunch menu didn’t seem to have as many choices of meat as the dinner fare but I was more than happy to eat my fill of the garlic steak, pork, turkey, sausage, ribs, sirloin, chicken, pepper steak, kabobs and who remembers what else. Salad??? Why bother with rabbit food when you are in the meat kingdom? We ate for like 2 hours and probably had everything twice. I don’t think I had a poor choice or bad slice of meat throughout the whole meal. Everything was perfect. And while maybe not the best cuts of meat, all wer tender and flavorful. I’ve has a 85%ish experience with the dinner here. But the lunch was fantastic. I’ll be back
