I should have written this a long time ago but this bakery is amazing!!! They did my wedding cake for last August and it turned out absolutely beautiful and so delicious. It was so easy to make an appointment to sit down and have a cake tasting and the owner is so sweet(pun intended) and accommodating. I had a budget in mind and what I wanted would have gone way over that so she suggested a few things to help us and it was the perfect price. She not only made the cake stunning but she delivered it in the hot weather right on schedule. She was recommended to me by the coordinator of the venue that we used for our reception because they have worked with her for numerous events before. I am now expecting our second baby due in September and will be going back to get a special cake for our baby shower soon. I will always go back for my cakes and THANKYOU again for making my wedding cake so wonderful!!! I probably had about 5 slices!!!

I always got great service & and GREAT tasting cakes, so my sons birthday is here, and I think I’m gonna try a different place, last year I felt the cake was way over priced and the part of the cake was missing & it was filled in with frosting. Iv been going there for bridal showers, all my sons birthdays since he was 3 now he is gonna be 13, and I never had a bad cake, only the one time, hopefully, the owner should over see this problem, I want to continue doing business there.

Ordered a graduation cake, it was exactly as I ordered it and the service was impeccable. We found this cake to be more frosting than cake. Unfortunately the celebrant is not fond of buttercream so we asked for fondant and paid extra for it. The cake had a very thick layer of buttercream under the fondant, which was a disappointment to the celebrant. I will be more specific if I ever order from this bakery again.

Amazing chocolate cake with a raspberry compote filling! I went on to order a cake for my son’s graduation party. I hadn’t put much thought into it other than chocolate with raspberry. The gentlemen clerk was great! He brought out samples and made suggestions that I never even thought of and in the end my son had a fabulous tasting and beautifully decorated cake. As an added bonus, all of the staff is very warm, friendly and professional. Plus I ended up paying far less for much more cake than I have paid elsewhere. I will definitely be returning to Beverly’s Bakery!

I threw my cousin a Labyrinth movie themed baby shower yesterday(5÷7÷16), and went to Beverly’s to discuss ordering my cake. Given the copyrights on the characters(which I knew going in), they helped me piece together something the best we could. When we received the cake I was abolish tell floored. It by far exceeded anything I could have imagined! Thank you guys so much for helping make this baby shower truly memorable! I will definitely be ordering all my custom cakes from Beverly’s again! I should also add we did a chocolate cake with peanut butter cream filling, and it was also very delicious. The only sad part was having to cut into their masterpiece!

My family loves Beverly’s Best. Whenever we have a special occasion, it’s our go-to bakery. The cakes, cookies and pastries are delicious and beautiful. I’ve had guests say they are the tastiest cakes they’ve ever had. I agree!

I deeply regret that I didn’t take a better picture of the cake before the party devoured it so swiftly. It was THAT good! I ordered a four layer round cake with a ganache drip with rectangle sprinkles and pink frosting. Cookie crumb cake flavor and cookes&cream filing. With a «Congratulations» topper by Peppermint Peony. The cake was for a male coworker’s baby shower and it was a major hit. Definitely not overtly sweet and a taste of airy heaven with each bite. On the pricey side, but for that special occasion it’s worth it.

LOVE! Ordered a vanilla cake with REAL bananas and French icing — OMG sooo delicious. The icing was not too sweet and the custard was amazing. The cake was gorgeous and everyone loved it. Loved the FRESH bananas that were perfectly sliced. I will be coming back to order my daughters birthday cake!

Wow! Omg! So good! I picked up a dozen cupcakes for my coworkers birthday and they were a hit! The frosting isn’t too sweet and has awesome texture. The cake itself was moist and flavorful. The cookies and cream cupcake was my favorite and the Irish car bomb cupcake for St. Patrick’s day was soooo yummy as well! They are pricey but it is definitely worth it!

They did an amazing job with our wedding cake! customized the color of the frosting and sprinkles. There were so many compliments on how good the cupcakes were(they were red velvet). Now we have our mini cake back at home and I want a piece every day! Thank you!

Beverly’s Best Bakery is honestly THEBEST. My mom and I made a wedding cake appointment, came in and had the most wonderful time browsing through the idea books and cake tasting. The staff made it very easy for us to make a decision – providing recommendations along the way once we described what we were looking for. On our wedding day we had a few birthday’s and Beverly’s had no problem delivering a few birthday cupcakes in addition to our wedding cake. We felt very confident in Beverly’s service and were extremely happy with our wedding cake. Thank you Beverly’s! We highly recommend you to anyone!

On your wedding day there are a million things that can go wrong! After my consultation and tasting here I felt super confident. The tasting was incredible and the woman I met with was sooo helpful! She made really good recommendations and suggestions for a grooms cake. The prices we’re reasonable and the cake was very tasty. I’m not typically a fan of fondant but theirs was quite tasty. They were prompt and very helpful! To all brides a big thumbs up! Great job and great price.

While i did enjoy the service, I am not in love with the desserts here. Prices range from fair to pricey, $ 5 brownie is a bit much, the rest better in price. The store cute and simple, nice selection and variety. Free cupcake with check in, I went with chocolate, while the dough was good, the frosting way too much and the added glitter not really fun to eat. My pecan sticky bun was pretty good, but the dough a bit hard and dry. Nice local bakery, I might have to try something else next time.

This bakery is the best! We picked up a cake(this was sitting in the fridge, we of course had them add the writing, but this is an average cake you can walk in and get… WITHOUTORDERINGAHEADOFTIME!!!). We had a family function and were very excited to be able to purchase this, since we had not planned ahead. We added some cookies to have for now, Double Chocolate and The Best Ever Cookie“ We got home and my son had the Double Chocolate and my boyfriend started on one of The Best Ever… When I walked in the room, Rich’s face told me, but he followed with these words, «Nathan(my other son) is not getting the second cookie. This seriously is The Best Ever Cookie I have EVER had and I am saving it for later.» We can’t wait to try the cake tomorrow!!!

I’ll start my review by saying that my family has used Beverly’s Best in the past and have been happy with their baked goods. Everything always looks and tastes great. However, I went in to place an order myself for the first time and I was highly disappointed. I was buying 9 brownies and bars($ 4-$ 5 each) and I wanted them cut in 4’s. There was an additional charge to cut the bars but the girl helping me was training so she asked another girl to help her understand the charge correctly. Apparently… it was going to be $ 7EACHBAR(on top of the price of the bar) to cut in 4’s. That’s almost twice the price of the bar itself. I wasn’t about to pay at least $ 11 for each bar… NOWAY! I’ll do the 2 cuts myself lol VERYDISSATISFIED! Bars were for a funeral too. Won’t be coming back. Trainee was super nice though.

I rarely give 1 stars to businesses but my review isn’t false. If you are the owner then you need to speak to your employees because your employee told us that information about the frosting and epipen. Thank you.(This is following the response on my first review)

Back Story: My grandpa was diagnosed with terminal cancer about a month ago. The doctors have said he has 3 months or less. We didn’t anticipate celebrating with a birthday party, prior to his diagnosis. Maybe just dinner or something mellow. Forward a month later all of our family decided to throw him a intamate bday party. Probably his last :(. I went to 3 different bakeries around my area(Anaheim) all were booked for the day of his bday party June 27th. I didn’t think 2 weeks in advance is was too late of a notice. But apperantly it is. So I Google bakeries near me and Beverlys Best in Fullerton poped up. I went Unilocal and saw it had good solid rating. I’m not going to lie, but i was a little apprehensive based on the bad service reviews. But I felt like I couldn’t waste time going to a Vons or Albertsons, since I wanted to get something extra special for my granpa. I went on a Saturday around noon. There were a few people ahead of me. I was greeting and asked what I needed. I asked first if they were able to accomadate a special order cake and she said yes. She asked me to have seat, gave me a number and told me as soon as one of their I pads was charged they’d give me one and a soon as a consultant was available they would help me. I waited about 15 mins, I didn’t mind it the shop is supper cute and kind of intimadating I thought they would charge an arm and a leg. I asked some ladies waiting to pick up a cake order if they had ordered from them before and they had nothing but good things to say. And they said the prices are fair based how pretty the cakes are and good they taste. Savanna helped me. She was so patient because I really didn’t know how I wanted the cake to look(Casino night theme). She gave me ideas and opinions. She was also conscientious of my budget and made sure she quoted me the correct price. I paid half of the total and will pay remaining when. I pick up the cake. I decided on a white cake with vanilla Bavaria filling with strawberries and a french buttercream A few days later I saw a design I liked at on Pinterest. And stopped by at the shop, fortunately Savanna was there and she had remembered me. She too thought the new design was simpler and a better idea. She rewrote the order. And sent me on my way. I also bought 3 mini cupcakes(Lemon, chocolate and red velvet) sooooo delicious. I also bought a salted caramel macaroon. It’s to die for. I wish I could have bought more!

I ordered my cousins high school graduation cake a week before I needed it and they gladly accepted my order. I had called 4 other bakeries in the area, all which were completely booked due to all the graduations happening that week. I spoke with Molly throughout the ordering process and she was very helpful and quick to respond to my calls. On the day of pick up, the cake was ready when we arrived. It was beautiful and exactly like the picture I had sent. Not only did it look pretty, it tasted soo good! You can’t always say that about other bakeries with fancy cakes. The only thing I’d say, is it is a bit pricey. I’m not sure if this was from my last minute order, the high demand that week, or the orange county area, but I didn’t hesitate to pay their price, especially since my order was so last minute. I do order from another lady who is about half the price, but that’s in downtown LA and you do have to order a month in advance. All in all, the cake was delicious and the service was excellent. I do plan on ordering again if I’m ever hosting an event in the area!

Beverly’s Best Bakery, is aptly named. It’s is the best bakery to go to when you need something special for your family. They usually have amazing cakes ready for those of us who need a fancy cake at the last minute. They also have beautiful custom order cakes.(I ordered a spider for my husband’s birthday.) Beverly’s Best cakes are not only beautiful, but they actually taste good. Beverly’s Best also has tasty cookies, bars, tarts, cupcakes, brownies, and cake pops. You can also special order breakfast quiches. Although there can be lines, especially around the holidays, I have always found the employees to be efficient, helpful and friendly.

Brea has some of the«best» stuff around. I use this term because, well, they claim it on their restaurant name. You have Brea’s Best, which blatantly claims to have the best burgers in Brea. Now, we have Beverly’s Best. Though technically in Fullerton, it is practically in Brea. Known for their grandeur specialty cakes, I was more interested in their pastries and dessert items. After lunch, I made it a treat to come here for something sweet. I must say, our dessert was much larger than our actual lunch. We had the fruit tart, cherry scone, chocolate cupcake, and Key lime bar. The fruit tart had mandarin oranges, blueberries pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, and a raspberry. The custard inside was perfectly sweet and creamy, but the best part was the crust. It wasn’t too buttery or cookie like, but had the perfect balance of crisp and density. This was a solid fruit tart, and something to consider if you are only going to get«not a cake». If you do want a cake, but not a whole cake, their cupcakes can be something to consider. Though you get the whole cake experience without getting the whole thing, their cupcakes to me were average. Nothing really stood out. Their chocolate cupcake was light and fluffy, but the frosting was nothing spectacular. I tend to like more dense cakes, especially in cupcakes, and I like more dense frosting, like icing. Theirs was more in the middle. It wasn’t really sweet, it wasn’t really dense, it was just average. The cherry scone was a surprise, taste wise and in other ways. The scone was dense and almost bready, and the fruit inside was flavorful. I ate this inside of a movie theatre and a dark one at that. I did not know there was a filling inside, and a lot, if not, most of the filling fell on my shirt. Luckily, I was wearing a black shirt, and I just wiped it off. I’m sure nobody saw. It was dark… it was dark. Nobody saw. Though messy, their scones are something to consider. The Key lime bar was interesting. The texture was that of cheesecake, but the taste was totally different. With a definite sour, citrus profile, it was indeed tart. The lime flavor was very prevalent in this and although it was sour, it didn’t make me pucker intensely. I feel the Key lime bar could have used a bit more sour to balance out the sweet. I like sour flavors, and if this made me pucker just a little bit more, it would have been perfect. Beverly’s Best was an interesting experience. The boutique shop of pastries and specialty cakes had a upscale feel with a down to earth attitude. Rare to find the two in the same category, I found that this bakery was unique it its own way. Hidden away in a strip mall nest to a video store(yes they still exists), this is truly a gem. I was there just to get some snacks, and people just kept coming to pick up their jazzed up cakes. In the short time I was there, 3 different people were there to pick up their cake. I’m not all about fancy cakes with all the color and designs, but this is really making me consider. Maybe next time for someone’s birthday, someone will get a nice surprise. :)
