Big Slice Pizza

Decent Pizza but shady staff. I been there a number of time and the service is always a little questionable. Always several people standing around with very little interest in actually serving anyone. A few days ago, I ordered a jumbo pizza with 2 toppings. When I picked it up the sign in front said that a jumbo 3 topping pizza was 20.99. When the girl ran my card she charged me 27.99. I asked the girl about the special posted and she said that I didn’t qualify for that because I didn’t order 3 toppings. So I paid $ 7 extra for not adding a third topping, I said? When she realized how ridiculous that sounded she then changed her story and said I didn’t qualify for that because I didn’t ask for it specifically when I ordered. I’m sorry but that is just shady. Makes me wonder what other shenanigans they would be willing to pull.

I have ordered from them several times and this is the 3^rd time they screw up my order… i ordered delivery from Eat 24 and thats when they started screwing up… so friggin annoying!!!
And my coworkers food was wrong too… never ordering delivery again from this place.

The food is always great! The customer service is always amazing. And they even deliver.

When I saw the name Big Slice pop up on Unilocal on a Saturday night, it looked so promising. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. The slices weren’t very big at all, the pizza was sub-​par and the cheese just slid off my girlfriend’s slice the moment she picked it up. It was gross.
The place was also run by teenagers who did not seem very into their jobs. We arrived late, a full hour before closing time, and the people working there seemed more concerned about cracking jokes amongst themselves and starting to close up the shop than taking care of the customers.
We won’t be coming back here again.

This place in Downtown Fullerton is one of the best pizza places I have eaten at. They have huge, fresh made thin crust pizza, salads, pasta dishes, awesome crazy bread, and a good selection of beer on tap as well as bottled beer, wine, cider and other libations. There is a patio for smokers with a pool table and heat lamps just in case it gets pretty cold out. The employees all seem to be of the punk/​emo type and every now and then, they have bands play on the patio. Another piece of advice, you can also check out some of the cool art in the bathroom!

If you ain’t down with BIG SLICE PIZZA I don’t need you in my life.

I’m new to the Fullerton area and work from home. I was craving pizza for lunch, so I ordered for the first time today using Eat24. I chose the delivery time to be a specific time, and Big Slice was prompt!
I ordered a pepperoni pizza with basil. I LOVE pizza with fresh basil. The pizza was a bit small, but very tasty. I like their crust: it’s chewy. And today the leftover pizza was AMAZING.
I also ordered mozzarella sticks. They were a bit on the salty side, but better than most places.
I will definitely order from Big Slice again sometime. Better yet, I will visit their restaurant and dine-​in because it’s super close.

By far the best pizza. My brother won’t eat pizza anywhere else. Just wish they’d sell ½ orders of breadsticks for carry out customers.

This place is yummy and gives you that homemade extra love extra sauce type of satisfaction everytime!

Good pizza, great calzones, very tasty and zesty marinara sauce. Ranch seems house — made and is good too. Unilocal says they deliver to my address now which is awesome because I hate driving into downtown fullerton.
I’ve dined in before, service was decent and the staff was friendly. However, the seating is limited and had to split a party of four because of a woman taking a 6 person table or sit outside on the patio with the smokers, which would have been fine had I not had two kids under 10 with me. I’d dine in again with no kids next time.

According to the sign in their window, this place opens at 11:00. I got there at 11:10 and there were no slices ready. I asked when they would be ready and the guy said, «At least 10 minutes. They aren’t even in the oven yet.» I asked why they opened at 11:00 but didn’t have food ready at 11:00 and a different employee said they usually don’t have customers that early. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Best pizza in fullerton great service and great place to hang out right in downtown fullerton

Don’t order from here waited 45 mins and they said my ordered was canceled I found out 50 mins later thru the bullshit eat24 people when they called to apologize the order had been canceled 30 mins earlier really?!! Wtf now everything’s closed they give me the heads up 30 mins into my 45 waiting! This is bullshit service eat24 my ass lol but as for big slice not even to give me a heads up cmon shit service never again will I order I mean I didn’t even complain last time they delivered and had to meet the delivery driver who was either dumb or drunk a block away cuz he couldn’t read the street numbers

Mediocre at best. The pizza tastes like Costco or Sams Club but at 3x the price. If you are into doughy pizza than you might like it but it’s by no way close to thin NY style. $ 17 for a medium (6slice) pizza with 2 toppings seems excessive in today’s unlimited toppings Pieology/​Blaze Style pizzeria for under $ 10.
Service was nice and friendly
The outdoor patio has a pool table a there were a few people outside smoking while I ate pizza. I thought in CA it is illegal to do that. Staff did not seem to mind.
Gave it a shot and I won’t be back. Rather have dominos at home smoke free for half the price.

Just moved to the area and looking for a place that would deliver.
First the good, the portions are ginormous.
I had the chicken mushroom fettuccine and the chicken parm both were very good and had good flavor,
The only suggestion I’d give them would be add more sauce on both they were a bit dry and I would have liked to use the garlic cheese bread to sop up any extra sauce but the problem was there wasn’t even enough sauce for the pasta.
Also they seemed a little under staffed and was put on hold and forgotten and had to call back.
Update from my last review.
Everyone I’ve dealt with either on the phone or delivery people are extremely polite and friendly, they seem very genuine.
I ordered the chicken mushroom fettuccine again and they were more than happy to accommodate my request of more sauce.
I also ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was very good, I can’t say its the best I’ve had but I wouldn’t hesitate to refer any of my friends to order from Big Slice.
Good people and good food what more can you ask for?

We ordered the chicken pesto and wings. They were really good.
I dont know why it has one dollar bill sign. Because its not that cheap. We paid $ 28 for pick up

They ain’t kidding when they say «Big Slices». Got a cheese and pepperoni slice and both were HUGE. Friendly staff. I will try their Big Slice Fries and wings next time.
Update: so i tried the Big slice fries, it says that it comes with bacon, cheese and jalapeño. But the cheese was nonexistent. At all. I still like the fries tho because they stay crispy for long time. There was just no cheese at all.

So I ordered delivery from this place for the first time today. Not impressed. I ordered a Hawaiian calzone, chicken strips, and «Big Slice» fries. Here’s the breakdown.
Calzone:
–crust was tough as nails
–crust tasted like cardboard
–who the heck puts ricotta cheese in a calzone?! And who the heck puts ricotta cheese in a HAWAIIAN calzone?!!
Chicken strips:
–standard, run of the mill resteraunt warehouse tenders
–rubbery and still pink
–way too greasy
«Big Slice» fries:
–cheese was literally burned on the fries
–bacon tasted like rubber
–fries weren’t cooked all the way
–nothing to dip them in. Seriously!!! Even theme parks and Hooters give you a side of some kind of sauce!!!
Only reason I gave this place two stars is because they still delivered to me even though I’m on the other side of town by the Cadillac dealership.

The pizza is the best in Fullerton, year in and out. The employees are nice and the owner is cool. I can go anywhere, but I keep getting my pizza here. I don’t buy just a slice, I order a fresh one of a kind tailored to my taste. I strongly recommend that you come try it for yourself.

This is a great local place for students to hang out. I have a long break at fullerton college and usually find myself there over the school’s cafeteria.
They have a slice and soda combo for about $ 3.25, which is a great deal. They also have drink specials as well, $ 2.50 any bottle beer is my personal favorite.
If you love buffalo wings you MUST TRY their hot wings. The sauce they use is perfection. Their BBQ wings are yummy too.
They have a huge menu so whatever you’re in the mood for they probably have.
The staff is super nice too! One of my favorite spots in Downtown Fullerton.
