First time patron. Great attentive service. Beer was cold and fresh. Ordered some sandwiches and ribs, awesome! Definitely going back So I have been back. I moved to the neighborhood and it has been my go to friendly neighborhood watering hole. I usually just stop in for one on the way home or pick up pizza. Every Time has been great. No nonsense and great cold beer with excellent service.

Just left had BBQ sliders they were the worst I have ever had! The BBQ isn’t BBQ it is cooked in the oven. The food was tasteless told the bar tender Melody she didn’t care. There wasn’t a manager on site just overwhelms me with such bad food food and not even care. I paid my whole bill left her a very small tip. She could have made it right! Not only was the BBQ bad the potato salad had no taste swapped to baked beans not much better. I guess all of you people put up with inferior food because you don’t know better. I am from Atlanta I cook and I know good BBQ this is way far from it!!! Not even close I won’t be back they didn’t even make an adjustment to my bill. So sad for this crap and what we pay for here in California. Only thing that was good was the cold beer they didn’t make it! Tony Cain

Shuffle board, darts, and pool! Bartenders, regular patrons, and everyone here is just friendly and welcoming. $ 1 beers on Wednesdays and ½ off ribs on Tuesdays! Gets pretty packed on Wednesday nights! Fun décor, there’s no such thing as empty wall space there! My favorite piece is the jackalope

Brian’s is a sports bar located in a shopping center. I found it on Unilocal, looking for a place to meet up with a buddy of mine in between LA and San Diego to have a few beers. We were looking for a Dive Bar, and thought Brian’s would fit the mold. But it was actually a little nicer than expected, with a small outdoor seating area, a very large indoor area, a massive projector and several TVs. The service was a little slow, but very friendly. The beer selection was medium, with a few cool brews I recognized but rarely see(like Not Your Father’s Root Beer), but the selection of IPAs and Porters was lacking, and most of the best beers were bottled instead of on tap. Overall, In most facets, I’d rate the place four stars. But then we got to the main course… I went there expecting standard bar fare, deep fried everything with a side of grease. But it turns out, they had a full menu(think BJ’s, but a little smaller) and their specialty was Ribs. Both my buddy and I ordered the ribs, but with different sides, and they were OUTSTANDING. Best rack of ribs I’d had in a decade, and probably rates in my top 5 to 10 restaurants anywhere. The sides were excellent too, and the prices were actually quite reasonable — not rock-bottom prices, but good value for what we ordered. The fantastic meal is what knocks it up to 5* for me and, in the end, I’d highly recommending visiting Brian’s for some ribs and a few brews.

You must try the BBQ especially the ribs. These are the most mouth watering tasty ribs in town. Also, a must try is the steak breakfast on Saturday and Sunday for under $ 10.00. YUM! I’m not even going to write about this steak because you will need to go and get it to truly know what I’m talking about. Fantastic. The staff is super friendly and inviting. Watch the game and have a beer.

Came here for the Aldo Mcgregor fight. Very crowded. Had to stand the whole time. I should have expected this for such a big UFC event. Took a while to order drinks. Finally a waiter asked if my friend and I wanted to order something. I ordered a Coors Light. Definitely surprised how cold the beer was and the size of their mugs were huge. I think $ 6.00 for a 32 oz. Overall, I will give this place a try again and when I do I’ll make sure to show up at least two hours before the main event of the fight.

The key, in my opinion, is to talk. Talk to the staff, talk to the patrons. This is where you’ll find out how a place really treats its customers. I have been visiting Brian’s for almost three years now. It is my local bar after all. If you are a first time visitor, try and sit at the bar, and speak to the great bartenders, like Melanie and Laura, among the others, and if you happen to come in when Brian, the owner, is there, speak to him as well. They have ALWAYS been polite, always have time for you and are dedicated to making you feel welcome. You won’t get rowdy people there, not even on their Wednesday night drink special. It may be full, but knowing your bartenders only helps get you served quicker. Eat the ribs and chicken combo, or if an appetizer is more your mood, hit up the fried zucchini. Of course, you can always try some of their pickled eggs. Then, make certain you enjoy the conversations. When you speak to people, and stay off your phone, you’ll realize that this place will become like your own«Cheers» where people know your name and treat you like family. It’s the reason why my wife and I frequent Brian’s. Service like that is not common.

I love Brians(even though i’m not a big beer drinker)! Cheap ace beer and friends always call for a good time. A lot of your fellow titans come here too(CSUF). They accept cash and credit now, which is cool. You exchange that for poker chips and use that to redeem your beer! Yes, only few selections but still fun to come out here!

Liquor? Nope, I don’t like going down on chicks. But I love Brian’s Ribs!!! Go on Tuesday, after 6pm I believe, for the dinner specials where their meals are discounted and well worth the price. Tuesdays can be crowded, and service can suffer, but if you belly up to the bar you shouldn’t have a problem. Lots of locals, even one whom they let bring in their dog… But it is a local staple in Fullerton. Even the head coach of CSUF stops in for a beer now and then. Overall a great neighborhood spot.

The downer is beer & wine only and the TV’s arent top notch quality. Also, the crowd is kind of older compared to some other local sports bars like Big’s and The Bench. However, the service is very good, the BBQ they serve is top notch, and the crowd is always friendly. Wednesday nights are a staple for this bar. $ 1 beer night, the crowd gets much younger, and the bar is normally PACKED especially when school is in session at CSUF and FJC. I wish they would upgrade the TV’s and it would be cool if they had a full bar… but hey, I’m okay with beer and their selection is solid. This place is a good time, I’d recommend it.

In all honesty this place doesnt deserve any stars at all. It’s a beer bar with no booze, & the beer selection sucks. The place smells like piss, puke, & years of spilled beer. The service is poor, the crowd is my first beer type college kids and depressing townies. 5 nights of the week they close too early at midnight. So, the reason why it somehow gets 2 stars after all of those negatives. They’ve somehow managed to stay open all these years and if youre desperate for any old beer during the week in the evening before midnight, and dont wanna mess with DTF, you can count on them being there. That’s it. It’s slim pickin’s when youre in the North OC suburbs.

William B will often travel to North OC as a middle ground location to meet friends from LA. As planning and fate would have it, William B and Mrs. William B recently found themselves at Brian’s in Fullerton for meet, eat and drink. Brian’s is located in a strip center, off of Yorba Linda Blvd/Placentia(it is on the East side of the 57 from CSUF). It is conveniently located to the fwy, so traveling to Brian’s is not really an issue. Brian’s is paired with Mr. B’s which is a barbeque joint located next door. Ideally, this review should include thoughts on both the bar and the restaurant. Interestingly, the restaurant and bar share an open space(pass through window if you will) through the wall at the bar service area. The service window is approx 3’x3’, and patrons at the bar can order food from the restaurant without leaving the confines of this cozy little bar. When the order is ready, the food is delivered through the pass through window, and the bartender serves you your culinary bill of fare. This offers a very cool and unique touch to food service at this one of a kind sports bar. The bar itself features a full litany of beer(bottles, drafts and schooners), and some wine. The bar is not licensed for hard alcohol, which is probably just as well as there are no a-holes doing shots to lose their inhibitions. It appears to be heavily populated with regulars, and students from the local colleges. The wait-staff are attractive, and are more than competent to handle both drink and food orders. Inside, there is sometimes the odor of cleaning products which can dominate the room. Thankfully, the bar offers outdoor seating. Moreover, Brian’s invites you to have a drink and smoke on the sidewalk(it’s one of the few smoke friendly bars/restaurants left in OC where the persecuted smoker still has a place to call home). There is ample parking throughout the strip center, and William B never worries about parking the William B mobile at this establishment. William B will be returning for more barbeque(the barbeque beef sandwich is hearty and excellent) in the near future. As always, this is guaranteed.

Lovely simple bar with a(sister) BBQ restaurant next door and a cut out window in the wall so you can order food to be sent over. The bar only serves beer and wine but has a large selection. There is plenty of seating, a few video games, and one pool table. Last night the husband and I finally made it out for BABYBACKTUESDAYS! ½ of ribs dinners is a huge deal and worth every penny(dine-in only so it gets kinda busy). Anyway, there ribs are perfect… super tender and smoky, served a tangy BBQ sauce that isn’t really necessary because the ribs are already perfect(dinners also come with a bread roll and two sides.) (FYI– the bbq menu is mainly ribs & chicken but they have a few simple meals too, like chicken wings or tenders… and plenty of different sides to chose from)

It was near a buddies house and decided to go. Wasn’t too crowded, found a spot to sit. The bartenders were very attentive and very nice. The food was astronomical! Some of the best BBQ I’ve had lately(a couple of pitchers of loud mouth soup could have helped)… Lots of TV’s, very visible. The only problem is the pickled eggs sitting behind the bar. Lord knows if I get my friends too drunk there is going to be a showdown, but instead of one of us ending up like ‘Doc’ Holliday and Wyatt Earp I think it would be worse. Anyways I love the place, will be back. Head there.
