Only tried the wings but everything looks & smells amazing. Try all the wing flavors you won’t be disappointed. Stella cidre on tap, as well as palomino by bootleggers & shock top original. Also Danny is the man. BOOM!

I had approached them a while ago and told them that if they did not actively advertise the right way, that they would be closed within a year. They said my package was too expensive. I told them that it would cost them approximately 4 Crabby Crowds a month to do it right — they said no and that they could do it on their own… I tried to tell them. It was a local joint and never caught fire. The locals(I am one of them) were not even truly loyal… too many great restaurants in the area. They should go to Garden Grove and give it a whirl. Even if they advertise inside the restaurant that a customer could get 10% off with a Unilocal Check in or Review, at least that would be something to generate an online buzz… Sad to see them go either way — I hope they turn up again

It’s a 4.2 This is a better version of The Boiling Crab. It’s a bit small. There are no wait times, the menu is pretty identical except they have like a mixed bag where you can get crawfish, shrimp, crab, and other thing in one order. I would come here instead of waiting and hour or two at boiling crab.

Located in the cut. Don’t blink or you might miss your turn. This place is great. They are not really busy, and we get there fried shrimp and french fries. My daughter even likes coming here, but there is few parking near by and then a parking garage across the street. The employees are nice and I would love to go back, but as I am writing this review, I realize that they closed their restaurant. Oh how sad! I was salivating thinking about going out here. OK, I guess I took to long to write my review. ;-) lol

Such a Sad Swamp Story! I went so many times and took family/friends when they visited from out of town. On my mom’s last day of her trip in OC, I took her there… yesterday…for lunch. Only to find the doors closed, and everything boxed up. So sad! This place was so low key and so amazing! If they open anywhere else, I will follow! I understand rents are high in Fullerton, but will travel for the best shrimp po’boy ever! Ever! Ever! Please keep us posted with any updated locations!!! Will continue to support you wherever you go! Until then, you will be missed!

Closed!!! Cajun Swamp closed their doors for good on 6⁄21. This is tragic! one of the better restaurants in DTF and certainly one of my favorites is going away. My wife and I went on the 20th for a farewell meal of oysters. This was always such a fun place to eat with great food and employees who cared and remembered you when you came back. High rents drove them out. They will truly be missed. It was nice while it lasted.

Its sad to say that we discovered the restaurant to be closing down. We talked with the workers and they have confirmed. We are not from this area. We are willing to travel far for great quality seafood. Cajun swamp has it all!

Ok, so I cannot rate the restaurant as we got take out… The food was A MAZEING. We got the spicy shrimp with corn and potatoes, cheesy bread. It was a lot of food and easily the best Cajun food I have ever tasted. I look forward to returning to try other items.

Cajun Seafood Party, doubling as a Graduation Party for my nephew, my oldest nephew(boy, I’m getting old, lol) My sister could not have picked a better place. The second we walked through those doors, we were taken cared of. They put bibs on all of us and it was all smiles and what can we do for you. Excellent service, specially since there were 25 of us. The place is small, so we occupied most of the tables. When I got there the festivities were in full swing. Cajun seafood was on all the tables and a lot of yums going on. Here’s the rundown: The Crabby Crowd — This is just a bowl of seafood goodness. Alaskan Crab, Shrimps, Craw Fish, Mussels, Clams, Sausages, Potatoes, Corn, etc etc. all in a medium spiced cajun sauce. Everything was delicious. The crab was very meaty. The shrimps were big. The sausage was spicy(yummy, we where fighting for each of these morsels, lol). The corn was super good. I loved the mussels and clams, absolutely delicious. I’m not a craw fish fan, but they were good as well. The Sampler — A fried appetizer with Fish, Chicken, Shrimp, Craw Fish and Fries. The chicken was the kids favorite, that went first. I love the craw fish, because they were already shelled and of course fried, Yum! Can’t go wrong with this dish as well. Gumbo — OMG, that is one tasty gumbo. I was left with the dregs, but I know what I’ll be getting next time. Tip: ask for gloves, they have them and it’s so much better with them than without =) They have a wash station between the man’s and woman’s bathroom. Very convenient for those messy hands. From beginning to the end, we all had an enjoyable experience here at Cajun Swam. I’m a big fan! #Congratulations Shane!

Been here a couple of times, the first time is about the time it was brand new. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive as well as the chef who came out to tell us about our order and what to expect. That was kind of refreshing and nice to know. Went back more recently and the wait staff upon arrival was just OK. During the time there it was just OK as well. The food was pretty tasty but the portion sized felt a little less than before and no chef this time around which I can understand. When we were leaving, the staff said bye to us which was nice but at the same time felt like I was leaving a sushi restaurant? Not sure if it was the way they said it or with a slight accent? But overall still pretty good food and would return sometime down the road. Current favorite dish: Fish and chips, the tarter sauce was really good with them. Go out and EAT! UPDATE July 28, 2014: From what I was told and by recent reviews, Cajun Swamp has closed its doors. So sad, good luck out there!

Sharon’s Unilocal Review Location: Harbor and Commonwealth behind the back of the stores on the Harbor Blvd. First Impressions/Décor:Cajun, modern Food quality: 5 Stars The shrimp broil is awesome Service: 5 Stars Prompt and they checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Cost of meal: 5 Stars Average for seafood Cleanliness: 5 Stars Overall experience: 5 Stars I had a great experience. We go to Boiling crab a lot and this restaurant was actually better. Better choices, comparable and even better taste without the drive and wait. There are a lot of places to eat in Fullerton, but if you want seafood, especially shrimp this is the place to go. Hidden treasure of Fullerton…

3.5 stars 100stars for customer service. came here at 12AM& the cashier was a complete sweetheart, super funny girl. On the other hand the price here is kind of pricey & it’s not like other crawfish place im used to, such as Boiling crab. They dont sell by the pound. We ordered 2 apple ciders, crabby crab combo(2 corn, king crab, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, mussels, clams) The sauce was also decent. it came out to be around 45 $-60 $? sorry! i forgot how much, came here around a month ago. but i like that there was so much variety in one combo. BUT it was pricey for that amount of food.

The staff was incredibly nice, and accommodating. I ordered the Cajun shrimp boil(spicy) and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of flavor of the sauce. It was not spicy at all, and the sauce was cold when it got to us. Some of the shrimps were not fully cooked. ALSO the price of the shrimp was $ 17/LB!!! Which we were not informed of until we got the bill. I paid $ 45 for 2lbs of shrimp in flavorless sauce and garlic bread. Usually I go to Crawfish House or Wild crab and order the same thing plus additional entrees and my bill is usually $ 25-$ 30 including tip. I will not be returning here.

I have never been to New Orleans so yeah I’ll admit maybe I don’t know diddly squat about real or authentic Cajun food, but you know what??? I don’t care, this place is a delish! The food is really tasty and I don’t care what you all Boiling Crap lovers say, the spices here are better. The service here is not five star restaurant but the people are genuinely nice. We loved our server she was funny and very personable. I forgot her name but I really enjoyed having a conversation with her about the L.A. Hotdogs and the time she was so hungry she bit her thumb while eating a hot dog!!! Anyway I know hot dogs have nothing to do with Cajun food but the point of the story is that you have nice servers that can talk to you about anything! ANYTHING! Anyway… The Crabby Crowd is amazing! I honestly love the spices and portions! I always leave satisfied and happy. I just wish they were a little more consistent with the sauce on the Crabby Crowd it seems like it comes out depending on who the cook for the night is but otherwise it is still always delicious. So yeah I’m a fan of the Cajun Swamp.

I found this place on Unilocal and saw that they served in bowls and not the bags. This intrigued me. The bags usually cause the seafood to overcook as they sit on your table, locking all the heat in. Thank goodness for the bowl! We ordered the Crabby Crowd. It consists of King Crab(3 legs), Snow Crab(1 cluster), Crawfish(10?), Shrimp(10+), Mussels(8), Clams(10), Potatoes(2 small), Corn(2), Sausage(8pcs). These numbers are all estimates. What I can tell you for sure is that their seasoning(we got medium) was delicious and most of the seafood stayed perfectly cooked. The clams were a little disappointing, most of our shells were actually empty — we got to eat maybe 4 – 5? And they were overcooked and tough. The Crawfish were on the small side but cooked well. The Shrimp were huge, tender and juicy! Oh, the Corn!!! Super sweet and their wonderful seasoning all mixed together is a party in your mouth! The Crabby Crowd is something that I haven’t seen offered anywhere else… A combination of all the seafood and sides that you would want, and it was $ 38. Portion is enough to get two pudgy foodies extremely full and leave a couple pieces leftover. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They have a long sink located outside the restrooms. The restaurant is clean. Prices are fair. There was no wait at 6pm on a Friday. If they worked on getting larger clams and crawfish, it would easily be 5 stars. We had a fantastic experience here and can’t wait to come back!

We visited this place after a recommendation by a local for seafood joints and downtown Fullerton. After touring possible dining locations nearby, we still ended up going with them. The place is made of three small areas and a bar with a nice contemporary design. There are also plenty of TVs for sport entertainment here. We got here during happy hour by coincidence, which I believe it is from 5pm to 7pm, they have a happy hour menu with half off on everything. We ended up ordering everything off that menu, there were seafood gumbo, calamari, fish and chips, and wings. The gumbo was excellent, good way to start the meal! Even my co-worker from the south was impressed by it. Calamari was excellent with a right balance between softness and crunchy, and the Cajun flavor was great. The fish and chips were decent too, the fries were actually garlic fries. We got the wings with Cajun and were not disappointed, as they were very tasty. Cajun Swamp would be my pick for southern seafood if I visit Orange County again. Service was decent for the night. They definitely worth revisiting and recommending to friends from the south part of east coast.

It’s more 3.5 but… Something just wasn’t going to push it to 4… I’ll stay at 3 stars for now. My friends and I were craving boiling crab but we knew we weren’t going to make it in time for boiling crab so I Unilocaled any place near my house and cajun swamp was the ONLY place within 3 mile radius of my house! WOOTWOOT! :D The place was very small, not too many tables and one waitress«V» who was very kind very friendly and gave awesome service, gotta admit the service was kind of slow because she was the only person working. We looked at the menu and was confused for a good 3 – 4 minutes… WHATTHEFRACK??? for one order of shrimp it’s $ 13.99 and clams are $ 14.99 and crawfish was listed as «market price» that means it’s more than shrimp and clams. when I looked at the price I was kind of… skeptical because already then and there I started to compare them to boiling crab. We ordered 2 orders of shrimp with all corn instead of potatoes and sausages. The sauce is actually better than boiling crab to me. IMO. We got«spicy» and they sure did give us «spicy» I like it! But it is über salty … When we ordered 2 orders«V» told us that it should be more than enough. but… she was wrong until we ordered our extra 1 more shrimp order… THEN we were TOO full haha Why I’m giving them 3.5 stars. first their coke does not taste like COKE. HOWTHEHELLDOESTHECOKENOTTASTELIKECOKE?!(don’t ask me I’m asking them) hahah second… the shrimp was undercooked in the inside but over cooked on the outside. the shells were really limp and soft but the juice in the head was too slimy and trust me I know my shrimp heads. Cajun fries these weren’t bad at all but I do firmly believe that if they change their fries they’d get a LOT more fries orders. The fries are like old mcdonald’s fries with cajun seasoning, the seasonings good but the fries weren’t all there for me. Overall it wasn’t too bad. But it wasn’t a place I’d give 4 – 5 stars too. The service was awesome and the place was chill but there was something missing. I’d definitely go back to try their«combo» it’s all the seafood in the cajun sauce mmmm :) I don’t want to compare them to boiling crab because they are definitely different so if you’re going to try here, come with NOEXPECTATIONS! Then you might actually say it tastes better than boiling crab! :D
