Combo’s Pizza

I wish I could give this an extra star! Family owned and always friendly and awesome. I have had the Combo and the carne asada. My husband LOVES the carne asada. He is not the biggest pizza fan but will devour this! I have trouble with beef and so we got half with chicken and OMG!!! Not only did it taste delicious but it was seriously the most beautiful looking pizza ever. I should have taken pictures.
My husband was super happy about their happy hour and the long hours for happy hour! We will be back as often as we can! Keep this place in business!

Variety! There’s so much to try and it’s all so tasty. Calzone, carne asada pizza, Italian ice, even the salad is one of my favorites. Food is definitely made with love.

On their menu, their slogan is «Fast, Fresh, and Friendly» and they are all these things and more! The person talking to me on the phone was exceptionally kind and so were the people I met when I came to the restaurant in-​person.
I tried a Spanish Style Pizza here and was very impressed. I don’t love the taste of the chicken but it’s definitely not bad. The flavor was there and the crust was magnificent. Their pizza doesn’t get soggy like a lot of places’ pizza nowadays which I was really happy and surprised about.
I prefer this place over Two Saucy Broads, which I have been to numerous times in the past years. It’s tricky to get into the new location of TSB in terms of where they are located, and the parking there is frustratingly minimal. The last time I tried their pizza, which was last February in 2014, their (regular) pizza was so thin!
Don’t be fooled that this place has less reviews on Unilocal than some of the «bigger» name pizza places in the area. I had passed this place over many times before and now know what a mistake I had been making! Just try it and you won’t regret it :).

*Parking= Not difficult to find, though the plaza it is in is a little small
*Inside seating= Plentiful (doesn’t get overcrowded like most places around lunch)

TIP: Make sure to get the salsa they use for the carne asada pizza. It’s delicious!

CARNE ASADA PIZZA!!! what a great concept along with pastrami pizza. Although the carne pizza was a bit on the spicier side, it was pretty good. Their regular pizzas were good too.
The delivery was 5 STARS ! The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because I need to try other items in the future and also because of a slight problem I initially had when calling to place an order. The lady was nice but had to put me on hold to deal with other patrons which took a little longer than it should have so I hung up and decided to try using Unilocal’s Eat24 system. It was fast and easy to use. It will give you an email confirmation where you can also check the status of your order. For me it said delivery confirmation time is 6:41pm and at exactly 6:41pm the delivery guy rang my doorbell. It was unbelievably perfect timing! The pizzas arrived hot and fast, much better than Papa John’s. Will definitely frequent this again.

Initially frustrated at first because we ordered a pizza in the am, to be delivered to the kids later that evening. The time of arrival came and went so we called to find out the status. Unfortunately, the order never got forwarded on to the evening shift and there was no record of our order. We had to reorder.
However, I understand things happen and mistakes can be made. They more than made up for the issue. Upon picking up the order, they made it right. Even the guy making the pizza came out to talk to me. He spent extra time making the pizzas perfect.
I’ve had a lot of pizza in my day. This was the best pizza I’ve ever had in California. Definitely in top 5 worldwide that I’ve had.
I Will be a repeat customer on this one. Looking forward to try the pastrami pizza next.

We did dine in and used the Unilocal coupon. Small dining area bit it looked like their delivery was hopping.
Very reasonably priced. Yummy crust and sauce. Service was very friendly.
Not as extensive a menu as some of the other pizza places in Fullerton but they more than make up for it in value and quality.

I’m glad I found a pizza place to replace Top Class Pizza. They don’t have a huge menu like my usual pizza places but they make up for it in quality, service, and prompt delivery!
Food:
Combo pizza is great. Sauce tastes good, crust isn’t too thin or dry.
Buffalo chicken pizza: my favorite so far, but it’s lacking a little something… maybe onions?
Combo sticks… they’re more like diagonally cut french bread open faced slices. The portion for the price is great, and they are delicious. The best breadsticks I’ve had of any local pizza places in fullerton.
If you like top class pizza, you’ll like Combos more.
Their delivery is faster, their employees are nicer, and they have what appears to be tacos in pizza form which I am excited to try in the future.

I had to deduct stars for getting the wrong topping on my pizza this week. They didn’t take my name so I don’t see how they’ll make it up to me. I was told to just mention it to the owner or his wife but if their memory is like mine, it’s not gonna happen.
I asked for bacon, she confirmed bacon bits, when I got home… the pizza had Canadian bacon. Canadian bacon on pizza to me, is the worst topping you can put on a pizza, so the entire pizza was a waste of money to me. I will give them another shot if they’re willing to make my correct pizza free of charge or at least discounted. I don’t feel that’s too much to ask since my order was incorrect. Until then, 3 stars is the best I can do since one bad experience and one good is not sufficient for me to decide if I like them anymore.

Just ordered from this place and I only have one complaint (thats why they didnt get the full 5) but we’ll get to that.
So i ordered off of eat24 & the estimated delivery time was 45min-​an hour, they got the pizza here in 50 min. Also the delivery girl was very friendly + 1
I ordered a large pesto with mushrooms+sausage, the combo sticks (garlic, butter, parm), & a 2L soda. Everything came hot & ready to eat +2
I think the price was very fair. All of the above for 27 buck plus 3 dollars tip +1
Now heres where i held back on the last star, as soon as i opened up the pizza i could smell cinnamon? Im not sure if I’m imagining it or what but i could smell cinnamon. The pizza was def edible and toppings were good but i just couldnt really get over the cinnamon. I’m not sure if its an ingredient in their pesto sauce or what but im just not used to it. Besides that the pizza was still really good and the bread sticks were awesome. Especially since they came with two diff dipping sauces. I would def order from here again but i think ill skip the pesto

Fresh and flavorful! I’ve ordered delivery from here twice now and no complaints :) Oh and I also love that they have Arizona ice tea, goes great with a turkey sandwich! This is going to be the start of a beautiful relationship Hahaha

I called in my order for delivery because I didn’t see an option todo half and half. The person who took my order said that if use the online site you can order half/​half, just put it in the special instructions. I did half carne asada and half combo. It takes about 45 – 60 minutes, they delivered by 45 minutes and it was still piping hot! The crust was excellent, crispy and chewy at the same time, not too thick and not too thin. The carne asada was all that I was hoping for! Just enough kick and I never would have thought to put refried beans… very nice touch! The meat was cut just small enough to make it easy to eat and so flavorful! The combo side was good too but I couldn’t help but want to keep the carne asada side to myself! Next time I’m ordering half carne asada and half al pastor!
Update: I did finally order the half and half, alas it didn’t come out as expected and called the restaurant. The owner personally called me during the busiest time there to apologize and offer a replacement. That professionalism is what made me raise my review to 5 stars.

Pizza not bad. They messed up with toppings but I forgave them since I got 2 for 1 smalls with coupon. Crust is just average

Was looking for a local pizza place with online ordering, Combos far exceeded my expectations! Great pizza and great breadsticks, even delivered 30 minutes earlier than the expected time! Will definitely order again!

The family that runs this place is so nice and accommodating. The Carne Asada pizza is the best! Friends beg us to tell them where we got it. I will be a customer for life!

Got the vegetarian pizza and it was sooooo delicious.
The employees were genuinely nice and that’s something you don’t see too often.

Had some pizza delivered to our home. Excellent tasting pizza and quick delivery. Got half meat lovers and half buffalo chicken. Cooked perfect.
Their baked fries as also bomb! Goes great with ranch. Their salads are good to.
As fast as they got our pizza (25 min) to us and how good it tasted we will def be ordering from them again.

This place makes amazingly good pizzas. It was first introduced to us by my family friend. When my family and I first tried their carne asada pizza, it was melt in your mouth good. It was delicious and was to die for. The staff was very helpful and informative and they take good care of the customers. The manager was also very hands on with the customers and she was also as informative as the staff. Because of those reasons, I give this place a 5 star rating. Thumbs up

The food here is gross ! Everything was greasy, the pizza was bland, hard, and tasted like a day old little Cesar’s pizza. The cheese was gummy as well. The hot wings tasted like the frozen wings put in the oven, very mild and no sauce on the wings! Was disappointed in the food but I will give this place a 2 because a lady driver who came in after a delivery and won me over on her great customer service because the cashier who took the order was not interested in providing customer service at all. I will not return because the food was not great

I give them an A + for their customer service and an A for their carne asada pizza. The owner (or it may have been the manager) was very kind and reassured us that we will be receiving a fresh batch of pizza.

Wow. The folks at Combo’s are so nice! I am travelled from Michigan for work and was looking for a place with great pizza.
I called ahead and asked for something special. They had no problem whipping something up quick for me.
I had a thin crust, 10″ «Specialties». It was basically a deluxe. I loved it. Cutest was perfect, so was the sauce. The toppings were good too.
This place just became my top pick for pizza in the Fullerton region.

I love pizza and I’m always looking for new mom n pop places to eat at. I found this place on groupon, and I wasn’t disappointed.
First off Its a little pizza place, only 7 tables. I liked how nice and clean the place was kept. The owner was very nice and put cartoons on for my daughter.
Now to the pizza it was really good. The crust wasn’t to thick or greasy at all, Its more of a hand tossed crust. The toppings were great, they don’t hold back on them. I will be coming here again.
