I seriously love this place. The food is good and the environment is very chill and laid back. It’s a great place to hang out with your friends! Love coming here late at night. It’s a little hidden, you would have to walk all the way to the back of a kbbq restaurant to get to it. Definitely would come back again and again.

Fantastic service and many varieties of meat including seafood. Try the Bulgogi in black Angus or beef brisket. The salad is also refreshing as appetizers. We will come back for more…

Wow! Simply Wow! When they say all you can eat they seriously mean it! Such fresh meat and over 50 different options to choose from with a handful of many different banchan! Our waitress was amazing and looked so depressed after my husband and I said we were tapping out after 4 rounds of tons of meat! We will definitely be back more than we should admit!

Lychee soju and apple juice soju ftw! Love it!(15.99 each) Blue moon draft beer. Probably the only beer I can drink. Seafood pancake is pretty huge and very tasty. Fish cake soup is yummy and generous with the amount. Really good to have if you’re starting to get drunk. lol

This place is in the far back of another restaurant and the vibe is pretty cool when you come at night. The service is ehh, they have very little servers even when the place is packed so you have to flag down the waiters or walk up to the counter. This is more of a spot to drink and chill with your friends, yeah you can come here for just the food but there’s so much smoke in the air that I don’t think it’ll be a pleasant meal, esp if you’re not a smoker this place is gonna be hard for you because almost every table has smokers. Food wise, it’s ok, I like to order the egg rolly thing and the spicy rice cake and ramen, along with some beer and soju of course

Stopped by for a quick snack and few drinks and the must get for me is byul dak(fire chicken). Other dishes and stews are all consistently made well here. If it is your first time here, walk into the KBBQ and walk all the way to the back of the restaurant. There you will find a glass door just past the bathrooms and seat yourself.

This place has 2 or 3 different sections, bbq grill, and bar. First time coming here I didn’t know that we have to go to the bar in a different section because the waiter didn’t assist us where we want to be seated. Everything was very confusing and a lot of miscommunication. When we got to the bar we were seated in the corner where the back door is at, 10 people and out of all the empty spot… we were seated in the«forget about them» section. Literally we got forgotten a lot, even when it is right before their rush hour. The corn cheese got to be my #1 favorite and possibly my only favorite out of all the food we ordered, so we ordered 4 of them! Do try the lychee soju, and maybe the green apple too, but lychee is the bomb!

I like the food here and the atmosphere. A lot of Asian ppl hang out and it just reminds me of South Korea. Some friends wanted to meet up at this place today so we ordered soju with fries! The other stuff are good too but we had a late lunch so that was all we got. The flavored sojus are delicious! Citrus blueberry and pomogranate! Definately easier to drink compared to the original soju.

This is the closest thing you can get to what drinking in Korea feels like in this city. I love the«Cheese(bul-dahk) Fire Chicken». They bring it out on a square pan with chicken, spicy sauce, shredded cheese, and french fries. Once the cheese starts melting it becomes a HOT mess of PLEASEEATMENOW. The dish is pretty big for one person, so make sure to share. And me and my friends always ask for a side of rice to eat with it so it and also a(Oh-deng tang) Fish Cake Soup to wash it all down. These two items are the most popular, and I can clearly taste why.

For the food, I would give 5 stars. For the service, a 2. Thus, I only gave 3 stars. Their service was very slow and horrible. Waiters were running around and would stop if we called at them, but it would take us asking them 3 or more times before we got what we wanted.

Interesting korean bar. Translated to english, it means«butt hole» lol. It is located in the back of Moodaepo restaurant so it’s kind of hidden. Just walk past the restaurant bar, bbq tables, and past the restrooms and you’ll see it. The place is as legit as it comes in terms of casual korean bars. It’s loud, extremely smoky as people are puffing away like no other, and have large entrees for you to share and soak up the booze. The few draft beers they have on tap include Hoegarden, Coors, Sapporro, and shock top. They also have bottled beers, and flavored/unflavored soju. If you can stand the smoke, this is a pretty poppin’ place to hangout. Just remember that service is quite slow and that their menu is a bit pricy… 4 stars.

FREAKENLOVETHISBAR! This is what really remind me of a POJANGMACHA so it has a fun vibe & décor makes you feel like you are outside on the streets having some soju & simple ahn joo. The service is ALWAYS on point as if they TOTALLY love what they do… working while having fun & always keeping the mood of the place up beat! The food is DELICIOUS yet so simple & really hits the spot whether you are drinking or not! SPICYCHICKEN W/CHEESE — this thing is freaken ADDICTING burst of flavor in your mouth that you will never forget & continuously salivate in your mouth just thinking about the dish! Spicy flavors w/cheese just oozing all over & some french fries topped on w/chunks of rice cake to give some chewy texture! =] *drool* JJANGPPONGTAANG(SPICYSEAFOODSOUP) — typically a noodle soup dish at a Chinese resteraunt but they have it for just soup to slurp while you take your shots of soju with lots of clams & muscles along w/some blue crab & shrimps… perfect amount of spiciness & so much FLAVOR! KIMCHEESOUP — simple dish & best because the KIMCHEE was made properly & fermented to perfection for cooking soup This place makes me happy & busy w/eating especially when I am almost ALWAYS a designated driver. =]

My go-to sooljib(Korean bar) in OC, granted there aren’t that many in the area lol. I just love the atmosphere here. It’s set up to mimic the pojangmachas, or outdoor tented bars that you find in South Korea. You sit on stools, so if you have a bad back, you’ve been fairly warned! The atmosphere is usually very lively, but not to the point where it’s hard to converse. If you arrive later than 9 pm on the weekends, be prepared to wait. The place is pretty popular and it fills up pretty fast. The food is good as well, I have yet to be disappointed with my choices. Also, I love seeing the reaction of people to the name of the place. I still don’t get why they named the bar ddonggo, which literally means butt hole, but it’s fun so whatever.

I’ve been following ddong ggo on FB and they finally opened! First of all here is how you get there. Go inside Moodaepo Fullerton and say you’re going to the bar and it’s in the back of the restaurant. I know you’re thinking why go through the hassle? Why not open a back entrance? Well we thought that there maybe an entrance in the back so we drove behind it and realized all of the homeless people sleeping behind that entire plaza. Probably a reason why they won’t open an entrance in the back. a few months later… okay so time to finish this review LOL So my husband and I have been here a handful of times and we love it! The food is decently priced for a Korean bar and really delicious. We’ve eaten almost everything there and everything we had we really liked. Like other bars they have the soju and Korean beer, but they also have a hefeweizen and other beers on tap. I would highly recommend coming here if you like Korean food and want to drink!

I think its time for a review. I came here once and I was very disappointed and decided to give them another chance before my review was due. First time I went here was on a Thursday night. It was quite empty. There were mostly older crowd eating and drinking. There was a guy who looks like he was in mid 30’s, had his sandals off and placed his feet on an empty chair within his table. My boyfriend happened to seat directly facing him and lost appetite. I thought the guy had no manners/etiquettes to do such thing at a public place. So he sat facing away from then on. We ordered their Combo deal which was a pitcher of beer and one food from the menu. The prices varied by the food you chose. We went with the cheapest $ 12.99 because we werent that hungry. Sad thing was that the beer that comes with a Combo was Coors Light. We asked if we can change or pay extra and the waitress said that was impossible to do so. I didnt really get WHY they couldnt do it because when you look at their beer menu, all of them had exactly the same price. So I dont know why they would accomodate that. Whatever. We ordered stir-fried Korean sausage(Soondae Bokkeum), and it was so bad. All the sausages were out of its shape, glass noodles just flying everywhere on the plate and I hardly saw any Soondae in its round shape with inside filled. I think the chef stir-fried too hard, too much that they were overcooked somehow and decided to burst. So we didnt even feel like we were eating Soondae but some weird dish. The waitress was a bit rude and she did not check up on us at all. She was busy chatting with another server. Second time I went was on a Friday night. It was much more packed than last time. Servers were ‘nicer’ and seemed much more ‘hardworking’ than last time I came. Food was better, yet not too satisfying. Only dish I liked was Stir-fried Chicken Gizzard with garlic and onions in them. This one was worth trying. Cheese Spicy Chicken or Fire chicken(Cheese Booldak), was alright but it was a little too spicy for me. Friends also ordered the Spicy Pork Feet which I dont really eat and I tried by biting a piece of it and I just couldnt eat it because its just not my type of food. Worst was Oden Soup. It came out on a pretty large pot with odens on skewers but the soup was overpowering. It had soooooooooooooooo much pepper in them so it tasted so bad. I really dont know how to explain it but it was spicy and made my throat feel very itchy and uncomfy. On top of that, sliced jalapeños made it even spicier than it already is. I wouldnt recommend it. Nuh-uh. This place got full pretty fast later on and I definitely saw a lot more younger crowd than last time. I really wanted to like this place but its not as good as I expected. I may have had too much expectation and that is probably why I am so disappointed. They have a separate and own private entrance to Ddong Kko in the back of the building but its kind of scary there. I would just parkin in the front and walk through Moodaepo. The ambiance is like a Korean ‘Pocha’ style which I kind of like but I rather go to Zoomak for their food and great service.
