In the mood for a petite European villa with garden, but can’t afford the flight? Don’t fret. Just visit Le Potager. I drove from Laguna Beach to Fullerton just to visit this place. And it was so worth it. It is tucked away in a busy downtown street, and makes me think of a secret garden. Small, but oh so very charming. The freeway traffic melted away the moment I stepped through the gate and into a gorgeous courtyard stocked with boxwood – someone else loves formal boxwood, thank you! Flowers, running fountains, birds(because how could they resist?). The interior is just as charming. Downstairs, upstairs and a small«outside/inside» room. It appears to have originally been a house which the owners(husband and wife, I think?) converted into a shop; but a shop which could easily be a petite château tucked into the French countryside. To top it off, one of the owners was there and we chatted about sourcing statues and creating small gardens. She was pleasant and charming. She told me they have a service in which they will plan an entire garden/yard or come to an existing one to make suggestions. I plan to take her up on that.

What a great little shop, in the heart of Fullerton. I found wonderful gifts for my dear friends. The owner was friendly and helpful. He answered questions, but left me alone while I browsed at my preferred leisurely pace. What a plus that is to find in a small business!

I cannot express how much I LOVE this store. Things are a range of prices, so there is something for everyone. I am getting rid of stuff right now, which helps me not want to buy EVERYTHING I see there in my price range.

Went to their Paris Flea Market and found some really great things. Store had a sale that day too so picked up some french soaps and french mustard and a cool birthday card. They packed it all up for me… I was ready for the birthday party! Super nice people.

I love, love, love the faulous arrangement that the owners of LePotager created for my home. Never, in twenty five years, has my home looked so beautiful. A friend stated that the centerpiece was absolutely breathtaking. That is the perfect word to descibe the work done by this store. My house now has that special look that it had lacked. Thanks to LePotager for the extra effort in ensuring perfection. For those who have not had the fortune to visit this store, GO! It is the most beautiful, romantic, unique store in Orange County. It is a true feast for the eyes. When you visit don’t forget to get a jar of the French Caramel sauce. «Yummy»…I can’t wait for spring when the new shipment of honey arrives. I recently had a dinner party and it was the hit. Served over wheat crackers and bleu cheese it was so simple yet delicious. Just make sure you leave a jar for me.

Do yourself a favor and shop at this store! There is no where else in the southern California region where one can find such amazing home décor items. Everyone I’ve purchased gifts for from Le Potager has loved them. John and Jennifer have the best eye for elegant and original home décor. Shop at Le Potager for beautiful and unique gifts!

LOVE this store. They have the most unique gifts in Orange County and it’s always changing. The prices are very reasonable and the owners, John and Jen, are really helpful and nice. Hit this place up.
