This is a cool place to walk around if you just so happen to be in Fullerton on a Saturday afternoon. Located in the parking lot of Carpe Diem, there’s a variety of antiques, local vendors and people selling handmade goods. Most accept credit cards, so feel free to splurge away. The market isn’t very big so you can get through it pretty quick even while stopping to look at everything. There seems to be more vendors around the holidays when everyone is in the shopping spirit. It’s a great place to pick up some unique and one-of-kind gifts for those special people on your list. Most of the vendors seem to be the same from week-to-week, but the stuff they offer tends to change. Parking is easy — just utilize the structure off of Santa Fe across the street from The Continental Room. Even on the busiest of days, you can find a spot without any problems. Like I said, it’s worth checking out if you’re down there already!

Good, fun stop for Saturday morning. It’s the first Saturday of every month, from 10am –4pm. There are probably 20 vendors, all with different stuff. Not overly crowded. There’s some vendors with industrial/vintage style shabby chic pieces, another with wood planters for succulents, hat stand, etc. I like that they have live music. Tips: Park in the structure across the street, plenty of spaces. Have lunch at the Heroes Bar & Grill — delicious!

I went to this flea market and found quite a few treasures. From vintage jewelry, to old steamer trunks, to vintage linens, this market has a little bit of something for everyone.

On the first Saturday of each month, a flea market pops up behind Carpe Diem in the SOCO District. I found a first edition of The Godfather, cast iron mermaid bottle openers, jugs, insulators, wine crates, jewelry, buttons, antique registers and phones, and so much more. This flea market is small but worth a stop if you live in North OC. Parking is a breeze because of the new parking structure and there is no entrance fee. Some of the stuff is newer jewelry and crafts and some of it looks plucked from Goodwill, but there are some sweet antiques here like a vintage game of Yahtzee in fabulous condition. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into vintage.
