Unique, vibey, dark, creative art gallery right there in some prime real estate of downtown Fullerton. This place is full of hand made concept art pieces crafted from antiques and re-purposed by Adam Watts. Seriously a must see.

Pretty neat, little gallery in the SoCo District off Harbor full of bizarre pieces by Orange County artist Adam Watts. And I say«bizarre» with love. When it makes you stop and stare agape, trying to make sense of it all in your head, it’s really cool. Most of the pieces were mixed media consisting of bones and skulls, antique medical instruments and cameras, gas masks, doll heads, wood, rope, and a wide assortment of other odds and ends. Creeped myself out with the picture with the cut-out eyes. You walk up and look in them and there’s the face reflected in a mirror within the box and you see your bugged out eyes looking back at you from the rugged man’s face. Best of all is discovering that all of these things were created by a man famous for writing and performing contemporary Christian music. Freaking cool, man. The exhibit space is GREAT with brick arches over the doors, wood paneling, and low-lighting. You walk in the door and to the right is an old dentist chair set up like a photobooth. You can sit in and an antique camera takes your photo, which you can have printed for a dollar.

I made a wrong turn down the alley after a few beers and sausages at Joe’s and ended up at the Internal Gallery & Oddties. OK so I was drawn in like a lemming with the word«Oddities». I’m a sucker for the offbeat and wierd. What a cool find! Artist Adam Watts has an smallish unusual gallery thats within the Carpe Diem Experience complex in Old Town Fullerton’s SOCO District. Upon entering I felt the steampunkish art and the maccabe migrate within each others realms. And after initally viewing a few of the first displays I began to really dig this place. I thought this is cool what else do they have going on. Theres a nice peek a boo booth where you can see yourself through the eyes of a couple of homless men. Kind of hypnotizing. Lots of wierd mixed art to see. This is a smallish gallery but boasts some off the wall displays. Oh yea they have a few bracelets and things tagged for sale. Free entrada. They also have a private parking lot right behind the store. A big plus in the SOCO. This a DTF original. A why not see for all.
