I usually come to PAS at least once a month since they are a part of the Fullerton Art Walk. They always have some pretty strong exhibitions with a good variety of mediums. Since it’s part of the Magoski Arts Colony, it’s connected to Violet Hour, Hibbleton and a few other small places showcasing some amazing talents. Going through the galleries, it can take a little while if you stop and look at all the pieces and because of the space connection, you sometimes will walk from one gallery into another one and not even know you’ve done so. Parking is a breeze now that there is a new structure off of Santa Fe and Harbor. No more circling the block looking for a space. It’s conveniently right in front o the gallery and adjacent to Heroes and the Continental room in case you want some drinks before or after your cultural experience. Even if you don’t go on Art Walk night, stop by anyways. It’s free and they support a lot of established and unknown artists in the area!

How does this place only have 3 reviews?! I see hundreds of people passing through this place every time I stop by during one of Fullerton’s monthly Art Walks and you all seem to be having a pretty grand time! Maybe gallery goers =/= Unilocalers? Well, here’s another 5 star review in hopes that more people are encouraged to write and check this place out. I think this gallery has been open in the Magoski Art Colony, which also houses Violet Hour and Hibbleton galleries, for over two years now. Each time I’ve visited PÄS there is something new going on as far as the layout, and I love that. The space is in a constant state of change and evolution and looks better and better each time I’m there. There is always quality artwork on display and tons of locals in attendance, not just scurrying through the gallery in a hurry, but actually taking the time to stop and appreciate the work and start a conversation about it. I love the vibe and don’t ever feel out of place or uncomfortable because the place is welcoming and the opposite of pretentious. Finding parking during Art Walk used to be a nightmare and a half! BUT! There really isn’t any excuse not to visit anymore, since the shiny, new parking structure on Santa Fe Ave. across the street makes visiting this area of Fullerton a breeze, even on a bustling Friday evening.

LOVEIT. Cash only for the zines, etc. Love all the different, eclectic, random art. I stopped in to see a huge piece of artwork that my friend had collaborated on. It’s a pretty large gallery They serve alcohol! Live music Food truck outside No standard artwork here All the people that were hosting were awesome and down to earth. NOYUPPIES. OH and tons of parking — which is a plus considering it’s in DTF. I went during the«FEAST» — it was awesomeeeee

I’m definitely a fan of the local artistry. Having grown up in a city back in old Chicago, IL there is rich history, a lot of color, visual and performing artistry that magnifies the culture and essence of the city and that’s what I found here at PAS. This isn’t Getty center or the Norton Simon. You can get close to the art, talk to the artists and even talk to the owners, Brian and Kristi, who can regularly be seen roaming the gallery. There are no guards looming over you. It’s literally a warehouse renovated to entertain creativity with a bare minimum on where you can go. And while it isn’t the biggest gallery it feels not just so, but more like a community where people are always chattering about their work and new projects. It’s not a library, that’s for certain. Even if you’re not a big art fan, it’s close enough of a walk from Downtown Fullerton’s regular diversions where you can just hang out, enjoy a few glasses of wine and great company. And if this place wasn’t good enough they’ll usually have a local band or DJ set up for your viewing /listening entertainment.

Thanks Brian and PAS Gallery for the incredible John Sollum paintings we acquired during your recent show. You set the standard for gallery owners and we can’t say enough of how much we enjoy your space.

PAS Gallery is located in the emerging art colony of Downtown Fullerton which is made up of three unique art galleries: PAS, Hibbleton and The Violet Hour. You can walk seamlessly from PAS to Hibbleton and end up in the acid trip that is the Violet Hour. The three galleries combined are an explosion of paint, polyester and punk rock in your face. PAS is innovative in it’s shows and strives not only to show you new art, but give you a new perspective as well. They are always offering workshops and classes to the community. Whatever they do at PAS it’s done with tons of love — it’s a clear reflection of it’s owners Brian and Kristy Prince, who are friendly, passionate and all around good people. You should definitely hit up the next artwalk in Fullerton(First Friday of the month) and stop by PAS and see what they have to amaze you with.

I was only here once. It was for the artwalk a couple months ago.(If you don’t know, the artwalk happens the first friday of every month in downtown Fullerton. Many of the shops participate by putting up the work of local artists and some places have free food and live bands. It’s totally free and you HAVE to check it! I think it’s from 6−10pm.) There were photographs and painting all over the walls, free vegan food, free pins, a pinmaker to make your own pins for free, but you could also dontate money. There was also a photobooth and a bucket with random funny accessories to borrow for the pictures. There was a separate room with couches to sit and a place to get drinks. Outside people were selling clothes and things they made and there were mannequin heads with glittery makeup and pink wigs and fun hats. There was also a really awesome live band. The owner was very nice and although I have no idea what he uses the space for the rest of the time, I can’t wait for the next artwalk. This is their Facebook page and their website:
