This is the best spot to get your wetsuit repairs. I ordered a custom 2 piece farmer John with hood and couldn’t be more happier with it. Teresa is such a nice lady to work with. She keeps altering my wetsuit and hood to fit perfectly and fixed my booties for free. I totally recommend her shop. 7 mm wet suit keeps me warm for California diving and it’s so easy to put it on.

Five star service! So here’s my story: I put on some weight, primarily in the legs(gack), and she fixed my wetsuit to fit me like a champ! She even fixed tightness and discomfort in the neck and shoulder area that I had been dealing with since first buying my custom suit(made by another place). Best yet, she fixed it in a day! If you get her voicemail, leave a message. She will call back. I rarely ever take the time to review someone on Unilocal, but I am over-the-top happy with her service!

Theresa you rock, back when I wanted to have a suit altered you gave me your 100% opinion, since then you will always get my referral, matter of fact recently I referred a member from our new dive group Slippery When Wet Divers AKA Scuba Diving in Orange County to you(Joanne) and she praises what great customer service you gave to her on a custom fit suit. You will always have my referral even if you talked me into getting a dry suit for what my needs were. THANKYOUAGAINFORYOURGREATCUSTOMERSERVICE. Greg H

Just thought I’d share information about a great wetsuit repair shop in Fullerton. Last Sunday while swimming at Naples, there was a noticeable opening by the zipper in the back of my wetsuit. One of my biggest fears of finally bursting out of my wetsuit finally came true. Haha! Seriously, I started to panic because my triathlon was next week. I had a few options. I could buy a new wetsuit or rent one. While they were both possibilities, I didn’t want to try anything new this close to the event. The next option was to use the wetsuit I had and to make repairs myself. Fortunately, I’m a terrible seamstress so I sought another option. While at Sports Chalet in Brea looking for wetsuit glue, the folks at the dive shop suggested contacting a local repair shop. If you google wetsuit repair the closest one is in Encinitas or Leucadia in Northern San Diego County. I was afraid he was going to send me over 100 miles to get it fixed! To my surprise, the place he suggested is in Fullerton. I dialed the place on a whim and left a message. Since it was Labor Day when I called, I didn’t expect a response until the following day. I also wasn’t sure how much or how long it would take. So, I left the best and most creative«Poor-Me» message. Again to my surprise, the owner, Theresa Dye, called me back. She said come by tomorrow morning and we could probably fix it while you wait. That following morning I went to their shop and sure enough they fixed it right away. The total cost was $ 10. If you ever need your wetsuit repaired or even adjusted, you may want to consider this place. They specialize in wetsuit customization, alterations, and repairs.

This business does one thing. .. makes custom wetsuits. .. and it does it very well. To my knowledge, their advertising is strictly word-of-mouth, but they have garnered qute a reputation among the Southern California diving community. I found out about them from other divers and paid them a visit when my wife’s wetsuit became too tight in the neck. The owner, Theresa Dye, made some alterations while we ate lunch nearby. I had a custom 7-mil beanie made at the same time. Bothf were done while we were at lunch. I’ve had other alterations made since that time, and my dive buddy had custom wetsuits made for his wife, and daughter. The cost was probably a bit less then you’d pay for an off-the-shelf wetsuit of similar quality. If you find yourself in need of a new wetsuit, hood, etc, and are having trouble finding one that fits right, you might give them a call and make an appointment. Simple things can usually be one while you wait. A custom suit involves 2 visits. .. one for measurements and a follow up to check fit and make any minor adjustments you want. Remember to make an appointment. If they don’t have a lot going on, they close early or may even take days off. Sure wish I had those hours.
