I use to come here to buy my shoes but in the last 4 years the quality has changed. The material has changed while the price has remained the same or increased.

I came here look for some nice flats… I found two pairs for a good deal. That’s the only good thing about this store. The employees don’t pay attention to you at all.

ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! Don’t shop here! I tried to exchange a shoe that had broke after wearing it a few times and the sales lady tried to charge me for it. She was so rude and belittled me for trying to exchange them.

I came here looking to buy a pair of cute flats that I saw online and the website said they had them at this location. I also needed some brown flats because I don’t have any and they are kind of a staple. The ladies working were super nice when I walked in. I looked at my size 11 section, yes my feet are big, I’m 5’11″, and found a decent pair of brown flats for cheap. I didn’t see the other flats from online so I asked the ladies. I showed them the picture and they looked in their system. It showed that they are only sold online. That was annoying since the website said they were sold online and in-store, and that they were at this location. The girls told me I could order them and pick them up in a week and I could use the BOGO. Ok, fine. So I ordered them and it was not a big deal. So I waited. And waited. … … … And finally a week and 5 days later they call to tell me the shoes have arrived! Yay! New shoes! I go in the next day and the same lady is there. I tell her why I’m there and she finds the shoes and I try them on. Too small. Great. She asks if want to order the size up and I tell her I’m over it and I don’t like ordering size 12 shoes cause it’s depressing. She looks at me like I’m crazy, which I am but c’mon, and I ask for a refund instead. She asks for the receipt and I tell her it’s unlikely that I will find it and she just stares at me confused. She then tells me that she can only give me store credit. I do not like this. No. Then she suggests that I look at the shoes to see if theres anything else I want. I do this, see nothing because the amount of cute shoes goes down as the shoe size goes up, and go back to her asking her how I can get my money back. I ask her if she can just swipe my card and look it up that way, and she seems to think this may work. Now, I don’t know why I decided to tell her this, but I told her that I lost my debit card and have a new one and I was wondering if it would work because it’s a new card number. She was utterly confused. I quickly realized that it shouldn’t matter, but by this time the manager had to get involved and she didn’t seem to know more than the first lady. After way too long and some killing of my brain cells, they figured out how to work their system and I got my money back directly on my card. I don’t think big chains like this should be worried about receipts these days. It’s not 1999. The computer systems are smarter than most of the employees and they should be capable of tracking peoples purchases without the customer having to keep track of a tiny paper. Unintelligent customer service. No thank you.

The lady working there was very sweet and helpful. I think this location has a GREAT selection. It’s one of the bigger Payless stores that I’ve been to, but it was really organized.

So walk around to front, sign says go back to side entrance. Not a big deal, but did irritate me. No really helpful in store and when got to register they weren’t taking credit cards. Long line and rejections, if I had more time I’d go elsewhere.

Steer clear of this store. They’ll sell you«kind of» worn shoes and then blame it on you. You can’t get your money back but they will gladly let you exchange. Business must be that bad that they’ll give you any bs excuse to hold on to your money.
