It can’t possibly get better then the Spring Tea Garden for a tea party!!! I know, because I brought 50 of my OC Women’s Art, Theater & Culture Group here, and it was just a blast, the food exceptional, not like any other tea house, where you leave hungry from tiny sandwiches. Our servers Gracia, Laura & Martha were the best! The teapots were quickly replaced the minute we got low, and Letty who handles the ordering of the food took care of everything, being sure we got just the teas we wanted, and asking if there were any dietary concerns she needed to take care of for us. This was the first tea with my group of 600 women that we’ve done, and I was spoiled by these women today, it can’t possibly get any better then our experience today, it was perfect. The hats they make available to all their patrons were a real added bonus and fun to wear with more then enough for all of us. I plan on taking the gals back whenever they have availability and will be willing to host another spectacular event! Also, I want to thank Shelly & Michael for keeping on top of me to give you the exact number of attendees, to be sure you had enough sandwiches made. There must have been 5 or 6 difference sandwich choices, and to have them made on croissants and not those little thin pieces of bread was a real treat. The scones were the best I’ve ever tasted, even in London! Spring Tea Garden is a must for anyone who appreciates and enjoys a fabulous tea party, you won’t be disappointed!!! I would have loved to have a wedding shower here, it’s the perfect place.

Stopped in here on 10÷30÷15 to try it out for a 50th birthday party. The location was easy to see from the street because the building is large and right on the corner but we did have to go around the street to find the parking because I missed the left turn. Parking was easy and we walked straight in and straight upstairs, easy. There is an elevator in the event you need one. We didn’t make reservations and it wasn’t an issue because it was a Friday morning. The room is a decent size especially if you compare it to other tea houses which are typically very small and very crowded. Everything is laid out spaciously and none of the tables are crowded in. There is a large rack of hats that can be used. Some do need to be replaced but I have yet to see a tea house that offers hats so I think this is a bonus. There are 5 finger sandwich choices of tuna, egg, cucumber, tomato and avocado. There are also smoked turkey and smoked ham croissant sandwiches as well but we didn’t try those. The scones are amazing! I was unsure about only being able to get an orange cranberry scone but none of the flavors were overwhelming and they were very delicious and fresh! The clotted cream and jam were great! There are many teas to choose from and we got the ginger peach which was delicious and the ginger was not at all overwhelming which I was worried about. Our server Gracia was very friendly and helpful and prompt at taking care of us but not overwhelming us at all. She was also happy to answer questions about having our party there. We are allowed to bring in a cake for our event and flowers for the table if we choose to but don’t have to because there are pretty flowers already on the table. I only give it 4 stars because I’d like to see a salad and soup on the menu. We will be back again!

I’ve been to this location twice and both times I enjoyed it. The most recent one was a bridal shower that my friend and I threw for my best friend. We kept going back and forth between what location we wanted to have it at, and this place was both affordable and local. I literally made a reservation for this place about a week and a half before the shower and emailed them to try to make a reservation because they are closed a couple days out of the week. I was SO shocked when I got a call back right away(bc they were closed) and I was able to secure a time. Just my luck tho, I scheduled the shower the same day Fullerton decided to close Harbor Blvd for a small parade. Parking normally is very good and this is located on the 2nd story. The room isn’t the biggest location, but it is cozy and still very adorable. The hats should be replaced… A lot of them are broken.(i brought my own) but it is still nice that you get to put some on. The scones with cream and jam are amazing… like SERIOUSLY amazing. If anything, come for that. The croissant sandwiches they had were very tasty as well and the fruit was in season and great. Tea sandwiches were ok… not the best but not the worst I like desserts, and this is one thing this location does not have on point. Which sucks, bc i love desserts. and the cuter the better. Oh yeah… and the tea is pretty good. We had the Green tea tropical and it had just the right amount of fruity flavor to the tea, and wasn’t too overwhelming. This is a nice place to visit with your girlfriends or for a special event. Affordable and the service was nice too.

We went to check this tea room /banquet hall for setting up a event. The food is meh. Costco type croissants, sandwiches made from supermarket sliced bread where some pieces have the crust trimmed and some dont, generic desert bars, and Sysco tasting crème for your scones… this all leaves for a very unpolished and forgettable tea experience. It’s only $ 18 bucks which is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Elegant and bright dining room, charming building, and budget friendly, but not a great tea place. We took our event business elsewhere.

I love tea, and we thought it would be great to get a lot of my family together at a local tea house when I came to visit. This place was a little confusing for some of us to find since it was inside a banquet hall and not it’s own shop. But we all made it. The first thing we thought was weird was that they had a rule for groups of 6 or more you could only order 2 teas. Like, what? There were at least a dozen of us. And most tea houses you get your own personal tea. Then, the lunches were about $ 19 each. Like, super expensive. At least if it was per person, that was pretty pricey. But I’m not sure if that’s what it came out too since all the food was served on shared platters. The only food I tried were the triangle sandwiches which had super dry bread that seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. It was good otherwise. The fruit was also fresh and good. But they also served us croissant sandwiches, scones, and little dessert cake bars. Everything was served very beautifully. We paid the $ 5 extra to order more tea, and had the British Breakfast Tea, The Earl Grey, Vanilla Almond, and one other I didn’t get to try as it was on the opposite end of the table. My favorite was the vanilla almond. But I love dessert teas. Service was good for there only being one lady working. My grandma wasn’t a fan though, she chewed her out later for who knows what. But the server continued being nice and took our group photos for us. They had the wild hats in one corner like they often do at tea houses. Some of us picked out hats to wear, and some, like me, had them forced upon us. It’s an acceptable tea house that was able to accommodate our large group, but I’m not a huge fan.

Whenever my friend and I see a groupon deal for tea places, we try to buy it as soon as possible. Here is the breakdown for this tea location: Location: pretty difficult to find at first. Go inside the building and look for a lady sitting down at a table if you get lost. There was plenty of parking though Staff/service: there was only one woman working. The room itself isn’t large, but still… with only one person working, it is hard to get the quality service you want. We were a party of two but the waitress only paid attention to the larger party that was there. Food quality: not too bad, but very forgettable. I could tell some of the food was not freshly prepared, especially the dessert. The tea was also very underwhelming compared to other tea places. I would only recommend this place for larger parties that are looking for a place with not a lot of other distractions. You are basically almost getting the whole room to yourselves if you come with a larger party. Good for bridal or baby showers. Otherwise, I would recommend other places for some good tea.

So I went to this place today with two of my friends and after reading some negative reviews, I’m glad I still decided to check it out on my own! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed tea time here with the lunch that we ordered. For $ 18.95 I got two turkey croissant sandwiches, 3 finger sandwiches, a mini dessert, fruits, scones which were so fresh and an individual pot of tea. This place is a banquet hall with a tea room inside, it’s a nice place to have a big event so will definitely keep it mind for future reference. The location of this place is in the heart of downtown Fullerton which itself is a lively area. I will definitely be coming back!

You know a place isn’t great if you find yourself constantly comparing its every aspect to other businesses. Now and I’ve been to other tea rooms and knew what I was getting myself into, so I’m not here to complain about the tiny tea sandwiches. But from the start to the finish, here are my legitimate complaints: 1. The tea space is only a small part of this banquet building, but there are no signs until you’ve found your own way to the room. 2. I understand it’s a banqueting business and things should be clean, but the place was sterile with a ‘we only care for your money’ feel. For a spring tea garden luncheon, décor was sparse and overwhelmed by electrical wires and thundering machine noises. In addition, you can watch people negotiating prices for future events right by the door… 3. I would empathize with the single server working, except she really only had my table to tend to. She often disappeared and kept forgetting our requests for sugar, cream, coffee, etc… 4. Espresso machine was broken and the server didn’t know how to make coffee. 5. The tea spread was nice looking except there was no ‘tea service’ with it. For example, ‘have you had tea with us before?’; ‘these are your finger sandwiches, there’s tomato cream cheese…’; or ‘please help yourself to the hats in the corner.’ Plus our teapots were labeled by tiny post-it notes. 6. I expected real sugar cubes, not sweetner packets, for my tea. 7. Devonshire cream was yummy, but scones was dry, crisp, and more like a cracker. 8. Tea sandwiches were dry as if they were assembled and have been waiting to be served from downstairs since morning. Price is slightly cheaper compared to other tea rooms but not worth the experience.

This is a lovely location for a spot of tea and scones. Very nice for a girls day out. Birthdays, showers, or just for fun. Small and large groups can be accommodated. The room feels light and bright with the large windows. The décor is charming without being cluttered, like a favorite grandmothers sitting room. Some of the tea cups needed to be retired with rings inside, but most were in great shape and pretty to look at. The tea we selected were the British breakfast and ginger peach. Both had distinctive flavors, but I preferred the ginger peach. The scones with cream and jam are super tasty. The tea sandwiches included, avocado, cucumber, egg salad, and tomato. All had good filling, I just wanted more filling in each. Also some of the bread was not consistent and fresh tasting. The croissant sandwiches were good, but I would have liked something other than a sandwich since there were already tea sandwiches. The fruit salad was fresh and delicious. The petit fours were good. The air conditioner was not working that day. It wasn’t the warmest day, but it did make the experience lose a point. The service was good. Our sever was attentive. The only recommendation would be that they explain what is being served. Everything comes out all at once here, and without any details. It’s courteous to explain what’s in the sandwiches, and what kind of scone we are enjoying, especially at tea time.

Had a tea party here for my birthday-booking was a piece of cake. We had the spring tea luncheon and raspberry tea. The scones and devonshire cream were amazing. Nice location and lots of décor. No complaints about service. Price is reasonable.

Gorgeous little spot that is hidden away. I lived in Anaheim all my life and I had no idea this gem was here! I loved almost everything here — the calm atmosphere, the wonderful service, the cutest teacups and tea pots and small dishes you can get. Even though the menu is quite small– mostly sandwiches, sweets, and fruit– I liked all of them. The scones came out nice and warm and with a side of jam and Devonshire cream. Me and my friend got the luncheon special so we got to sample everything, and for 15.95! Seriously cheap compared to other tea places I’ve been to.

The Spring Tea Garden was a beautiful venue for my sister’s bridal shower! We had such a wonderful time here! Booking the tea room was incredibly easy. The day of, I was able to go there early and set up. You don’t really need to decorate too much because it’s very beautiful to begin with! The price was also reasonable. There were also fun hats for everyone to wear! The service was also awesome.(I forgot the name of our hostess but she was always there to make sure everything was going well). We had a group of about 25, and we were able to use about half the room. There was another small party but it wasn’t a problem. We were still able to play games and such. The food was delicious. Finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, scones, and lemon tarts! The tea was also delicious– you were able to chose two types of tea. There is also plenty of parking! Overall, awesome place!

My sister and I love tea houses. More than anything, we love to dress the part with hats, gloves, pearls. You name it. For her bridal shower, I reserved a table for 10 people at Spring Tea Garden. Reservations were a breeze. The only thing is that for 10 or more people, you may be asked for a deposit. I wasn’t asked, but had heard that if the guest # increased, I might need to deposit $ 100 to hold my table. The day came and I arrived with my own decorations, hats and lots of games. The tea attendant, Elizabeth was a life saver. When she saw how much stuff I was bringing for the shower, she offered me the largest table for gifts and such. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, while maintaining a close eye on the other guests who were there attending a baby shower. After setting up some decoration on our two tables, our shower guests began arriving. I miscounted and had to rush over to Elizabeth to set up three more chairs. She did this immediately, and with a smile. The food was brought out at some point(I was probably greeting guests so didn’t notice). The finger sandwiches were delicate and tasty. The tea was hot and yummy. Everyone commented about how great the ginger peach tasted. I had the Earl Gray. I liked it a lot. My only complain was that for a party of 12, we only could have two tea flavors. But that’s it for complaints. I never even tried out the hats they offered to their guests. I’ve been to enough tea places that have hats and boas. I usually bring my own because I like leaving the place in my full tea outfit :) For my sister’s shower I brought hats and gloves for all of our guests. These were found inexpensively on Ebay. Spring Tea Garden has plenty of parking in the back of the building. A big plus! There’s an elevator and wheelchair ramp on the bottom level. Another plus for anyone who has difficulty moving about or needs to bring lots of presents, decorations, etc. in a dolly(that was me!). And finally, the tea room is a large open space where guests could move freely without feeling cramped. Many tea places could not have accommodated 12 people comfortably. My experience has been that tea places tend to be very cramped. And while the venue is large and open, I never felt that it was cold or that I couldn’t talk loud. Our group was a happy and jovial bunch — lots of laughter! Special thanks to Elizabeth for her attentiveness to our needs. I will always recommend this venue for anyone wanting to enjoy tea with lots of their friends… even the loud ones.

Went to a baby shower here: Pros: –spacious and roomy –Lots of cute décorations and hats –People who work there KNOW how to photograph –Scones and clotted cream was awesome –The tea sandwiches were tasty –There was enough room for many groups without being crowded –Cute hats Cons: –Hats may be smelly –Rickety sandwich holders –Tea wasn’t strong or good –Service was hit and miss-maybe 2 workers for the entire room which can hold like 65 people –Groups kept passing by and checking the place out. Odd. Conclusion, it’s cute and maybe good for a very specific purpose like a baby shower, girl’s graduation, bridal shower, etc. I wouldn’t just go unless there’s a group occasion. Didn’t know the price since it was thrown by a friend, but there seemed to be billing confusion towards the end even though she had reserved prior.

Came here on a sunny sunday afternoon with the girls. It was really cute and service is great. Sandwiches are turkey/cheese sandwiches with lettuce, mayo with avocado, mayo with tomato, mayo with egg salad, fruits and wonderful freshly baked buttery scones over cream or jelly. There are variety of tea options that are like stuff you find at teavana, but I prefer simple green tea. The place is super cute and nicely decorated. Its actually hard to find because it was located at a 2 story white building that I didn’t expect to be the place. Spring tea garden is not whats on the sign, but something else. I think its still Spring tea something though… I forgot. They do have wedding banquets here but I didn’t come for the banquets here.

Spring Tea Garden was the perfect location for my bridal shower. Making the reservation and the set up the day of the event was very easy.(Spring Tea Garden is popular, so be sure to make your reservation ahead of time!) The space is cute and clean, unlike some tea places that have a bit of a dingy feel. The menu we selected was more than enough for all of our guests. If you are coming with a large group, just be aware you can only order a few teas for the group instead of one tea type per person. I give Spring Tea Garden 5 stars because the event went off flawlessly, the food was excellent, the tea was served correctly, and I’d be more than happy to come back! Be sure to check out the hat selection so you are properly attired for your tea!

I was pleasantly surprised to wander into this lovely tea room for my(very) pregnant sister’s baby shower. For a party of 16, we were a little crowded at their longest table, but it made for good conversation. My first and main criticism is the vintage hat selection they provide. At first I was delighted at such a whimsical concept. However, when you look through the hats, it’s a little distracting to see such dated(in a bad way) hats marred with layers of foundation on the inside from previous parties. I recommend to management to tape up the insides and replace every few days to keep hats looking sanitary. After all, these parties aren’t cheap, and attention to details are key. –1 star. We chatted over organic jasmine tea and peach ginger tea. I highly recommend the latter, it’s fragrant and so tasty. Sugar is provided for those with a sweet tooth but I savored the gingery goodness. Can you tell I like the tea? Everyone’s place setting is different — it really feels like you walked into someone’s grandmas house for an afternoon hangout. We were presented with three tiers of food: mini croissant sandwiches, assorted finger sandwiches and fruit. There were also baskets of scones. The scones were a hit, paired with the cream and jam, those buttery, crumbly pastries were a party in my mouth! My cousin had been here before, and said they used to serve salmon finger sandwiches. They appear to have been replaced with tuna. Our second tier included avocado, egg salad and tomato triangle sandwiches. Our meal ended with bites of berry cheese cake and chocolate cake. These desserts were kind of anticlimactic, especially after how delicious the scones are. Over all, the service was okay. Our gal was obviously a little irritated to answer our questions, but dang she was quick to refill our tea pots! I ain’t mad at her. This venue is cute and we had a great time. I’m itching to plan my own tea party sometime in the near future!

Empty place upstairs – Week Day lunch with Kiddo– we tried on every hat and she was able to roam around freely. I ordered the«preset» menu– 3 tiers of food. Parking easy behind the building. Each tea cup and dish was unique. Scones & jams to die for… sandwiches and fruit– meh. After your light lunch and tea, kiddo started dancing on the wooden floor downstairs… no one was around so I turned on my i phone jams. Week DAY is the way to go for a perfect family lunch. Based on the reviews, weekends are crowded and my wayward(creative) kid might be stifled. Will return with nieces & ladies!

Lovely place to host a baby shower, friends birthday, or just have a girls day. TEAS We ordered the Wild Blossoms and Berries tea. This is by far the best fruit tea I’ve had yet. I need to find out where to get this tea since they don’t sell it in the can here. We also got the Darjeeling black tea and that was very nice as well. SCONES The cranberry scones they have are amazing. It’s served hot, so it melts in your mouth. They serve it with a regular jam and the best CLOTTEDCHEESE that is housemade. FOODTIER: FINGERSANDWICHES They had 2 – 3 types of finger sandwiches. Some had cucumber, others had avocado, and some with just ham and cheese I think. FRUITS They served fruits cut up on the tier. Strawberries, honeydew, canteloupe, and pineapple. All fresh and good. CROISSANTS Ham and cheese; turkey and cheese. Both are good, but i didn’t have too much of this. The croissant is nice but i wish it was warm and crispier. HATS They have a vast collection of «church-going» and tea hats. They are fun, sassy, enormous, and just great to photograph in. Gets you right in the mood.

The Spring Tea Garden is located on the 2nd floor of the Springfield Banquet Hall in Downtown Fullerton with public parking behind it. If I hadn’t seen«Spring Tea Garden» in the window, I probably would have overlooked this place entirely. I attended a baby shower at the tea house, where the staff had set up a large table for our party. Mismatched tea cups of varying designs were carefully laid out at each place setting — it was very cute. As the party began, giant pots of tea were brought out but only one was within reach for me — that turned out to be the Darjeeling Afternoon black tea. For such a long table, the cream or another teapot was always just out of reach. The staff brought out three-tiered stands with croissant sandwiches on top, finger sandwiches with egg, cucumber, tomato, or avocado, and fruit on the bottom. The best part of the meal were the cranberry orange scones that came with raspberry jam and coddled cream. I gave this place three stars because it really was just A-OK. The staff kept the teapots filled up but there was a delay between the delivery of the food and the condiments or «accoutrements» as my friend Amber called them — we didn’t realize there was coddled cream and jam to accompany the scones until we were on our 2nd basket(what scone lushes we were!). They do feature some whimsical«ladies who lunch» hats that all members of your party can wear and take photos with. It does take some getting used to that people are checking out the Springfield Banquet Hall for potential wedding venues, so people were taking photos of the tea room and inadvertently, of our party. Overall, I say this is a decent place to have a small gathering for whatever special event you are hosting.
