Steve Castner – Farmers Insurance

He is fantastic. If you are in the market for an insurance policy, Steve is the guy to go see. He is just an honest guy that will make sure that you end up with a policy that most benefits you, even if it is not with him.
I walked in to see him after a horrible experience with a new agent that was assigned to our family’s policy. Steve ran the quote and just flat out told me that I was getting a great deal on my current policy and to stick with it. He gave me tips on getting assigned a new agent as well as review my existing policy to let me know exactly where it’s lacking and what I could do without, something no agent has ever done in the 17 yrs I’ve been with the company.
He is the kind of guy you want looking after you when it comes to your family’s security.

Steve goes above and beyond. He is knowledgeable, friendly and will give you the right coverage to meet you and your families needs. I highly recommend him.

Costumer service is a zero! I’ve given him numerous chances to change his approach in dealing with our families insurance policy.
First off he is disrespectful towards my family (making fun of an ethic accent)
Doesn’t return calls! He has the audacity to say not to call if he doesn’t pick up the phone more than twice. Sometimes things are urgent!
Him and his staff aren’t helpful with claims. I waited 4 months to receive a check from insurance for a rental car while a body shop was taking care of damages.
Steve canceled coverage on a new car we purchased and mailed us back a check. If he communicated with his assistant he would of known our family was on vacation that we would’ve sign one piece of paper or like another agent sent us a pdf that we could sign remotely. (what if the car was in an accident? Wouldn’t of been covered because of Steve lack of communication with a person sitting 3 feet away from him?)
I will take the needed steps in voicing my concerns due to your unprofessional approach in handling our policy. You lost a client and I hope others will read this for unbiased review of your business ethics.

Steve helped me navigate through the mess of applying for insurance under the affordable health care act in under 20 min and got me an awesome rate. I was super confused when I reached out to him and I didn’t have to think about it at all.

Steve has made my experience dealing with an insurance company, the easiest, most efficient and most competent ever. Nothing is ever too much for Steve, he will bend overbackwards to answer your questions and make sure you are up to date and comfortable with all aspects of your policies. Steve is who I recommend, because he will explain everything and I mean EVERYTHING you want/​should know. He is a big help for me and my family, no one like him.

Steve took the time to explain the ins and outs of the different parts of auto insurance that affects the cost and provided scenarios on why I might want more or less coverage. I found that my previous coverage was fairly inadequate for certain scenarios and that I was paying way too much for others. When all was said and done I walked away with a comparable priced policy and coverage that I was happy with. Steve also provided me with a multi policy discount when I added homeowners (which was cheaper than what I was paying before) and gave me instructions on what I needed to do to update my escrow account.
I will continue to use Steve for all policies and any new ones that may come up as well! Top Shelf!
