This place is WAY better then the major brands like Flame Broiler And Waba Grill in taste and quantity. Very fast service and inexpensive for what you getting. This was my first time eating here and will definitely be a return customer.

This place is great! It’s hidden but the service and food is awesome. I went after the lunch rush so it didn’t take long to get my food. Hopefully the quality of service or food doesn’t change over time.

I found this joint when I went with a friend to a nearby business and it was love at first bite. I have literally gone back at least fifteen times and get the same thing every time. The chicken is delicious and the crunch roll is absolutely perfect. The price is on the higher side for their rolls but worth the quality. The place is clean and accommodating with all of the sides needed. Friendly and fast service as well. I have no complaints about this place and will be eating there tomorrow Im sure.

So much food and under $ 10 bucks! It taste good and they give you shrimp tempura with your purchase of a bento box! I’ll be coming here again even though it’s far away and flame broiler is near to me, screw it. I will drive the extra miles for this food

Wow, I’m never going to flame broiler again. Steak bowl is amazingly delicious and filling. They even have fresh ginger here. I’m going to be coming back, without a doubt, and explore some of their other menu option. I ordered and got my food in less than 5 minutes. My kind of place!!!

Consistently great food, huge portions for the price. I have tried all their meats and they are all amazing. The sushi isn’t bad but go for the teriyaki. Parking sucks but it’s worth the hassle.

This place is a little hidden gem in the corner of a strip mall. I love coming here for lunch. Food is delicious, portions are large, and price is great. I usually get the chicken/beef combo plate and it’s enough to fill me up unlike many other places. They also serve sushi rolls. I’ve had it and it’s not bad.

Generous portions, low prices, and incredibly quick food assembly. If you’re in the area, this place is hard to beat. I really enjoyed the chicken and steak combo bowl with brown rice — and I wish I had added vegetables as well. Next time… The steak was a tad grisly, not the *best* quality steak, but in a $ 5 lunch bowl I wasn’t expecting tenderloin. The chicken was great. Their standard teriyaki sauce is a tad sweet and syrupy, but I assume most people like that. I might ask for«less sauce» next time. Lunch bowls come in a convenient microwaveable bowl with a clear lid. Makes it fun to order a second bowl in case you need to defensively gather snack foods for later on down the road where your only hot food option might be a gas station burrito.

Delicious! There’s no competition between these guys and Flame Broiler or any of those other similar joints. Teriyaki Express blew them out of the water! Fresh chicken and beef, and they give you so much meat! Just give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Teriyaki Express is a hidden gem. If you are looking for a delicious place to eat and don’t want to break the bank, this is the place. They have more selections of meat then they do at Flame Broiler. They even have sushi if you’re a fan of that. We order a chicken bowl and a half and half bowl. The chicken is good but when I tried a piece of steak from my husband’s bowl I was in love! It tastes like a meat you would get at a korean bbq restaurant. The teriyaki sauce is good also. We were happy they had siracha sauce here too! TIP: If you check in on Unilocal, you get 10% off. They also ask for a min purchase of $ 5.00 to use a card.

Decided to give this place a try instead of a flame broiler or waba grill. The location is in a plaza which appears to be a bit seclusive and the inside of the restaurant is small, nice, and quiet, that is aside from the chef cooking that tasty food. The quality of the food is delicious. I chose to go with the steak bowl and California rolls. First thing I noticed was the meat, you get alot more than broiler. The rice and meat tasted way better than waba and broiler. Even smelled way better as I was opening the bowl. I decided to eat at the location and I noticed they were quick with service!!! They offer: bowls, plates, bento boxes, rolls, tempura, salads, side orders, and also do catering. Not quite sure if there are other locations, but it’s the first I’ve been to and I was very impressed with quality of service and food. Also, checked in with Unilocal and got 10% off order.

Teriyaki Express is a hidden gem here in fullerton. If you are looking for some tasty asian food, and don’t want to break the bank, this is your spot. I ordered the chicken and beef bowl and once that tender meat touched my lips, i became an instant fan. The chicken and beef are both cooked to perfection and is nice and tender. There is a good proportion of meat to rice, which i really liked, and for $ 6? What a steal!!! The customer service here is way above par, in which they are friendly and get your food to you fast. I literally ordered and sat down for 2 minutes and my food was ready. I even questioned if that was my food or not, and the cashier reassured me it was. I ordered a side of miso soup to compliment my teriyaki bowl, and was very satisfied by the large portion and nice miso taste. Definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem, you won’t leave disappointed!

Great food for the value. I ordered the salmon bento and it came with miso soup, rice, California roll and tempura. I wasn’t a fan of the tempura. The batter was way too thick. It reminded me more of a fried fair food more than tempura. It most definitely was not tempura batter. Other than that, I thought everything was very tasty and for the price, you really can’t complain. My boyfriend got the combo bowl and he really liked it. It wasn’t doused in teriyaki sauce which I appreciate because then it allows us to add more. They leave out plenty of teriyaki sauce for you to add on your own. The service was friendly and the food came out really fast. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out. Good food, good value.

In the history of the NBA, we witnessed players who were great shooters, great rebounders, great scorers and great passers. The names are countless. And I could probably write all day naming all of them. But I don’t want to do that. I’ll save that review after I visit the The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts in the future. But who had the all around great package? The one player who could do everything? I’m a huge teriyaki fan. I love teriyaki. I’ve tried bad teriyaki to average to good. But these teriyaki places were missing something. Either they had no value, small portions or it flat out tasted average. We all know Flame Broiler now. They are the king with the most locations in California. However, their biggest flaw is that their portions have shrunk over the years and I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth. It was probably the first to utilize green onions on top and have Louisiana Hot Sauce as their sauce of choice(although Huy Fong’s Sriracha is the top sauce of choice for me with teriyaki). They have the almighty and untouchable magic sauce, but that alone can’t help this until a plate is less than $ 9 and provides bigger portions. The chicken are thick cuts of juicy meat grilled to perfection. The steak(more like beef) are medium cuts grilled well done. It reminds me of bulgogi(which is a Korean style marinated beef), but thicker and tastier and less watery. Bulgogi is notorious for having too much water come out as it’s grilled. The salad with dressing — I love how they use both compartments for the salad. Many places use 1 compartment for salad and an egg roll, gyoza(fried dumpling) or a slice of fruit. I like salad more with my teriyaki so I love the use of both compartments. The dressing is a clean tasting Asian inspired dressing that has a bit of a kick with the generous amount of black pepper that goes in it. It’s one of the better salad dressings for a teriyaki restaurant out there. The teriyaki sauce is lighter in color and has that sweet and savory taste we are accustomed to eating. It’s not as rich as Flame Broiler’s magic sauce, but it’s a nice teriyaki sauce. I love the sauce station. There are already Huy Fong Food’s Sriracha(David Trans famous sauce) and a bottle of squeezable teriyaki sauce on each table, but there is another station that has more supplies of the two. That’s not the end of it. You can grab sliced ginger, jalapenos and even put as much green onions as you want. Isn’t that awesome? Chicken Bowl $ 5.45 Chicken Plate $ 6.95 Steak Bowl $ 6.05 Steak Plate $ 7.95 Santa Fe Plate(chicken and beef with 3 pieces of grilled shrimp) $ 8.75 Brown rice is an extra charge of $ 0.50 for bowls and $ 1.00 for plates. Extra chicken $ 1.50 Extra steak $ 1.95 Extra white meat $ 1.50 Avocado $ 1.25 Throughout his career, he was a fairly underrated player that essentially gave his team points, rebounds, steals and assists. In London, he was a huge spark off the bench and someone you might not recognize before he rose to prominence this year proving he can do a bit of everything. Teriyaki Express is like the Andre Iguodala of the Warriors and the newly crowned Finals MVP.

This place is awesome. The workers are super cool and the service is quick. A wide variety from chicken veggie bowls to sushi rolls. Come once or twice a week and I wouldn’t want to go any where else. It’s kind of hidden in the corner, but in the same parking lot as subway.
