To begin with the positives, I was really satisfied with my «Good Morning» burrito with bacon. The salsa bar tasted fresh and had a good variety, the spicy salsa was actually spicy. It wasn’t too mushy and had the right consistency. The wait time does take a while but the taste of the food makes up for it. The reason why this place only has three stars for me is the poor ventilation! I was in the sitting area and it felt like I was right next to the grill. It got really smoky and hard to breathe in there and my clothes smelled like I just got out of kbbq joint. The service of the cashier was eh. When my food was ready she just set it out on the counter and gave me a quick eye contact and moved on with other things she was doing, it felt a bit rude.

So good!!! It might not look the part on the outside, but the actual food is very good! Everything on the menu is done from scratch so it’s very fresh, definitely not your typical Robertos, Filibertos or however many«ertos» there are! Has a wide variety of things to choose from. Service is great. Food might take a little, but mind you that it’s made by hand.

Worst place ever! Came here with my mom and sister our orders took about 45 min and then my sisters order wasn’t right… my mom had the Carne asada quesadilla and it had practically no meat and we were like ok that’s fine we tried the fried bananas and on one of the bowls there was a hair! It was so disgusting! We don’t recommend it!

They have this fruit salad with watermelon pineapple melon strawberries coconut raisins cottage cheese and condensed milk. You can get some great regional dishes that you don’t usually find in a walk up torta place: quesadillas with huitlacoche(«corn truffles») fried platanos served with crema, barbacoa estilo Hidalgo. Fresh fruit juices like orange pineapple mango cantaloupe watermelon strawberry or all of the above mixed together. Oh yeah and the tortas are great.

Best carne asada tortas around! I love how they throw in the jalapeños too add even more flavor. The atmosphere is inviting, friendly, and is a great place to sit, munch, and relax.

Great food but they take forever on making the food, i’m literally sitting here waiting for my food right now as I’m typing this and it’s been 35 minutes since I order my food, and minutes are still counting. –____–

I love this place. I usually get the corona burger. Best burger ever. they changed the menu since I was in last. But it’s an all around great place. Usually clean… Sometimes not, and I think that is because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic so they aren’t checking the dinning area as often as they should be. Like I said, I love this place… It’s a good go to when you’re starving for something that is prepared on the spot, but don’t want to have to pay $ 20.00 for a good meal. :)

Off the beaten path a bit, in a «what looks like a run down plaza», is this hidden gem off the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Placentia Ave. * Very empty on a Saturday night. * Minimal seating area. * Offers a variety of menu items: tortas, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, ensaladas, fruit salads(bionico-like), Jarritos glass sodas, and juices(fresh squeezed and others). * Moderately priced ** Order: Torta + Fruit Salad $ 5~$ 7: Torta meat choices: ham, beef, pork, ham & cheese, etc. Each torta include a crispy bread, jalapenos, cilantro paste, lettuce, tomato, onions, and refried beans. $ 4.99(small), $ 6.99(large): The fruit salad includes: pineapple, apple, cantaloupe, watermelon, and pineapple. Topped with cottage cheese, honey, coconut bits, raisins, and granola.

This place was … okay. Ordered: Carne Asada burrito(with no beans): It’s pretty much rice and carne asada inside. There were a few onions and springs of cilantro in there but no guac, pico… the bare minimum. The meat was pretty grinded up, almost as if you were eating ground beef with a bit more texture. Carne Asada Torta(with no beans): This dam thing came with beans, but it wasn’t terrible. Again, this had the same problem of having the grinded up asada. Did irk me a bit that they used a bean spread when I asked for no beans… Prices are around ~6 per sandwich and burrito. This would be a two star review if I had paid full price… but I was able to snag a coupon off for $ 10 off a $ 20 purchase. So in terms of price(with coupon) + quantity, 2 burritos and 2 sandwiches for $ 14 isn’t that bad. They did provide me with 2 bags of chips, so that was cool. But one thing to note, the restaurant smelled kind of strange. Ever walk into a hair salon? Yeah, it smells like that. 2.5 stars.

The tortas were pretty good. I got a Cubana, with milanesa, carnitas, and ham. The meats were grilled to order and the roll was good. I’m not sure about the inclusion of refried beans, I think it made the overall texture a bit soft. The people were friendly and the restaurant seemed very clean. They gave us free chips and the two salsas were very good. Worth another try.

It was getting late so I wanted something to eat and fast but not at a mega fast food joint. I ordered a torta and it was pretty good, but not excellent. The torta had a good flavor to it but I had to struggle with the meat. Nice lady who works at the counter and the place is kept clean.

Asada Torta was very good but a little expensive. Here’s a secret: I’ll take tasty over authentic any day.

Food is overpriced, service is slow, and this is nowhere near authentic Mexican food. I went there once on my way to school and was completely disappointed. I ordered an order of tacquitos(4) and a small jamaica. The total came to nearly $ 8. It was just tacquitos, not a plate. I know places where you can get tacquitos, rice and beans, for under $ 6. To make things worse it took them nearly 10 minutes to get me my food and I was the only one there. The tacquitos were a huge disappointment once I finally ate them. They weren’t greasy, which was nice, but that was the only plus. The chicken was mushy and felt grounded. Nothing had any flavor and the serving of guacamole was just sad.

Ohhhh boy, sorry to the owner and chefs who work here but this place is terrible. This Mexican cuisine is not worth trying at all, not authentic what so ever, Taco Bell and Del Taco are a better bet to go to. The breakfast burrito I ordered here was super bland, tortilla was not heated, the ham felt like it was straight out if the deli meat package, and bacon felt raw. Nice people who work there, but their presentation is terrible.

Tortas are their specialty, and it’s not surprising why! They come with lots of meat, beans, jalapeños, cheese and more. There is so much flavor into each bite! One of these warm and fresh sandwhiches will leave you satisfied. My usual order is a chicken torta with an horchata. I love their salsa bar and agua frescas. Overall, it’s a small, clean place that’s not too loud. I come here often, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Definitely a hidden gem in the Fullerton area!
